  I want to authenticate all VPN Clients using the external RADIUS server.

  Can someone tell me how the "external" groups in the VPN3K are used?

  What are the necessary configs on the VPN3K and the external server, say the RADIUS.

  Any help is appreciated.

  Outside groups are to configure all the settings on a Radius Server, this isn't what you want by the sounds of it. If you simply want to have your users on the Radius Server, then configure the VPN3000 as Internal group, configure the options you want for it as usual, and then under IPSec tab change the Radius Authentication.

  All internal/external is somewhat confusing. you will notice that when you define an external group 99% of the configuration options for this group disappear. This is because the VPN3000 think you will now configure everything via a Radius server. You need a Radius server that supports it (the ACS is obviously a) and you then configurethe DNS server, WINS server, authentication, banner, split tunneling, etc., etc. on the Radius server via the Radius attributes.

  Most people just wanting to make the Radius of their user authentication are confused with this. Defining the VPN3000 group Internal means that all group settings (DNS, WINS, banner, etc.) are configured locally on the 3000 through the user interface. Configure Radius Authentication for this group, only to then assign to Radius Authentication option, nothing more. On the Radius Server, you just add the VPN3000 in as a SIN and then add the names of user and password.

• Help! Time Machine has deleted my external hard drive iPhotos to make room for backups. I lost my birth iPhotos and the first 2 years of my baby!

  I was told my someone from tech apple to my iPhotos on an external hard disk to make more space on my MacBook Air, which seemed to work fine. We also have this same external hard drive my Time Machine.

  I noticed a small box from time to time come and say something like, Time Machine is running out of space to record new data, you want to delete things until March 2013 etc. He asked me a few times and I said yes, all the way until June 2014. Now just disappeared in my iPhotos to find some pictures of my daughter when she was a baby (in 2012) and there is nothing there before 2014. I'm completely panic, is there something I can do?

• How can I restore favorites... accidentally deleted the external hard drive!

  I have recently reinstalled Windows and IE8, but before I did, I saved all my files on an external hard drive.  My computer upward and the race and then began to manually recover my files from my hard drive.  Thinking that I had recovered everything what I needed/wanted, I then deleted everything on my external hard drive.  Unfortunately, I forgot to copy my favorites on my computer!

  Is it possible that I can get back my (old) Favorites from a previous installation of WIndows on my computer?

  In addition, in recent days, I have placed thousands of files in the Recycle Bin and have deleted however, I've heard that the files that are deleted in a computer can be recovered, but I don't know how to do this.  My old favorites would be there somewhere?

  You can also to the above questions, Microsoft stores my old favorites anywhere in their system as my username/password?  If there is anyway to recover my old favorites, I of course would like to learn to do this, because at the moment, I have no basics!  Well sad really. I should have been paying attention to what I was doing!

  Once removed the HDD data can't be recovered. However, you can use your favorite search engine to browse third-party data recovery software and use this software to recover data.

  Note:   software use of third parties, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  I found a gross solution, since removing a group of an item identifier is not currently available. The steps are as follows:

  -Create a temporary group, call it TEMP

  -Display all the elements of the Group of the problem (OLDGROUP). Select all, but uncheck the items marked by mistake

  -Coat the subset of OLDGROUP TEMP

  -Check that TEMP contained correct

  -OLDGROUP to delete and rename the TEMP like OLDGROUP

  Need to vent: why Adobe ruin the system tag old, simple this mess with groups, etc.

• cannot delete an external hard drive. stuck to decrypt for hours

  I tried to erase and reuse a disk that was previously encrypted.  Disk utility tells me.

  Clear process failed:

  Dismounting drive, could not open the device. Operation failed... »

  I tried several suggestions from other threads, as drive reboot, restart computer, terminal commands.

  The the terminal commands that worked for others used sudo, but all that entered with sudo request my password, but then nothing that I type in the show even upward.

  Have deleted everything on the disc using the Finder, I receive a new empty file called System.

  Finally, I tried decrypting that happened for hours even if there is nothing else the file system to empty the disk.

  Any suggestions?

  I tried to respond to that to explain how it worked but it never published and there was a warning that "gray someone has been banned", I don't know what's happened since as I answered my same MacBook pro, but I'll try again.

  After 8 hours, I think that it finished finally decipher and I was able to use disk utility to erase.

  So in case anyone else has this problem, I suggest that you may need to wait several hours so he can decipher and then another? hours to encrypt again. I don't know how long because I fell asleep.

• Photos of deleted the external hard drive after updating Lightroom

  I just installed the new update.  Wish I had read some of the forums before hand.     Of the photos on external hard drive and I wanted to add them to the catalog.  After that I added to an existing catalog, I don't see pictures on the external hard drive.     If I click on the folder on the external drive, there is nothing in the folder.     If I unplug the external drive, I see the question mark by the photos.

  In addition, if I take the external hard drive and plug it into my laptop (Macbook Pro), Lightroom detects photos and does not watch the point mark.  However, I can not see the pictures on the external hard drive.

  Where can I watch, or how to find them.   This seems very odd.

  When to disconnect the drive and click on ""?, "it shows the external drive as the previous location."

  Where to plug the hard drive and search using the finder, that nothing is found.

  When I connect the drive, Lightroom see files and works normally.

  Lightroom sees the files if the external hard drive is connected which leads me to believe that they are still on the drive.    However, they are able to access by Lightroom.  I see nothing in the files on the external hard drive.

  This really baffled me.

  Very simple - works well - except SWFs unload properly, so the video in the external swf continues to play back plan when a new swf file has been loaded.

  Can someone give me an idea of the best way to solve the problem please?

  When I try to delete a NDG I tells me "this node cannot remove because it contains devices or subgroups.

  When I search in the peripheral topic network no devices are part of the group, and it has no sub-groups in this group.

  Hi Brian,.

  If you have checked everything regarding the configuration and we are still not able to remove the NDG group.

  In this scenario, that the problem is although the n group is not referenced for an any Nagels when we try to delete the n group, it will throw an error "this node cannot remove because it contains devices or subgroups.

  The reason for this problem is that previously when n use this group of n, and if we reference out of this group of n, "dereferenced" information only are not updated in the database table and thus causing the issue when deleting GUI. He still thinks as if it has references.

  You may need to open a TAC case for this because it will be access to the SQL DB of the ISE and you don't have access to him.
