delete the index in the transformation script

In a custom transformation script, I would delete the indexes on a table.  However, I don't see that there is no table.removeIndex function ().  Is there another way I can drop an index?

You can use the table.remove(KeyObject key) method, passing the Index into the KeyObject parameter.

    Hello

    If you use "debug", probably you will see some of the problems you have.

    line 16 - index.remove;

    be - index.remove ();

    but you can't get there because you're wrong check:

    {if (Constraint.isFK ())}

    must be:

    {if (!) {(Constraint.isFK ())}

    other problems:

    (1) 4th place will put all the paintings as dirty

    table.setDirty (true);

    This should be moved after the removal of the index

    (2) the same for the constraint - you define constraints like salty, BTW, it is not necessary define elements of array as dirty, if the table is / will be defined as dirty.

    Script could be dangerous - make your tests on the copy of the drawing or model. Versioning can help here - after running the script and save the drawing, you can see in the outgoing changes (subject to a window changes) exactly what is changed by this script and probably undo the changes if you don't like them.

  • How to use the transformation script to add columns to the PK?

    I'm working on a script transformation that:
    -create a table
    -Adds the columns to the table
    -create a primary key for the table

    See the below script.
    Now, I want to add the primary key column.
    Documentation fix r: class IndexColumnUsage

    The Index of the class has a getter: getIndexColumnUsageList()
    and the list apply: applyIndexColumnUsageList

    Someone at - it an idea how to use these methods to add the column to the PK?

    I thank in advance.

    relational = model.getDesign () .getFirstOpenRelationalDesign ();
    table = relational.getTableSet () .createTable (null);
    table.setName ("TABLE");
    column = table.createColumn (null);
    column.setName ("COLUMN");
    index = table.createIndex (null);
    index.setName ("PK");
    index.setIndexState ("primary obligation");

    Hello

    If you have the column and index (both belonging to the same table) use:

    the index. Add (Column);

    to remove the column:

    the index. Remove (Column)

  • Help with excel import and delete the page script

    Hello. I will try to make it as simple as possible. I have some data from excel (saved as delimited by tabs) that I need to import in a 5 PDF page. I use the script below to import, and it works fine. All import fields and records the individual (one for each record) PDF. However, I need to extend this functionality by removing some pages before it saves the document by looking at the different boxes. The code below is what I use to import the records.

    // specify the filename of the data file
    var fileName = "/Users/MacMike/Desktop/Test.txt";  // the tab delimited text file containing the data
    var outputDir = "/Users/MacMike/Desktop/Dump/";    // make sure this ends with a '/'

    var err = 0;
    var idx = 0;
    while (err == 0) {
        err = this.importTextData(fileName, idx);    // imports the next record

        if (err == -1)
            app.alert("Error: Cannot Open File");
        else if (err == -2)
            app.alert("Error: Cannot Load Data");
        else if (err == 1)
            app.alert("Warning: Missing Data");
        else if (err == 2)
            app.alert("Warning: User Cancelled Row Select");
        else if (err == 3)
            app.alert("Warning: User Cancelled File Select");
        else if (err == 0) {
            this.saveAs(outputDir + this.getField("Full Name (First Last)").value + "-" + this.getField("Event Title").value + ".pdf"); // saves the file
            idx++;
        }
    }

    As I said before you import works surprisingly well.

    My PDF consists of 5 pages (info-registration, p1 = Dir-contract = p0, p2 = contract ndarp-brand, p3 = takes-contract, p4 = agreement must be brand). My idea is that on the import of data, the script will look at a few check boxes and determine which contracts to remove on the PDF and then save. I wrote the syntax of which, in my view, what it should look like. I'm not a programmer and know just a little bit. I looked through the documentation and this is what I came with. I don't know how to combine to work. Here's the code I came up with that.

    var dir = this.getField("Associate Director"); // checkbox
    var aldir = this.getField("Alumni Director"); // checkbox

    var fac = this.getField("Facilitator"); // checkbox
    var alfac = this.getField("Alumni Facilitator"); // checkbox

    var oyb = this.getField("Optimize Your Brain"); //checkbox
    var poyb = this.getField("DVD and Workbook Previously Purchased"); // checkbox

    // Below are all the possible training options.
    if (dir.value=="Checked" || aldir.value=="" || fac.value=="" || alfac.value=="" || oyb.value=="" || poyb.value=="") {
        this.deletePages({nStart:3, nEnd:4})
    }
    else if (dir.value=="" || aldir.value=="Checked" || fac.value=="" || alfac.value=="" || oyb.value=="" || poyb.value=="") {
        this.deletePages({nStart:3, nEnd:4})
    }

    How to combine these two so that I can create a document temp import my data, check the boxes to check off and delete the appropriate pages and save the file and then go to the next record? I got the first part done. It imports large and has the right, but I don't know what to do next. Thanks for any help!

