  • Windows Media Player 12 deletes the songs in library when I add missing album art

It is a question that I need answered about two weeks ago, but I just figured out how to fix it. Just go to your folder my music. Find the missing pieces of the library. Select all, right click and select Properties. Clear the hidden check box and click on apply and then OK. Select all the songs, right click and add all the songs in windows media. The songs should be added to the library soon. So if you encounter the same problem, I hope this helps you. I don't know if this is a bug or what, but it's annoying. It also deletes the songs with boxart.

Note: I've already deleted the database and rebuilt so no that will not solve the problem.

  • Delete the song from iTunes and record simultaneously?

    Hi all

I have a question. 2 years ago I think I duplicated my entire library by accident. I spent a whole while removing the hard disk songs that were double, but it is still like 4400 songs left.
Is there a way to delete a song on iTunes and at the same time from the hard drive also?

If so, I'd REALLY know haha.

    Thank you in advance,

    Gino

If the track that is being removed is located in the iTunes Media folder, then iTunes should offer to recycle. If the files are outside the folder of media then iTunes just removes the reference. See KillSelectedFiles for a script that can delete the underlying files regardless of the situation, but it might be better to use DeDuper to clean duplicates in case you managed to create multiple links to the same file. In both cases, the files must be attached to the library before they can be cleaned.

  • Why used the pc would I delete the songs of m USB?

I plug my USB and I opened the island usb and I want to delete some songs and when I right click delete it... the delete icon is not visible... Whats up with that?

What to delete on the keyboard? Worst case: record the songs you want from your PC. Right click on the drive letter for the USB drive and format. Who will wipe and you can drag the songs you want to get back to it.

  • Error when deleting the songs to the phone using wmp12

I use my phone android in USB mode. I can see all the songs in my phone in wmp 12. When I try to delete any song in my phone, I get the following error:

"Windows Media Player cannot delete a file from the device"
I use Windows 7 and windows media player 12.
For the screenshot, click here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wy4xum97k0mmsn6/WMP-Sync.PNG

I uninstalled WMP 12 and installed WMP 11. It worked like a charm. Seems that there is a bug in WMP 12.

If you google "downgrade wmp 12 to wmp 11", you will find a Web page and youtube video explaining the process.

  • How is it iTunes puts all the songs in the album with the same name now?

I'm trying to give my CD into my iTunes since I got a new computer.  I did a few times before without problem.  Most of my CD is the most successful.

So now I put in 'Tom Petty Greatest Hits' and 'Tim Mcgraw Greatest Hits', I would put the Tim Mcgraw songs would go into Tom Petty album since they are both titled "Greatest Hits".  While I have to manually delete the songs from the album that I just put in, change the name of the album and re import again so that they merge.

Why iTunes do all of a sudden? I never had a problem like this before.

If the Album artist fields are different, enemy iTunes actually treat it as the same album, but they appear together in some points of view and sort orders.

You do not have to re - import the CD. Right click on the Album, or al, it of titles, select information and change regardless of the fields you want. In your case the artist Album tag.

In iTunes > Preferences > General > automatically the CD track names recover from the Internet is checked on.

  • Music Apple removes the songs & ID Tags

    Dear community,

I have a problem with Apple music and my library on my Mac and iPhone! Apple music will remove the songs and lyrics and identification labels (side etc.). With "delete", I mean the following:

-delete the songs: next to the song the cloud is listed, even if the song has been downloaded.

-removed ID tags: for example: I note all my songs, but unfortunately all the stars disappear.

-remove the words: all added words are dissapeard.

What can do and why - what happened?

    Bye,.

    Mike

I don't know on the sides and others because I do not use music from Apple. You must realize that if the service finds there is a corresponding item in the iTunes Store for something you have on your Apple computer will use its own copy of the file which does not include your custom tags.  I think that the only way to work around this problem is to change the name and other identifying information about your tracks so Apple thinks it's something completely different and download your copy.  I don't know if this will include lyrics.

  • Double click in iTunes don't play the song.  Still next song plays.

    Hello

I have iTunes 12.3.3.17 on an iMac running 10.10.5 Yosemite.  I have a strange problem where in iTunes, I double-click on a particular song, but the next time song.  The next song played depends on whether or not I shuffle defined or not.  If shuffle is set, the next song is random.  If shuffle is not defined, then this is the next song in the album.  I can double click on any other song in any list, and it will play.  It's the only song that I found that will not play.  Still, it climbs to the next song.  I can be in a playlist.  I can be in 'my music '.  When I double-click on this song, always plays the next song.  A strange thing happened when I was downloading this album on the iTunes store.  My iMac has encountered an unexpected error and restarted itself.  When I logged in, things are although had downloaded all the songs.  But I'm running into this issue with this one song.  This is the first song in the album.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thank you very much.

    Hello Wilyd,

I understand that you have a problem with the first song on the album that you downloaded from the iTunes Store.  The best way to solve the problem is to remove the song and it download on the iTunes Store.  If the second attempt not only success, so I'll include a link to the iTunes Store Support team so that they could watch that particular file.   Here is the information you need:

  • How to remove all the songs in a playlist of my itunes library?

My request here is, is it possible that I can select all the pieces that I have selected in iTunes and delete all of these songs in my iTunes library. To clarify I'm asking not how to remove and individual songs or how to remove a playlist, I want the songs within a time to be gone, or deselected somehow.

