Restore Windows 7 on my new Dell Inspiron N5050

Just got a new laptop Dell Inspiron N5050.

It uses about 3 weeks and love it.

Pop - up invited me to Windows Update. Clicked on Yes.

Update was underway, I accidentally turned it off.

Now, it starts, but moments after, he goes to the Blue Screen of Death and, before I can even read the blue screen, it goes to black screen and asked how I would like to start - Normal startup - SafeMode - Safe Mode with guests, etc.

So I want to restore to an earlier time or just restore at the beginning (factory settings).

I can do this in one of the options on the black start screen?

Dear Sir.

After turning on my laptop, displays the following message.

A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

Hello! I recently bought a new Dell Inspiron N5110 with NoOS. Now, I am trying to install Windows 7 Professional x 64 on it from a USB. I made this a hundred times, but now I'm stuck with a problem. After the beginning of the installation it shows me a message:

A required CD/DVD device driver is missing. I f you have a driver disk, CD/DVD or player of the USN, please insert it now.

I tried to google for answers to this problem, the only thing I found is that the laptop does not all SATA drivers installed and asks me to install some. However, I can't figure out how to do this. The system doesn't see another Flash DRIVE with drivers on this subject and if I copy the drivers to the root of the USB which I am startup also fails to find the drivers.
How can I solve my problem? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

  • Old software (2004) can be loaded on a new Dell Inspiron?

I bought a new Dell Inspiron 660.  Can I load and use any software from my old Dell (2004)? Winamp 2004; Canon MP530 printer. Seagate Manager 2011; Outlook Express 2004

Outlook Express is a 'no '.  This is part of Windows XP.  You better to choose a new e-mail client/application.

WinAMP is a freeware third party - Yes.

Seagate Manager likely came with your external hard drive?  This is the third part freeware also - Yes.

Your printer from Canon ("n")... Depends on the manufacturer of the device for it's support in your new operating system.  Likely Windows 7.  From the link in this paragraph - it seems they have drivers for Windows 7 and Windows 7 64 - bit - so which resembles a Yes as well.

  • My speakers Altec Lansing ADA745 will work with my 530 s the new Dell Inspiron PC?

My speakers Altec Lansing ADA745 will work with my 530 s the new Dell Inspiron PC?

I watched updates of the audio driver for my pc and am not sure which one I need or you can even use it.

Although "4.1" speaker systems are very common, the ADA745 should work without problems on a new system.  I have no connection to the ADA745 info but I guess it would connect everything as you are currently connected to the old PC.  New systems PC audio supports up to 7.1 speaker (with the most common 2.1 or 5.1) systems.  There is no drivers for speakers, however, you need to define the types of speakers in the control panel (e.g. article 4.1, and if this isn't an option, try the 5.1 and see if works well).   Printed with the new PC installation worksheet should detail the audio connections and if not, there is a copy of the Dell manual loaded on your PC and it has the details on the back panel connections.

In Vista, the sound control panel is accessible by Start/Control Panel/hardware and sound/Sound.

  • How can I disable a scrollbar on my new Dell Inspiron w/Win 7.

On my Dell Inspiron N5050 using the touchpad I put the pointer over the scroll bar on the Web im viewing page.  I double touch to catch the trail of bar... then to the bottom of the page, when I shoot pointer drop the bar to select a link, or whatever and I propose, for example, left on the scroll bar with the pointer, the page immediately rises to the top.  I want to take the pointer off the scroll bar without her to do this, you must double tap again on it to exit this mode.  My laptop (MX6453) gateway win XP never had this type of problem when using the touchpad for dragging a scroll bar in Explorer windows or internet explore.   Please tell me how to disable this property.  I noticed that when I drag the scroll bar by using the left button to enter, and then drag the bar using a finger on the button to scroll, the pointer is not stayed vertically attached to it in a virtual sense... and I could pass the pointer over the scroll to the part of the page bar I wanted to put the pointer on when I release the button that I leave the bar, and it is very natural.  Sometimes it is nice to be able to use the touch pad to drag and without the scroll buttons, but it sucks when you have to double tap down the scroll bar in the virtual sense.  Am I the only one who has this annoying problem?

    Hello

    1. doesn't this problem occurs only with the particular application or other applications?

2 did you change on your computer?

You can follow the steps below and check if it helps to turn off the touchpad scrolling feature.

    (a) click Start and click on Control Panel.

    (b) in the control panel select display small iconsor large icons.

    (c) click on mouse and navigate to the following location: device settings > Synaptic touchpad > settings > virtual scrolling > uncheck "enable vertical scrolling" option.

    (d) check if it helps you to disable the touchpad scrolling.

If the steps above do not help, you may need to contact dell support to check if they have any parameters or function keys to disable the touchpad scrolling feature.

  • White veil and freeze ups on Windows 7 64 bit (new Dell laptop)

Why am I the white veil and freeze ups on Windows 7 64 bit (new Dell laptop)? It happens on two identical machines. They have both been back at least three times at the shop. One looks a bit better, the other not.

If you say in Device Manager there are yellow warnings that it would usually be due to a problem with the chipset or usb drivers.

If you're telling the problem is only with the particular usb ports it may be related to internal wiring/connections, and if yes is not user serviceable

  • Black screen after Windows Update 8.1 in Dell Inspiron 15R 5537

    Hi guys,.

Hello, I have updated my Dell Inspiron 15R laptop 5537 Windows 8 Pro to Windows Pro 8.1 by using the Application Store.

After a wait of nearly 6 hours, update has been made and after the installation of Windows, display was black, cursor blinking... I checked in the Microsoft Web site, and I found that not only me and a lot of Dell customers are facing the same question. I luckily managed to start in safe mode and I uninstalled both of my video drivers and I'm back to my windows 8.1. After that I updated my video drivers as shown in the link below, always my screen turns off. If I had no other choice than the reset my pc to windows 8 pro.

