  The OEM key on the side of your Tower will not work with the XP cd to retail. You need a manufacturer OEM copy such as comes with some Dell, gateway machines.

  Inspiron 1525 (6/2008) hard drive failed.    Bought a Western Digital spare hard drive 500G (WD Blue) SATA III 5400 RPM.   (NOTE: this is the 2nd replacement hard drive because I bought the 1525... the first time I replaced the hard drive, everything worked as it should.) Original hard drive was a Seagate).

  Replacement hard drive installation is installed it will not load the Vista OS from the disk to the operating system (which came with the laptop) because it does not recognize the driver for the hard disk.

  I tried downloading the latest drivers from the Dell site, but which did not work or the other.

  As I said, the previous hard drive replacement (an another western digital) works perfectly when I reinstalled the Vista operating system in 2010.

  Thanks for the detailed instructions.   I tried everything, but it didn't work.

  Then I read about someone trying to install the same on an Inspiron 1545 hard drive and need to adjust the drive to align with the connectors using paper and another person was using the foil which made me realize that it was a problem of 'size' or 'worthy '. I then decided to open the laptop and manually set the new drive in place and everything works now. (Dell 1525 has a side load drive holder therefore had to open to make this setting correctly).  The player on the 1525 is 9.5 mm thick, but the new disc is 7 mm... even though the sales page for this player said he would fit a 9.5 mm slot.

  Everything is good now.

  Finally got a blackberry case, it's the only thing sprint has that synchronizes with my mac.  I already love this phone in every way except one.

  My plantronics headset travel stereo bluetooth (with a2dp and avrcp profiles that correspond to the phone) does not work when you listen to the music/tv/video. He worked very well with my motorola and samsung phones, so I don't want to give it up.  Plantronics tells me that the device should work with this phone model. The whole is described on crackberry as compatible.  I can have conversations on the headset in stereo, but no matter what settings I have change / disconnect the battery / re-pair of headphones I still can't make it work. Is there a setting I can change in the phone other than encryption that will solve this problem? Sprint could not help me.   I hope you can, so I do not get this phone.

  Well, I love my blackberry even more now... In more recent versions of Pandora, Slacker, Radio Companion, etc., you can go into the options and select bluetooth or turn on bluetooth in the context menu.  This did not work very well in previous versions or did not even exist in Pandora.  I continued to try newer versions and now all three programs I tried to work reliable with bluetooth stereo.  So I left my blackberry on the other side of the gym until I realize he had disappeared and he has not yet cut.  Hoping soon too SprinTV updated!  Thank you for we hear on RIM HERE!   Sounds like a problem of power plan. Go to control panel, select Power Options, when it opens go to the left menu and select choose when to turn off the display (set time). Go to the rear and in the left menu select change when the computer sleeps (set time).

  Make sure you save your changes. You can also consider the creation of a custom power plan to formalize what you just did.

  Check if your bluetooth is listed in Device Manager .
  If it is not, you see any exclaimation mark on this subject?
  The first step I would have you to do is to run the Hardware Troubleshooter .
   
  Step 2:
  Because the Dell 365 bluetooth adapter requires no additional software after the upgrade to Windows 7 (it should do this automatically). In the event that it fails to update itself automatically, I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the bluetooth card.
   
  Uninstall the bluetooth device manager card drivers and reinstall the same.