Basically, I recently bought a new laptop and I've been moving all of my music from the old laptop to the new aid, sticks of memory of 8 GB that I don't have an external hardrive and would rather not pay for someone else to come and move the contents of my hard drive from one to the other. On my previous laptop, I had a playlist containing all the songs I want on my phone for synchronization purposes, as I had too much music to store it all. For reasons to keep this playlist and without having to build all over again I first transferred the music in the playlist of phone. The problem is I now want to transfer the songs that aren't in that playlist aswell, but I can't find anyway to select only the titles so that I can drag them into my memory stick. I can't delete the songs in the playlist one by one as there are almost 6000 titles in there then, obviously, that would be very time consuming.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give

I would recommend before you do anything destructive with your library you backup your iTunes for Windows with SyncToy library. It is also the tool I would recommend that you use to transfer the library to a computer, first back up and restore then (in a folder empty) to the other machine. Doing it this way means that you get the sides play heads of prosecution, playlists, date added, and that you don't have to erase and reload your content. It also ensures that you have a backup! Hard drives external are quite cheap and you should not skimp. That said, if the two computers are on the same network, you can use SyncToy to copy the iTunes folder from one to the other, if you open the folder music sharing on a computer, so it can be seen from the other.

As for the original question, Ctrl + A to select everything in a playlist. SHIFT-DELETE to remove it from the library. But I really wouldn't like that.

  • Removing duplicates, I usually have to remove the song duplicate twice to make it disappear. Why?

When you remove duplicate songs, I usually have to remove the song duplicate twice to make it disappear. Why?

When I delete the duplicate song it pops up again. When I erase it a second time he remains missing.   After the first removal, he reappeared with a little cloud in an arrow down. Once I have remove that she remains missing.

Is it possible that I can delete a song in one operation?

iTunes 12.3.3 on Mac Pro Tower

Looks like you have an iCloud music library, Subscribe to Match iTunes Apple music (or both).  The first time, you probably delete the local copy of the song file (stored on the storage of your computer).  But the song still in your iCloud library, so it appears in your list of music library with the cloud with the arrow symbol (which you can click to download it again).  You can still play the song streaming from iCloud.  The second time, you delete the song completely within your music to iCloud library.

You can see the distinction if you right click on a song (which is stored locally) in iTunes.  On the shortcut menu that appears, there are two separate, Remove Download and deletecommands.  Remove Download removes the local copy of the song file, but keeps the song in your music to iCloud libraryDelete deletes the song completely, with a single action.

  • Deletion of songs: iTunes and Google Drive a technical Question

I just moved my iTunes library on my Google Reader account so I can sync between my Mac and my PC. Everything is fine, but I just deleted some songs while on my PC. Now, I find these pieces and they still appear on my Mac, but of course when I try to read, it is said that they do not find. Is there anyway I can avoid showing them up on top of the unit in question at all after having deleted the songs? because the songs of the deletion of the library on the other device will get quite painful. What is a possible problem with a .itdb or incongruous .xml file? I don't know exactly how it works.

    Thank you

It only will do this automatically if you use a single copy of the iTunes Library.itl file.  Only one copy of iTunes can have that open at a time.  Basically, iTunes uses this file to tell him what needs to be in your collection of real media files.  If you have separate library files then it obviously not synced and remove one will delete the file and the reference in this library, but not to delete the reference to the file in the other.  I've never used Google Reader so I don't know how 'real' a player is and if iTunes could run using the library of files on it. I feel maybe little too erratic and slow, a connection for a satisfactory performance and I'm hanging off the coast of another decade or two before confidence cloud services.

  • Deletion of albums of my iTunes library also removes the songs from these albums of my playlists

Hello! I wonder if there is a way to delete albums of my iTunes library without removing songs from these albums of my playlists.

I take my playlists seriously enough (because I know others do too) and would not that they be tampered with. The songs I have in them that I'm here for a reason and a lot of these songs are single whole albums I've saved in my iTunes library. I just recently the desire to clean my library because he got rather crowded with reckless decisions, but I can't do it until I have a solution. I'm glad that I remembered that this might affect my playlists before any serious damage was done.

I still have to find a question like this or a setting that would allow me to do. Please help me if you have an idea of how to go on this subject! Thank you very much in advance

No, you cannot delete an album on iTunes and at the same time not delete tracks. You could potentially change the details of the track so that less albums appear in the library, but I'm reluctant to even suggest that he. Data are always more easily thrown only recovered later.

  • Some of the songs keep deleting playlists during the synchronization

Hi, I have a 2010 MacBook Pro running the latest OS and the latest version of iTunes and the iPhone OS. Whenever I make a playlist on a device, 5 or 6 individual songs to delete playlist. It's always the same songs. Anyone have any ideas?

    Hello danbigmacmeal!

I would definitely these songs able to stay within a playlist I have.  It is nice to receive these settings so.  We can check things with you.

If you haven't done so already, go ahead with the abandonment of the iTunes on Mac and music on the iPhone app.  iTunes > quit iTunes and the forcing an app forclose on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then restart the iPhone and MacBook Pro, please.   > restart on Mac and restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

Once this is done, we will try to add these songs playlist.  If they are always remove themselves, try clicking or tapping on each of the songs to see if they play normally on each device and let us know.

    See you soon!
