Delete some Photos Surface RT

While creating files of photos of surface 132 (16 G) were inadvertently copied from another computer to surface.
RESULT: Only 4G left in memory.  Photos should be removed
CAUSE: unknown
TROUBLESHOOTING: Checked on SkyDrive, only 4 photos on SkyDrive. CTRL-A, pressed to REMOVE the selected files, the file has not been deleted.  Pulled the bottom of file, no delete option.  Tried click & drag, then DELETE, file has not been deleted.  Key function tested with word document deletion, he erased letters in word.  Power down & up, without the change.  Tried ALT - H, no menu drop-down does not appear.  REFRESH.  AIRPLANE mode enabled, still won't delete, restore the AIRCRAFT off the COAST.  When you tap a folder or a picture, menu drop-down does not delete option, it offers slide show & other options.

Two solutions:
Delete all photos
Pictures prevent copying on the Surface.  I don't want to synchronize the Surface with other computers.
Thanks for your help
Lakepuppy

It is the only way to do it?  Seems ridiculously heavy for me and not friendly at all.

There should be a way to do it directly from the photo app screen.

If you use iCloud photo library all the photos you delete a device will be deleted to iCloud and all other devices that are connected to this library to iCloud. The iCloud design library should synchronize all changes, including deletions, to all devices. You can reduce the storage space required on your phone by selecting settings > iCloud > Photos > optimize iPhone storage.

These files can only be set to hidden,

Massive rearmament of the hidden attributes can be done by right clicking the (my photos) entry in the folder tree section and select Properties, general tab, select the hidden check box and click on apply, this will change all files to hidden, click Yes, and then uncheck the hidden box and if applied, it will remove the attribute hidden all your files, click Yes and then save.

  • How to remove photos from my iPhone without deleting icloud photo library?

My iPhone is full and I wanted to remove some photo to release some spaceso I supported the up to iCloud and I started to remove photos. ***? They are endangered to iCloud! Now, they're just gone. It's crazy! Image capture you can import to everywhere, but the function "delete after importing" seems to have disappeared. I'm sure this question has been beat to death, but how you remove photos from their phone without removing them from their photo library iCloud?

    So frustrating.

Does anyone know of a solution to this?

iCloud is a synchronization system, not just external storage.  Once you turn on photo library all you do with a photo is on ALL of your devices (including remove them).  See the last section in this article on how to recover pictures that you inadvertently deleted:

iCloud: use iCloud photo library on your iOS device

If you want to delete the pictures and videos of all your iOS, Mac and iCloud.comdevices, you can delete them in the Photos app.

When you delete a photo or video of your Photos app, also will not delete your photo library and iCloud iCloud storage. You can retrieve your photos and videos from the album recently deleted for 30 days.

  • BlackBerry Q10 Q10 my deleted my photos

I read the answer and the fix for the poster to others who have had this problem so I made that my SD card was connected and it is.  The last time this happened it has deleted my contacts and they came back after I made sure that the cards were tight.   I was looking at a picture that I took today and bang - it and all my other photos are gone.  For awhile my app and recorded text pictures remained, but not that they are too. opps, that they return.  It's crazy.

Before the disappearance of my photos, I deleted an old application, Songza, that I had not deleted.

I checked the care of the SD, I pulled the battery because that after all this is Blackberry and it is always a solution for them.

I have not saved in 2 weeks and here some photos I don't want to lose.

    Help!

I solved my problem.  I had to download a file retrevail / repair program that I then used to recover and repar photos from my SD card.  I live in a rural area and pay for the software was not ideal, but it was still less expensive 2 hours away in a store that may or may not have been able to do the same.  My new mantra - upward - upward - pointing upwards.  Too bad I hate to use Blackberry link, the former backup system was much easier to use.  I love my keyboard and small Q10, but it could be my last blackberry.

  • BlackBerry smartphones delete a photo in my pictures library

I used to delete the photos but for some of them in my photo library file (it s pictures people sent me) I can t and I got this message "the file is currently in use" so how could I do? "

If you remove your battery when your phone is turned on, then you replace it, you should see this message disappear.

    I hope that helps you.

  • How will I know if I deleted a photo or if it is missing?

I recently got a new MacBook and just left my old one on an external hard drive. I keep my photos on the external hard drive now and everytime I open LR, he seems to forget where are my pictures. I found a few missing pictures before, but they seem to disappear again when I close and re-open later LR.

I also deleted pictures in the recent past (before and after the transfer to external hard drive) from the inside, LR, and now I can not tell if the? refers to two photos and deleted missing photos or only missing photos (often there is no thumbnail for me to see what picture it is). Is there a way to tell if the photo has been deleted or not? I don't want to waste my time looking for mysterious images of (miniature less) that I wanted to delete anyway. I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance for any guidance on this.

If you use the option delete picture or pictures in LR, and select Remove from the disk image files are both removed from the LR catalog and removed the disc they were on. There is no way to remove an image from your hard drive and not remove it from the LR catalog from inside Lightroom. You can delete the catalog and not delete hard drive in LR, but not vice versa.

So if you see a question mark (?) next to a LR image is unclear to where is this image. For as far as LR knows that the image is missing.

There is a problem with Mac computers and external drives.

    (1) start up your Mac, it can take a few seconds to a minute or more for OS X to see the external hard drive is connected. If you start LR at the moment sees no OS X, recognize the external hard drive you will get? marks on all the images that are stored on this drive and imported in the LR catalog.

    (2) OS X has a function to put hard drives to sleep, internal and external drives. If this happens, OS X puts your drive external to sleep and you open LR it may take some time for the reader to be seen and for LR to connect with the pictures that are on this drive.

There is a setting in the OS X preferences to stop this (or at least there was at the time Mt Lion and Maverick in Mac OS X. I have not used the new versions of OS X).
