Dell Latitude D600 WiFi works only on Windows 7

I just installed Windows 7 on my Dell Latitude D600. I have the drivers, I used to use to get the wifi to work, but they decompress correctly now. How can I fix it?

  • WIFI works only under Windows XP on Satellite U400

After the installation of Windows XP on my WLAN the U400 recovery is not found. It was working correctly under Win Vista.
There is no module listed in Device Manager - once the new hardware search gave no results. It seems that the WLAN Interface is not recognized by Win XP.

The Communication switch at the front was 'ON' - bluetooth works properly.

It's amazing to me usually the XP should see and recognize the device inserted as an unknown device, if a driver has not been installed.

But you're right. It looks like the U400 should be equipped with the Realtek 802.11(b/g) 13ch-RTL8187B Wlan card

Have you tried the driver from the Web to Realtek site?

  • Satellite C650D-113 - driver WiFi works only on Windows XP

But the "wireless network connection" icon which is supposed to appear in the network connections folder does not appear and this is where I am stuck.

Or maybe it wasn't the driver, downloaded and installed the wireless lan client Manager because there is no specific "wifi driver" to download.

Do not forget that you have installed the wlan driver for your model:

I don't know anything about your model, but on my knees, I have to press Fn + F8 to activate the wifi. So, check if you have to press this key combination.

I have a dell latitude d600. I use proset/wireless wifi intell. I want to spend to 87112 wzc. How can I do this

    original title: 871122 wzc help
    Hello!
I made a goof my wireless configuration to try to resolve a bad connection to the local network at home.  This response of Amnah_95 solved problem by following the instructions and a reboot.  Thanks Amnah_95.
I think you've got the third-party software installed on your laptop to configure the wireless adapter. Third-party software seems to have disabled the Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) Microsoft service. You will need to reactivate it.

Follow the steps below to activate the automatic configuration on your laptop.

    1. Click Start, click Run, type % SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc/s, and then click OK.

    2. double-click on Wireless Zero Configuration.

    3. in the startup type list, click Automatic, and then clickApply.

    4. in the Service status area, click Start, and then click OK.

Software configuration of certain wireless adapters removes the automatic configuration service. If this is the case, you can try this fix by changing the registry value.

WARNING: Editing the registry can be dangerous, use it at your own risk.

    1. click on start - run and type reg. And then click OK.

    2. browse this registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE es\WZCSVC

    3. next, create a DWORD value and name it 'Start' and set it to 2.

  • Dell Latitude D600 display flashing (horizontal lines randomly)

    Hi all.

I have a Dell Latitude D600 and at random times display signal with horizontal lines. I can sometimes it agitate gently turning the LCD and it, wavers. I did some research before and thought that the problem would be the video cable of flex, which I ordered and installed, but it still flashes. The LCD looks aesthetically perfect, but also of the inverter. The backlight of the display is not flickering, rather there are white lines that flicker at random, so I don't think it is the inverter.

I hung it via VGA to an external machine and only laptop suffered the flick so I think that the graphics card is fine.

Here is a video on what I'm talking about.

I replaced the LCD and the power inverter (low priced together) and the screen flashes is no longer.

  • Windows 8 Dell Latitude without WiFi

I own a Dell Latitude ST tablet that I've upgraded to Windows 7 8, since this my laptop cannot find wireless networks to connect to the internet and the arrival in front of my load down to win 8, I tried everything and the Wi - Fi works as I'm running the other laptop from him. According to Dell support site http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/latitude-st> Win7 32-bit is the latest OS, it has drivers for. You may be able to install in Compatibility Mode. Download on another PC, copy on a USB key, then your tablet.

  • Dell Latitude Tablet: Error Code: 0xc0000034 in Windows 8 - data file for Boot Configuration missing required information

    Hello

I compressed latitude 10 Dell with Windows 8 and the Intel Atom processor.

After hibernation, when I tried to start the Tablet, I received this error message only after no previous problems for the last 15 months.

It is said to use the Windows installation disc or a USB stick, which are not provided with the tablet. I don't even have the windows product key, because, as directed by Dell, the key is injected into the Tablet, and if necessary to check, it's done automatically.

The system had all the recent updates and was fully charged when this happened.

Please advice any option to solve this problem. Help, please.

    Ross

    Hey Ross,

This error may be fixed by the repair or reconstruction of the Data of Configuration startup (BCD) store. However, this can be done with the help of installation of Windows 8 media.

Here we have an OEM of Windows 8 pre-installed on your Dell Latitude 10 Tablet version. So, we have not the installation of Windows 8 media or product key. The best approach to work on this issue is therefore, contact Dell Technical Support for assistance.

You can get in touch with Technical Support from Dell from the link below:

    Hope it will be useful.

  • Intel Wimax 5350 works only with windows 7/t400

As someone who uses the Server 2008 on my desktop, when I received my t400 a few days ago I hesitated at the idea of using vista.  so I decided to download and install windows 7 64-bit (Vista 32 bit... I did an install own good... I think).  I haven't heard of anyone having problems with the drivers wireless in windows 7 and, indeed, intel States on their site that windows 7 will automatically install the drivers for the card 5350 wireless.

Unfortunately, during the installation of windows 7 was complete the drivers were not installed and I don't have access to the internet.  I therefore had to take my Office Wireless usb adapter, then plug it to access the internet.  Windows Update has not fixed the problem.  so I installed the visa of intel 64-bit drivers and windows told me that my wimax device has been recognized, the drivers have been installed, etc.

except the wireless card still does not work!  He is currently under listening network cards as area network/2 connection cable unplugged/intel wimax link 5350.  I do not understand... should not it listed as being a wireless network connect as is my usb adapter?

I think that the problem might be that in Device Manager, I don't have a driver for the controller network, serial port pci or pci simple communications controller.

It is quite frustrating and I really regret not putting more thought in this installation of windows 7.

    Thanks for the help

    I have a T400 with 5350 Intel and Windows 7 x 64, I downloaded and installed the

Intel® utility connection WiMAX PROSet/Wireless for Windows Vista * 64-bit (9206KB) from the Web site below.

Furthermore, my "Intel(r) WiFi Link 5350' and ' Intel WiMAX Link 5350" listed in the "Network adapters" category, I have not any category 'Wireless Network Connect' at all. "

    I hope this helps!
