Delete suggested keywords

I have keywords to create filenames for the photos and I accidentally used the capsules previously. Now I can't use these same keywords without the caps version again all set a keyword that normally capitalized. I tried to remove items suggested in Lightroom > catalog settings > metadata > clear lists all suggestion. This does not solve the problem. Is there a way to delete the suggested keywords and start with keywords all together?

You can change the case of an existing keyword by double-clicking on it in the keyword list Panel and change the Keyword tag.  When you save the capitalization was corrected, the keyword Suggestions will update automatically.

If you really want to delete all of your keywords, you can click on the first in the list of keywords, and then shift-click the last to select all the. Then click on the "-" at the top of the list of keyword window.  This will remove all keywords in the keyword list AND all the photos that have been entrusted to him.

After a major keyword organization, I'm done with several hundred keywords that does not see all (i.e. count is 0). Now, I want to remove those and the only way, it seems that I can do is one at a time. It would be nice if I could select a block of them and right click and click 'Delete', but it does not work. • Apply suggested keywords

My understanding is the asterisk to the right a key word indicates one of two things: all selected photos include all key words shown, or key words are suggestions of LR.  Whatever it is, I'm not able to indicate to LR that Yes, good choice, I want that, or, apply to all keywords to the photos all highlighted.  What is the command or have to apply all of the keywords shown in all the pictures? Everything I do is not get them to stick.

When you see an asterisk to the right of a keyword, and you want it to apply to all keywords, you simply delete the asterisk (in the same way as you would delete a character in a text editor)

My understanding is the asterisk to the right a key word indicates one of two things: all selected photos include all key words shown, or key words are suggestions of LR

I never heard that the asterisk can indicate a keyword suggested, and I am skeptical about the accuracy of this statement.

  • Deleted location keyword search

In FireFox if I used type BBC in the address bar would take me on the BBC website. Today however it takes me to a google search.

It was in fact one of the main things I used to enjoy on FireFox and if it's yet another thing that has been deleted for "improvements", as if the status bar was (although his back with an add-on) then I guess I'll have to go back to IE or try another browser.

If however there is something I need to do to get it back I will do it gladly.

    Thank you.

  • Base table deletion suggestion of the rqd questioned

    Hai

I have 10 million record in the table.

    table has no index.

When I run the command "Select * from table" takes a lot of time.

My question is when to delete all records except a record and committed. now when I run the same command "" select * from table ' "

Now, as it takes a long time... ?

    Why?

    Please give more suggestions

    S

Because Oracle scans all the blocks in this table / segment.
Many of these blocks are empty, but Oracle still to be scanned.

If you truncate the table (without the RE-USE of STORAGE clause), then Oracle have reset the high water mark for this table / segment, and not need to analyze all those empty blocks more.

  • Delete the keywords input field after form submission web app search

    Hi all

I work on a Web site and have a question about a specific page:

    http://tullystattoo.BusinessCatalyst.com/Raleigh-tattoo-portfolio

My question is: did someone knows a way to erase the form input field "Keywords" after we submit the search form? By example, if I type in a word like 'colour' in the keyword and click the search button, I am presented with pieces of portfolio that include 'colour' in the description. However, the 'color' remains in the keyword form input field, so if I decide I want check the 'grey' and 'technical' rather than 'keyword' search, the color of the Word always remains in the input field. Dies, someone has any ideas on how I might be able to clear this form field whenever a search is performed?

Thank you in advance - you guys and girls are always great!

I found an example of a site that has done can be found here: http://planmyplay.co.nz/ but I don't know how they do?

    Hey,.

    It "should" work.

You need to insert some javascript/jQuery in your scripts.js file

on one of the empty lines before //Flex cursor init

    You must insert:

    if (jQuery('.webappsearchresults')[0]) {jQuery('#CAT_txtKeywords').val("")}

Basically, it checks to see if there are some search results on the page, and then clears the value of the search box.

I do not guarantee that it works, but I'm pretty confident that you may need to play a little with it.

    See you soon

    doc.info.Keywords [0] = k

  • Keyword question-how do mass you remove/change

My workflow has changed because I have used the program and as such, my keyword process has changed as well.  I've been unsuccessful in changing/deleting of a key word on several files at the same time.  My current method:

Select multiple files in a LIBRARY/FILM mode

    Select the Sync metadata button

In the KEYWORDS section, add a Word

It works very well for the addition, but if I select one of the words and delete it or change it, it don't not remove/change the word, he says just what I'm typing.