    Or y at - it another way to do this?

    Michael

    Wow. Ok. I had it works beautifully. There was a lot of trial and error. Because the script as it was would have, would open the original PDF, delete the pages needed, then save the file. While it would be to go to the next record is missing pages in PDF and bomb to open. I hunted and searched for a way to do this. I found "this.insertPages" in the documentation. Finally, what worked was so move the "save under" in the service and put it under every variation of check. So now when checking the boxes, he performs the check, removes the mandatory pages, stops, insertions of back in deleted pages from the original file, leave the service and finally goes to the next record.

    Here is my final script:

    // This code looks at an excel (tab delimited) file, imports the records into a PDF form 10 Pages long.
    // Then checks a series of checkboxes and deletes the pages that aren't associated with first page.
    // After it deletes these pages it reinserts the deleted pages so it can do the checks for the next record in the (tab delimited) file.

    // variables for importing excel data
    var err = 0;
    var idx = 0;
    var fileName = "/Users/MacMike/Desktop/Test.txt"; // the tab delimited text
    var outputDir = "/Users/MacMike/Desktop/Dump/";    // make sure this ends with a '/'

    //Checking a bank of 6 checkboxes and determine which pages need to be deleted, save the file, and the insearch the deleted pages again.
    function seekandDestroy() {

  • Subview formatting using the transformation script

    Hello

    We have 200 + subviews with tables including a piece to roughly 100 columns. After you have created templates, we decided that only see us the PK and FK columns and hide the rest. I was able to write a script transformation to display only the columns, but now my paintings appear as if they have 100 columns, but only show 2. What do I need to do in the script transformation for "Best Fit" size of each tables, and then define automatic layout - layout 1 for schemas.

    Thank you

    cur.rearrangeDiagram2(1, true, 'Layout 1');

  • Can we migrate Informatica transformation Scripts in Oracle Data Integrator?

    Hello

    Hello

    Just to clarify any passage of Informatica in ODI you will have to do it yourself, like a reimplementation

    Your informatica workflow to create new package ODI (eventually plan to charge).
    Use your mappings informatica to create new ODI interface (don't forget that ODI can load only 1 target by interface table)

    Oracle Open World, this has been a hot topic in the discussions, but there was nothing still.

  • Tips for the custom transformation script change the Associations of FK table

    Hello

    I try to write a transformation script that will scroll through tables in a large model and change some
    FK associations to change the remote table at CF. By the way, the reason is that our logic model
    the logical entities that represent many areas of codes of small research. However, our relational and physical model has a
    utility single physical filing table of codes that contains all areas of these codes. Therefore, a part of the transformation
    our logic model for the relational model is to swing all FK associations for these areas of research codes
    in the table of common code. Then the paintings representing the research areas can be removed from hard.

    In any case, I'm looking at the

    oracle.dbtools.crest.model.design.relational.FKIndexAssociation

    or the

    oracle.dbtools.crest.model.design.relational.Index

    to see if one of them can be manipulated to perform the transformation I want to accomplish.

    When I perform the equivalent process manually via the property sheets there are several ways to address this problem.

    (a) the method more jolise seems to change the FK in place by clicking on the FK in the relational schema and changing
    the property called ' PK / UK Index'. Change that to the pharmacokinetics of utility code repository table that replaces the original
    table (which represents the research field). A side effect of this translates into CF mapping
    columns being nulled out. They must be remapped to original columns (which are kept).
    So in two stages, the existing FK is detached from the original, attached table to the new table, and then
    FK columns are reused in place for new CF mapping.

    (b) the brute force method is to remove the original FK and then create a completely new FK to the new table. There are
    several dialog boxes that allow you to keep the original FK columns and use them in the new FK.

    I realize, this is a somewhat complex transformation, but I would like a few algorithmic advice on which path to take
    to try to achieve. In particular, there is a script that is equivalent to that of the first process above?

