  The A210 is old. Drivers are moved to * archives * e box.

  So in + product + type (first option) you can choose * archives * instead of laptop!

  I tried to replace my keyboard with a new (no problem, I could order it) on a Satellite Pro 2100.

  Unfortunately the keyboard "cable" must be plugged into the motherboard using a little white girl 'thing' to keep the cable attached to the motherboard.

  I think you mean the PJ11 connector.
  This PJ11 is placed on the motherboard and the flat keyboard cable must be connected to this connector.
  I m not 100% sure but I think the PJ11 is mounted on the Board and I wonder how someone can lose it.

• Need advice on the Satellite Pro M40

  I wonder if someone could advise me. We just bought 8 smart tips for our school with these I ordered 8 portable computers SatProM40. When I ordered them I checked the spec as follows

  Toshiba SatProM40 - Celeron M360 1.4 GHz - RAM 256 MB - HD 40 GB-CD RW/DVD-ROM combo - Mdm - Lan EN - FAST EN - Win XP Pro - 15.4 "TFT.

  I checked before I ordered that the RAM was 256 because I had heard that it is the minimum recommended to switch to XP.

  Laptops take almost 5 minutes to turn on and everything takes an age to work it's really frustrating and they are totally useless for our school because the entire lesson is included with get the computers to run anything.

  I checked the system information and found laptops were running of 192 MB RAM and rang the provider. I was told that they used 64 MB for the graphics card and that's why they had provided a RAM of 256 MB computer.

  My question to someone who can help:-c' is a normal practice. If I had known this I would have ordered a laptop computer with more RAM to compensate.

  He would welcome any advice that would help us get our children working on their new computers. Thank you.

  In my view, Satellite Pro M40 is nice unit for school work, but I agree with you really is 256 MB minimum RAM and I recommend you buy more 256 MB or 512 MB, depending on your budget.

  The compatible RAM modules are:
  PC2700 256 MB (PA3311U - 2M 25)
  PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 2M 51)

  Problem is that this device uses shared memory and that means that RAM will be used also for graphic designers. If there is someone who has a good knowledge of PC that they check all running processes. Many of them are unnecessary and can be disabled. I also noticed that preinstalled Antivir asks (Norton) slow OS quickly. If all units are not connected to the internet I recommend you to remove it.
  By the way: there are many applications of good antivir which works well and don't slow down the operating system currently running.

  I recommend checking and trying to install these drivers on your laptop model.
  In most cases, these drivers should work too.

  My Satellite Pro L500 plays! Device Manager tells me I have problems (where I write on a different laptop).

  I will list what are the problems, and I hope someone can tell me that I might need drivers.

  (a) PTL Realtek 8101 Family PCI - E Fast Ethernet NIC (DDIS60). He asks for the installation disc. I don't have one with the laptop, I don't have a restore disc, I did. Will it be OK?

  (c) not configured correctly (code 1) Controller network.

  These words are just as they appear when I click the yellow triangle.

  Restore disc can't be used because the use of the disc, you can reinstall the whole OS only. It is not possible to use it for some drivers to install.

  Satellite A200/QH0 PSAF3A-0QH01N has been published in Australia, but unfortunately, I could not find the drivers for the old A200 series on Australian pilot site...
  But the A200 series came out in Europe too.

  It was really slow and crashing regularly so I reinstalled windows XP by using a copy of XP I had round lie and the license key at the back of the laptop.

  Note: there are various different manufacturers Intel, Atheros WLan drivers, etc.

  PCI modem-> you need driver modem.

  PS: don't forget that the SP3 of XP Win is installed too.

  My M30 ran slow and boring and carrying a bunch of old garbage files so I decided to reinstall Windows XP Media Center and replace all previous data - not upgraded. Now, I'm trying to find the drivers for it.

  Got the screen those but the network controller seems to be hard to get and install the required software. There is also an unknown device in Device Manager that requires drivers apparently but I na? t know what it is. Got the controller network and Modem left - but never use the modem, so just looking for the network controller.

  On this site you should find the drivers for Windows XP.
  The WinXP MCE should use the same drivers.