Is there an easier way this vice file-by-file select/delete-change?

You can make changes in mass of keywords in the keywords Panel. But you need the pictures selected in the library grid view - not in the film. Perhaps it is also the key to why your method of synchronization does not work for you. I know, it looks like a selection of several photos in the film must be the same by selecting them in the grid view, but it does not work like that.

This approach is very taxing to the Lightroom Catalog, so I found that I have to be careful. Allow Lightroom finish ' accumulated metadata "before making a change. Make sure that you are using the "Add keywords". If you delete a keyword, make sure that you click in the keyword text entry box after deleting it also that the deletion can't.

A change in this interactive mode can kick off a large number of database transactions if you let finish before you make another change.

I used to use ACDSee Pro and the only way to change the metadata on more than one image was to use their synchronization tool. Adobe has been brave to allow users to directly.

  • Keyword Sync only adds keywords, will not remove the keywords

"Synchronization of metadata" using the keywords of synchronization between photos should ensure that all the selected images have the same keywords that I think.

When opens the window to synchronize the metadata, it presents a box to Edit keywords in also. I have the check box to ensure that all the selected images will have the entered keywords - but that does not work either.

Is this a bug or a feature?

    Thank you

    DAN

You can do this, but not (easily, in any case, as far as I KNOW) to synchronization metadata.

Is an easy way to do it, once you get the hang of it, to the library, to the (NO magnifying glass) grid, select the images that you want to remove a keyword from.  Click on the spray paint can icon that appears at the bottom in the center when you one or more images highlighted in the display of the grid.  In the paint: keywords window that appears after clicking on the spray paint can, type the keywords to delete all the images highlighted.  Click the mouse on one of the photos (directly on the image using the grid, NOT on the border around the image in grid).  The icon in the image spray paint should switch on a blackboard eraser icon.  Click directly on an image for the grid again to delete the keyword you typed all the images highlighted.

Whenever you click directly on an image highlighted in the display of the grid, you will alternate between painting designated keywords and erase the words of key designated on all images highlight.

You can also paint or clear keywords, a single image at a time, in the view of the grid.  It is sometimes more useful to try to ctrl - click to select multiple images when you are analysis of a record in the grid view and paint on keywords that you see the images that correspond to the key.

  • Please correct the function map for photo albums in Photos

Dear Apple people - difficulty please please the function map for photos in photo books. I loved the features of cards in iPhoto, so why go to all the trouble of screwing up so royally in Photos v1.5? A few examples at random: instead of being able to type a place name and have the program to find the place for you, must now click on the + sign, then a red dot appears in a place at random (as in the middle of the Tasman Sea), and we can then move the red dot at the location you want (after first checking a different map to determine the correct location of the place you mean - Port Douglas Australia for example). A colossal waste of time. Or how about this: it takes an hour to put the plan in place so, then closes the program. At the next opening it, found the red dots have all migrated to odd locations around the map, bearing no resemblance to where they were placed at the origin. Once again, a huge waste of time. And it's only two of many examples.

Please, I beg you, bring back the features of cards in iPhoto!

1 - Apple isn't here - it is strictly a user to user forum

2 - person here can fix anything

    3. you can certainly type the names of places with pictures - using Photos (a great place to get help with Photos)

View and add information about the photos

To view or change information for the photos, you select one or more photos, and then open the information window.

    • Open the Info window: Double-click a photo to view it, and then click the Info button in the toolbar or press on command I.
    • Add or edit information:
    • Change the following.
      • Title: Enter a name in the title field.
      • Description: In the Description field, type a caption.
      • Favorite: Click the Favorites button to mark the photo as a favorite. Click the button again to deselect.
      • Keywords: Enter the keywords in the keywords field. When you type, Photos suggest keywords that you have used before. Press enter when you have finished a keyword. To remove a keyword, select it and press DELETE.
      • Faces: Click on and type a name to identify a face. Click on several times, and then drag the identifier of the face different faces to identify many faces in a photo.
      • Location: Enter a location in the location field. When you type, Photos suggest places you can choose. To change a location, you can search a different location or change the location by dragging a PIN on the map. To remove location information, delete it or choose Image > location, then choose Remove location or back to the original location. You cannot assign a location if your computer is not connected to the Internet
