(I got rid of other elements). I also tried to remove the Firefox menu library items, however, the button delete them is not on either. I'm now concerned that items are spyware. I thought to reinstall the software, but it would mean losing all my favorites.

I think I remember to make it work on Mac a friends (first one I've listed below, in this web page)-use two fingers and tap the trackpad.
