Dell C1765NFW won't work if returned to sleep deep and on

After looking around the forum, this seems to be a constant problem on different printers, city mine

I have the printer connected via the network running on a server, it connected fine, my problem is that it goes in his deep sleep it does not print even though I turn it back on by pressing the button menu etc, the only way it will reconnect is if I turn it works again.

I've updated to the latest firmware on the dell Web site and have the latest drivers, we know how to fix this bug

see you soon

Only, I contacted Dell because my fax didn't work on my C1765NFW.  If the tech had me do the reset to solve the problem related to the fax... following and question IT CURED THE SLEEP/wake UP too.  Hope this helps someone else, as it has done for my machine:

1. turn off the printer.

2. turn running all by pressing the left, right and Menu keys.

3. release the keys when "This Mode" and "Password" appears.

4. press arrow up twice and press Select (or box).

5. "this Mode", "Printer", and "FAX/Scanner" appear. (Entered in CE Diag mode..)

6. press Select (check) "printer".

7. Press down to "IOT Diag" and press Check.

8. Press down "Set of Installation" and press on check.

9. Press down to 'clear all NVM '.

10. press Select (checkmark) twice to run the test.

11 power cycle the printer back to the normal operating mode. (this should occur automatically)

Once this is done, you must give your basic settings (language, time zone, telephone number and fax name, etc.).  But it's a MINOR inconvenience.  My machine now works like new!

I hope it works for you.  Good luck!