    I don't even know if the CF which is represented on the relational schema is represented by the FKIndexAssociation or Index
    class in the script object model. In other words, I have to loop through the tables in the relational model what would be my
    starting point:

    FKS = table.getFKAssociationsList ();

    or

    fkIndexes = table.getAllInds_FKeyInds ();

    or something else. The names of the properties in the user interface are always with the properties of scripts not so
    It's a little difficult to understand such things.

    Once I have access to the object that is equivalent to the FK in the property/diagram worksheet, which
    is the best way to handle via script. How can I change the end of parent and away from CF to point to the new table.
    Or if I have to delete the original CF and then re-create - is there a way to save the original FK columns and reuse them
    While creating the new FK?

    ********************

    Another question. What is the best way to remove tables from a relational model. I note that there is a remove() undocumented (?)
    a method that is available on the Table. It's probably a superclass to remove other things as well.

    When I try to use this method in a loop the script throws up to dialog boxes that are similar to dialog boxes that are displayed during the execution of a removal
    manually through the user interface. Is it possible to intercept and answer dialogs programmatically?
    So for example if I get a window of dialogue as

    You want to remove generated columns of FK 'FOO' in the table 'BAR '?

    is it possible to intercept this dialog in the script and then answer Yes or no it via the script?

    ***************

    If it is too difficult to perform this type of transformation with the help of script
    is to do the transformation on the generated DDL file. But it would be cleaner to
    to do the transformation in the relational model DM if possible.

    All advice appreciated.

    It's in the preferences - "Data Modeler > model > relational > remove FK column strategy."

    I don't even know if the CF which is represented on the relational schema is represented by the FKIndexAssociation or Index

    Is a pair of two - FKIndexAssociation, that's what you see the pattern, but it is hidden in the table index - isFK() returns true for this type of index and you can take FK with getFKAssociation()

    Once access to the object that is equivalent to the CF in the property/diagram worksheet

    table.getFKAssociations () - returns an array of the foreign keys;
    You can get to them from the relational model:
    model.getFKIndexAssociationSet () .toArray () - FK all model

    How can I change the end of parent and away from CF to point to the new table.
    Or if I have to delete the original CF and then re-create - is there a way to save the original FK columns and reuse them
    While creating the new FK?

    There should be no problem if you use the same number of columns with the same data type and order:

    get the current FK columns
    columns = fk.getColumns ();
    newRefKey is the new key question; referred and child columns must match the data type and the order in the keys - you do not ask how to get
    fk.changeKeyObject (newRefKey, columns);

    function setting in preferences, you will get the question on the columns of FK.

    Therefore, a part of the transformation
    our logic model for the relational model is to swing all FK associations for these areas of research codes
    in the table of common code. Then the paintings representing the research areas can be removed from hard.

    You can create the hierarchy of entities with the root attribute (and PK identifier) KP holding entity and entity - your look-up - empty child relationships will be these entities of the child. With the help of the transformation of the "unique Table" you will get what you are trying to achieve now with script.

  • The button script delete custom

    On the form below, I am trying to create a script for Red custom button (red button with 'X' white) which will remove only this particular meeting topic and renumber the remaining subjects in the order. I created a pop-up message appears warning the user that they are about to delete the row, but can not find a way to remove this particular occurrence form.

    I also wanted to followed dropdowns only include numbers of the displayed topic but can leave what I (list 1-> 25) If this is not possible,.

    Try the following code in the click event of the button Delete.

    var nResponse = xfa.host.messageBox ("you are about to delete this line. \n\nDo you want to continue? ","deleting a line ", 1, 2);

    If (nResponse is 4)

    this.parent.instanceManager.removeInstance (this.parent.index);

    Also, place the following code in the ready Layout event instead of the initialize event of the NumericField.

    this.rawValue = this.parent.index + 1;

  • TDMS-2503 error recovery - delete the index file does not

    My team worked an acquisition of data on some test machines, and I went today to begin the analysis of the data.  It turns out that two of the TDMS files that we generated cannot be opened in Diadem, Excel or use the controls file TDMS Opend in LabVIEW.  I also tried the repair of PDM tool, with the same result.  The test machine has since been demolished, so there is no way to re - run tests.  Is it possible to have the files was looking to see if all the data can be recovered?

