I've deleted the items on the list of the players media library already, but when I turn the list of items appears again, but I know that they are not there. What can I do to fix this? Thank you

Clear the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

1. exit Windows Media Player.

2. for Windows 7: click Start, run, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click on OK.

3. Select all the files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

Note you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

4. restart Windows Media Player.

Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

Method 2: If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

1. exit Windows Media Player.

2. If you are running Windows 7, click Start, run, % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.

3 select the folder Media Player, and then click delete on the file menu.

4. restart Windows Media Player.

  • How can I remove bookmarks on my toolbar when the "bluestar" is not turned on? (Ditto for the button 'delete' in the menu library).

    Dear Sir/Madam
I had a quick glance at your solutions page and have tried to use all of the tips suggested however, when I try to remove three items on toolbar, none of them illuminate the "BlueStar" located next to their address. (I got rid of other elements). I also tried to remove the Firefox menu library items, however, the button delete them is not on either. I'm now concerned that items are spyware. I thought to reinstall the software, but it would mean losing all my favorites.

For your information, I've just updated Firefox to 28.0.

I would appreciate your help with this matter.

    Kind regards

Good to hear! I think you should be able to use the trackpad however. I think I remember to make it work on Mac a friends (first one I've listed below, in this web page)-use two fingers and tap the trackpad. I think you might have to watch that you don't type it too lightly, or he doesn't know what you're trying to do.

On this second which says to use the CTRL, to my memory, the Mac is not that (it does now, maybe)... I think I had to use a different key that was downstairs left... Google Images, I see that there are four: fn, control, option, command... If the control key does not work, my next guess would be to use the option or command key. It's easy to see which experience.

If you press and hold the function key, and then regular - click on the bookmark you want to delete, isn't that bring up the contextual menu? It's rather than just giving the bookmark two fingers tap.

    • * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Use the tap two fingers on the trackpad, not a click, just a light tap with two fingers.

  • Songs deleted from the iTunes library still show on my device after synchronization

I updated my iTunes library and remove several songs.

after syncing my iPhone 5, deleted items still appear on my phone

want to do the same thing at mynipad, but I'm nervous about synchronization.

How can I make sure that the d delet songs are deleted from my device and make sure that all the other managed elements are correctly synchronized?

    Thank you

The following steps should solve the problems around the synchronization, assuming that all the content you want in your library.

(If it isn't see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device)

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

NB. A feature introduced with iOS 9 called thinning or slicing app app allows each device to download just the code and resources required by this device, resulting in smaller downloads and a better use of the storage on the device. Therefore the device is no longer the universal version of the application that can be installed on any device to transfer applications is no longer supported. I hope that Apple will bring some changes to how it works, but in the meantime, you can download past purchases from iTunes or activate the automatic shopping app downloads to ensure that iTunes has always the apps you want on your device. As long as you make sure that all of the apps are present and updates in iTunes before you attempt a restore there should be no loss of data. I cannot confirm, but it seems a way to recent update all data are restored and apps that are not in the library are waiting to download from the iTunes Store over Wi - Fi, in a similar way to the restoration of the iCloud way works.

    Hello

    1. is the specific issue of the reading list?

2 are you able to add other songs in the Windows Media Player library?

3 did you changes to the computer before the show?

The Player library is the location in the player that lists all of the music, videos and photos on your computer.

When you play a media file on your computer or a removable storage device, the file is automatically included in the Player library, so you can access it directly from the reader. And if you have access to remote media stored on other computers on your network, you can change the player settings to add those files remotely to the Player library when you play them. The reader does not automatically add a file that you play from removable media, such as a CD or DVD.

Since you aren't able to add songs to the library, you can try the following and see if they help.

They do not even play because I already deleted files from computer!

    Hello

1st solution of Tim De Baets:

"You probably need to reset the library to get rid of the files in the library. Note firstly reset the library will make you lose all play counts and ratings too. Then, follow these steps:

    -Restart the PC.
-Click Start, type services.msc in the search field and press ENTER. In Services, locate the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service . If its status is started , double-click the service, and then click stop .
-Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft in the search field and press ENTER. This folder opens in Windows Explorer.
-In this folder, rename the folder Media Player as Old Media Player . If you do not see the folder, then it is probably hidden. Set Explorer to view the hidden files and folders and show protected system files.
-Launch WMP, your library will have been reset and will be rebuilt. »

  • Media Player deletes all the songs that were added just for the external drive

I am using Windows 7 media player. I start the media player and my music list is empty.  Media Player begins to add songs to my portable media player. After adding songs it removes so all of the songs added.  What I can do to keep the songs is the library?

    Hello

    1. have you tried to play the songs of the external hard drive?
When you remove the external hard drive, you will lose the library of the media player library list, it's the design of the media player library and this is how it works in the location list monitoring.

However, if you want to keep the music files in the library even after having remove the external HARD drive, you do not delete the location in the location tracking list. You can add the location to avoid the problem.