    Driver video link: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/inspiron-15r-5537?driverId=PWTRP&osCode=W864&fileId=3287401962&languageCode=en&categoryId=VI

When I was checking for the latest version of the driver for Intel Graphics & AMD Radeon that supports windows 8.1, I am able to find a driver on the dell Web site.

http://www.Dell.com/support/drivers/SG/en/sgdhs1/DriverDetails/product/Inspiron-17R-5737?driverId=6GGGM why it is not being updated in the list of corresponding product drivers... In fact I think that it is the fix. I'm not sure.

If one has updated and I need technical support dell for this

    Hi guys,.

After much research, I understand that is the problem because of the Intel video driver. There is a beta Intel video driver package that supports Windows 8.1. Try this update package and display your results. As I've already restored to windows 8. It will take at least 4 to 6 hours to update me the State. The link below is for Dell Inspiron 15R 5537 model.

http://FTP.Dell.com/published/pages/Inspiron-15R-5537.html and install Intel HD Graphics Driver ver 10.18.10.3308 4400. You must follow the link because this driver is not yet downloaded in Dell drivers & downloads (referred in Dell Post)

  • MY NEW DELL INSPIRON - FIRST INSTALLATION IS NOT WELL

    Hello

Can someone help me with this. When I opened my new laptop Dell Inspiron 15, Windows 8 and it works, the game started process but between the laptop closed without notice and when I started it again, the office appeared (strange for me). no icons on the desktop except ebay and recycle bin. When I tried to access "my documents", "My pictures", a window pops up saying cannot open and you can delete the folders! I don't know what to do.

Is there anyway that I can get to make the configuration more smoothly? Help, please!

Because this computer is new, you must contact support directly. You have a limited time to return the computer for an Exchange, if necessary. Computers should work right out of the box.

  • Windows 8 upgrade fails on Dell Inspiron mini 10.

Dell Inspiron mini 10 (1011) N240 Atom clocked at 1.6 Ghz with 2 GB of RAM with XP running. Compatible check was ok. Obtained through almost all of the upgrade (60 + minutes there included verification of the Wi - Fi when the error flashes this upgrade has failed and restart the upgrade.) Fortunately, it automatically restored configuration to XP without any problem. Is there a solution? Understand that the netbooks run faster on Windows XP 8.

I'm having the same problem, the screen resolution goes up to 1024 x 600 fortunately but need 768 for Metro apps to work, which includes the installation of finishing and actually pay for it. Running Build 8600 overview.

Dell won't do a driver which is really annoying, if they did I would pay full Windows 8 and upgrade the parts of my PC which are downgraded myself.
  • New Dell Inspiron 1764: Problems with signal low connection to wireless networks.

I have a new laptop Dell Inspiron 1764 I received on 25 June. It is "replace" a Dell Inspiron 9100, who has learned to be too slow and too bulky for my needs. For the purposes of support, the two laptops are running on Windows 7.

Overall, I love my new Inspiron 1764. However, I noticed the connection/signal strength seriously degraded, with wireless (Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini card) card, compared to my Inspiron 9100 (Dell Wireless 1350 WLAN Mini-PCI card).

In areas of my home that my 9100 can obtain the power of the complete signal (5 bars), my new 1764 bars 2 or less. This behavior is not as limited to only my house as I have tested in my work and in an area of less than 10 feet away from the wireless router, I have 'Internet connectivity problems.

I tried twice this morning talk with Dell technical support. The first person I talked to tried to be helpful and initiated at least a DellConnect session with me so that he can check out some of my settings and such (However, why they went twice in my sharing settings I could not determine as they have absolutely nothing to do with the intensity of the signal).

Unfortunately, I was disconnected from the session when I went to a place that had less signal than just next to my wireless router.

I then go on the chat support with Dell and received another technician to speak with. I explained my problem, told them that I was in a DellConnect session with the other technician, and they looked to the top of my support contract.

They then told me that my warranty does not cover software issues and referred me to the software Department and said it would be a supplement. I told them that I did not believe that it is a problem of software in any way, shape, or form. They told me that it must be a matter of adjustment. I spent several hours scouring the internet forums on Dell and other sites check those who have had similar problems. Some of their questions were certainly the software settings, but I still don't yet to find anything that tells me I have an incorrect setting of software.

So far, I'm standing in my kitchen, tapping on my Inspiron 9100 with a full 5 bars, while my Inspiron 1764 is sitting next to me with a skinny 2 bars, and I am literally standing 7 feet above the room which houses my Linksys WRTU54G-TM router.

Personally, I suspect a faulty wireless card, but how to convince Dell to hear my case and replace it instead of trying to bilk me for support of useless software?

I hope Dell Tech Support bed actually this post, or people with the same problem can Dell refer to my previous post describing the problem and the fix.

It IS a PROBLEM of MATERIAL WITH the ANTENNA, AND VERY PROBABLY THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN a DECK CONNECTION at the ANTENNA of the PLATE, from connections TAPE FOIL INDIVIDUAL at the ANTENNA of the PLATE, THAT DELL MUST HAVE RESPONSE BETWEEN WHAT MINE PORTABLE has BEEN CARRIED OUT AND THE SPARE ROOM WAS MADE. THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOFTWARE, PROVIDER OR ROUTER, IT IS THE PLASTIC WITH THE ANTENNA CASE!

Dell is in fact losing more money with the hours of technical support through software patches and sending technicians with new wireless cards that does not solve the problem. They need to send and replace the plastic case behind the LCD screen with the updating of antenna and connections.

    Good luck!