    The files were generated with LabVIEW 2013 SP1.  Attemtped to open them in the same version of LabVIEW, and Diadem 2015, and the importer of excel (excel 2010).

    TDMS files are rather large (> 1 GB), but the tdms_index files that were generated with them were 0kB.  Delete the tdms_index files and re - open the TDMS files had no effect.

    A first look into files (using the primitives to open the binary in LabVIEW), the initial section of the appearance of correct files (readable metadata that matches from a work file in a non-working file).

    He seems to have no notable connection between the two files that will not open, nor the differences in the situation of these files for work files.

    Any help would be greaty appreciated.

    TDMS files are written in chuncks.  At the beginning of each chunck belongs to the human readable semi which is data such as channel names and groups, but contains no actual data.  Then follows the binary data.  The index is intended for all semi human readable file and any data.  This should make the reading of the file easier because the file offset and such are in the index file smaller.

    This being said if you have some sections corrupted in your DDHN file you can always get the data out of it.  There is a code floating around that pull each of the segments and find out what is the problem, then all allows you to get all the data before the wrong section.  This thread talking about it, and a short code displayed around page 3.

  • Somehow, I deleted my index.dat in the Cookies folder.

    Somehow, I deleted my index.dat in the Cookies folder.  How do I get it back and I really need?

    Hello

    • What was the location of the folder where you deleted it go?
    The index.dat file is a database file. This is a repository of information such as web URLS, search queries, and files recently opened. Its purpose is to allow quick access to the data used by Internet Explorer. For example, all visited web addresses are stored in the index.dat file, which allows to find quickly the AutoComplete match as long as the user types an Internet Explorer web address. The index.dat file is specific to the user and is open as long as a user is connected Windows. Separate index.dat files exist for the history, cache and cookies in Internet Explorer.
    The index.dat file is never resized or deleted. A large index.dat file can affect the performance.

    Note: The .dat extension is commonly used for data files (files that are not readable by humans and not to hold a binary based on documents). It is possible to find named "index.dat" files that are not used by Internet Explorer.
  • delete the printer driver by political group or batch script

    I am migrating our server F & P from 2003 to 2008.  I created all of the printers in server 2008 and tested, and they print correctly.  Test the issue I am running is this: I can add the printer Server 2008 for fine local workstation, but users are unable to print the new queue.  If I go ahead and deleted the printer and remove the driver completely and then add the printer on 2008 server works very well.  So, I'm looking for a way to remove printers and drivers of each workstation via Group Policy or batch scripts to make my life easier.  Thank you.

  • Problems with the debugger in Data Modeler Beta DDL Custom Transformation Scripts

    Hello

    I use Oracle SQL Data model Beta 4.1.0.866.

    Currently, I am working on a project to generate the models in PHP for our relational database models MVC framework. Some settings must be entered from the user,

    so, I'm importing Java classes for JOptionPane in the Transformation of the customized with DDL Scripts

    var ji = new JavaImporter(java.io, java.lang, javax.swing, java.util);

    I can use these classes with no problems, but when I want to use the debugger, it cancels the execution with this error message:

    debugger_data_modeler.PNG

    Is this a bug or am I missing something here?

    And would it not possible and even preferable to processing entirely in Java instead of JavaScript scripts?

    Hello

    Try it following the syntax:

    var ji = new JavaImporter(java.io, java.lang, Packages.javax.swing, java.util);

    And would it not possible and even preferable to processing entirely in Java instead of JavaScript scripts?

    Well, it's not on the use of JavaScript, it's scripts in Java Platform - JSR 223 https://www.jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=223

    So if you have a JSR 223 engine of script in the JAVA virtual machine you can use your scripting language. We simply provide a setting where you can put your scripts to do something useful.

    We don't know in advance what language will be used. JavaScript engine is included in Java6 and Java7 so this is the reason why our examples are in JavaScript.

    Using Java instead of JavaScript don't make the job easier, look at the part of import here - Re: impossible to cast objects in the Script SQL DM 4.0 Transformation

  • Enter name of the script in a transformation script?

    Is there a variable or a parameter that I can ask for the name of the transformation running script?  I'm updating the Notes section of any object that is changed due to a transformation.  I would like to add the name of the transformation to the message.  I can hardcode in every script, but if I change the name of the script, I'll need to remember to update the function too.  Obviously, it would be safer to take the name programmatically.

    Thank you!
