DELL INSPIRON N5050 STARTUP FAILURE WITH CODE STATUS 0XC000000F

Turn on the laptop, pass the dell logo. Then, it goes into a strange screen:

Windows Boot Manager

Windows could not start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. to solve the problem:

1. Insert your windows installation disc, and then restart your computer.

2. choose your language settings, and then click "next".

3. click on "repair your computer".

If you do not have the disk, contact your computer manufacture or to help system administrator

status: 0xc000000f

Info: the boot selection failed because a required device is accessible.

I tried every option after I pressed F2, F8 and F12. It does not work, all find themselves with the sameinformation.

I have a very important project in my laptop. I need my system to the top ASAP.is it a simple solution for this problem. My guess is that I need an insta

set disk from dell and I think that it does not guarantee recovery. I don't know how much it will cost to get the laptop disc.my is just out of warranty(5/1/2013). I asked once for a dell installation disk when it is still under warranty, but dell never give to me.it is too disappointed. Someone here can help me with this question or make me a free as soon as POSSIBLE installation disc. If dell is unable to solve this problem, I swear to God, I will not buy any dell product.

Hi jessonchien

I suggest to check the system into safe mode with networking, follow the listed below as follows:

  • Restart the computer.
  • Press on during startup until the Windows Advanced Options menu appears.
  • Press with networking Safe Mode is highlighted, and press .

In the issue persist in safe mode so would run you dell diagnostics running on the system, press to the initial Dell logo screen, then select Diagnostics from the boot menu.

  • Downgrade from Vista to XP Pro Dell Inspiron 6400: no sound, error Code 10

Downgraded from Vista to XP Pro (V. 2002) on my Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop.  Have installed Service Pack 3.

Audio will not play (I get beeps of warning system but that's all, there isn't a problem with the hardware).

In Device Manager, there is a yellow exclamation by the "IDT High Definition Audio Codec" under sound, video and game controllers.

    Dxdiag shows NO device installed.

NO device does appear as installed anywhere.

I tried the updated drivers, did NOT work.  Get the error code 10.

Automated fix - it doesn't include troubleshooting for audio.

    Does anyone have a solution?

  • Upgrade a Dell Inspiron 531 to something with more memory and faster?

Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 531, 32-bit operating system, and the 3G memory in it but is Vista. I tried to upgrade to Windows 7, but after many attempts, could not go without having to clear everything and start over. So I'd do it if I have to do I was wondering if I could make the machine that is more memory better and faster, without having to buy a new computer say a Dell XPS 8300 (that I'll have to run a lot of photographic software in the future and I understand that this could be a good computer for that?) In any case, it is possible to 'upgrade' the computer something like this please, or I have to save my pennies for a new? Thank in advance for your advice.)

    Hello

If you upgraded to 4GBs off RAM you won't get many benefits

Here is an article on what is happening with 4GBs of RAM:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929605

"If a computer has many features implemented, the available memory can be reduced to 3 GB or less." However, the maximum memory available in 32-bit versions of Windows Vista is typically 3.12 GB. »

and you should also consult the Dell manual for your model desktop computer see what amount of RAM your motherboard would answer anyway

    http://support.Dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/my_systems_info/manuals?c=us&l=en&s=Gen& ~ CK = anavml

and here is the reason why you can not upgrade to Windows 7

There are no Windows 7 drivers written for her by Dell

  • Dell Inspiron 15 5000 came with Dell Webcam Central.

    Hello

My Inspiron 15 5000 came with Dell Webcam Central preinstalled as it should. I checked my Dell downloads, but it is not there on the list of downloadable software.

Anyone know how can I get Webcam Central?

    Thank you.

    Hi mm132,

If you have recently purchased the system and assuming it came with windows 10. The camera in the startmenu application is a substitute for the central webcam, except if specified in the order. If the Native windows application does not all the functions of the Central webcam, it's the native application in windows 10

  • New laptop (Dell Inspiron 14 5000 series) with really bad internet

Hi, I bought a couple of new portable weeks. the laptop as you can tell by the title is a dell inspiron 14 5000 series. It includes the pilot is an Intel processor dual band wireless - 3160 AC. The problem I have is that the internet is very slow. I get 1 Mbps when I'm in my room, but when I stand right next to the router, I get my normal Mbps which is 20 Mbps. I did some research on the resolution of this issue and the most common responses I got of to get a wired connection (if I do that, I might as well have a pc) and download the new driver (2 x 2). I also changed my HT Mode for people with reduced mobility that works, but the internet connection is really bad (5 Mbps). Now my action is to obtain a new driver, but just to be sure there is a way to fix my internet connection?

I know this isn't the internet from the internet on the other laptops work perfectly fine. And I'll be back on the laptop but unfortunately my 2 weeks are up.

Return the machine if you can.

The problem you are having is a common feature of this series of machines from Dell. Dell staff does not recognize the problem and no solution is guaranteed. Just search the forum for yourself.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

You will be able to install Windows Xp on your computer, but you will need to perform a clean installation.

Before installing Windows XP. And also, you will have to take up the data in your computer, because the new facility will remove all data into the computer.

Download the driver from the support of dell at the following link:

My Inspiron 1520 HDD son dropped out and if a replacement is relatively expensive, the machine was not supplied with all CD media if do not have a Windows XP disc to reinstall the operating system.  In addition, the windows sticker product key seems to have been placed in a hot spot on the base of the laptop and is unreadable, any suggestions on how I can re - install XP from a generic disk?

Unfortunately, this o ly applies to the United States and I live in England.  Talk with the Support technique Dell this morning and bought a replacement HARD drive, while it was more slightly more expensive that buying direct of ironmongers, Dell included delivery the next day and offered to throw in replacement XP media and specific hardware for free driver.
