  I read a few articles about deploying ADF applications and they found it useful. Most of them are not suitable for ADF 11g developed lettering. I developed a demo application using Jdev Studio ver 12.1.3.0.0 by installing the WebLogic Server. This application must now be deployed on another node on a remote and built-in Server with EBS. References user interface developed stored procedures using IDE connect to Oracle DB. The remote server has the SDK for Java installed and a DATA SOURCE has been defined by the administrator.

  I tried to follow the steps explained in the URL that follows, but in vain. I could not find server Navigation Application. How-to: ADF Deployment Guide

  Could someone please help me understand the modalities of deployment of this application developed on my laptop on a remote server? Your valuable contribution is appreciated.

  12.1.3 JDeveloper / WLS 12.1.3 / Windows 7 64-bit OS.

  I am facing the problem that is mentioned in the following post.

  I created a simple ADF page with the data to display in the Employees table. The page works fine.

  I added a custom method to the AM and a profile of "Business Service Interface components" deployment of the AOS.

  When I'm trying to deploy the stand-alone WLS Service, it gives the error below.

  If I deploy only the AM Service interface, the web service deployment is going very well.

  If I cancel the deployment of the AM Service and deploy ADF EAR, then it also works very well.

  But if I deploy the AM Service and then try to deploy the EAR, then it gives the error below.

  And vice versa, if I deploy EAR application, and then deploy the AM service, it gives the error below.

  It was working fine until 11.1.1.7.

  I have done this repeatedly for a long time and wasn't any problem in 11.1.1.7 deployments.

  If something has changed in 12.1.3?

  Even if the AM Service is existing, it is deployed in the same application, it should be able to just crush?

  Here are the results with different versions

  11.1.1.7 - domain of the ADF - Standalone Server - works fine

  11.1.1.7 - SOA - Standalone Server - domain works very well

  12.1.3 - error field - integrated WLS - ADF

  12.1.3 - error field - independent server - SOA

  (The foregoing analysis is based on a simple project ADF as a point of Contact for that matter).

  We need this because ours is a BPM Application and the Composite depends on the AM Service, so the AM service must first deployed in the field of the SOA.

  Then, we make the process as well as the ADF UI for task forms. ADF project depends also on the model project

  We get the error during the deployment of the BPM project and the ADF UI project below.

  Found a workaround for this problem.

  I don't have to do this in 11.1.1.7 well!

  You don't know if it's the right solution or not!

  If anyone of you knows a better solution, please share.

  I did the 2 following things.

  a. classes of the AM Service Interface of removed files from deployment profile filters

  ViewController project-> properties-> deployment profile--> filegroups--> WEB - INF / classes-> filters

  : Uncheck * Service *. * files (4 - Service.class, Service.wsdl, Service.xsd, ServiceImpl.class)

  b. deleted the deployment profile of library jar ADF for the model project

  Model project-> properties-> deployment

  : Remove the deployment of ADF library jar files profile

  And now I am able to deploy time interface AM Service and application.

  It works for me because I won't need to deploy the AM Service interface again while deploying the process / code of the ADF.

  Since I will deploy the Service Interface of first Business components separately.

  I don't think that you would be able to update the library in the 'SaaS Extension' of JCS version and the version of JDeveloper using must be 11.1.1.7.1. He has however separated 'Service of Cloud Computing Java' that gives you complete control over the WLS...

• Deploying ADF application to a managed server in weblogic - security ADF error

  Our group wrote an ADF web application, we are trying to deploy on a weblogic managed server. So far, we have succumbed. The application deploys successfully to the AdminServer. Our facility:

We installed the ADF (ADF version is 11.1.1.0.0), JSTL (1.2.0.1), and the JSF (1.2.7.1) runtime libraries and they are addressing both the server administrator AND managed server called CollabServer. This server communicates with node Manager and you will be able to be started and the console of administration successfully. The AdminServer is on 7101 port, and the CollabServer is on port 7104.   As I said, there is no deployment errors when deploying on the management server. However, we still see the following errors when deploying to the managed server:

  This error occurs when the deployment using the < wldeploy > Ant task included with weblogic and the deployment of the application manually using the administration console.

  Here are the steps we had to take to get a WLS managed to run an adf application without copying any jar in the field/lib directory:

  1. you should always install the adf runtime to any server you want the adf application to deploy on

  2. open the administration console, select the managed server and select the "start server" tab in the settings of trial.

  3. Add

  editing area of the "Arguments". As with the change of calsspath ' / u01/bea ' your home BEA and change the domain name (in our case "naa_qs") to your domain name. change the managementuser and the password to your needs. As whith the classpath I put a CR/LF in the section of code to make it readable.

  5. save the changes and restart the server

  Essentially, all that we have copied the arguments of the admin server start script and more to add the path of the class.

• [SOLVED] Problems of packaging and deploying an application in an external WLS ADF

  I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.0, who has a WebLogic Server embedded 10.3.5.

  When I test my application by right clicking on my page and run... in WLS on-board, everything works perfectly.

  It works with any page and any flow.

  Now, I have to deploy the same application to an external 10.3.6 WLS

  First of all, I have the application package in one EAR to aid Assistant JDeveloper. I did right click in application-> Deploy-> MyApplication...-> select deploy ear...

  
  

  Then, when .ear file is built, I run startWebLogic (I have already created a domain with the ADF operating options) and deploy the .ear as an app.

  I have a lot of warnings, but the final message is deployment is ok.

  It is therefore my surprise that I get a NullPointerException in the first page I test in the first access to an ADF/view iterator in the Java class:

  I checked the .ear files (contains a .war), decompression it (the .war too) to a different folder and look for duplicates in text in any file and adfc - config.xml does exist only once in the .ear

  Well, I finally solved my problem.

  The steps are:

  • Configure WL 10.3.6 as a WLS incorporated in JDeveloper.
  • Configure WLS Diagnostics: http://jdeveloperfaq.blogspot.com.es/2009/12/faq-7-how-to-configure-adf-diagnostics.html
  • Run applications in WLS 10.3.6. Now, there are a lot of newspapers, and I see the problem in the DataBindings file. AppModule connection name and reference data binding to this AppModule were mismatch. FIX: http://www.emmersonmiranda.net/2011/07/jbo-33005-configuration-appmodulelocal.html
  • Then, a Classic JNDI fail. It is very important the name of data source JDBC with certain agreements with the login name. See this: http://mrk-group.blogspot.com.es/2011/11/unable-to-lookup-data-source-at-context.html

  Finally, it works.

  Now, let me ask another question.

  I have change the DB connection (not the name, is not posible) to another user in the same DB schema. I want to check if the application still works and it does. But why? My test is right?

• Bug? The obligation to deploy ADF Model Runtime on internal WLS

  Hello, I have a strange problem. I have 2 projects in my application: a model project and a Web service generated (from WSDL). In the Web service, I have a manager that newspapers in the database so I have a dependency on the model project in my webservice project.

  My EAR deployment profile contains only the webservice project (as it should because the model is implied through the depenency, right?), but I have to deploy the library "ADF Model runtime" with her because I get an NoClassDefFound exception otherwise. It so strange because it is a runtime library and I have an ADF area in my WLS if the library is already there. I have other Web services deployed on the same server and they do not have this problem. The only difference I can see between those with the error is that the last webservice has been built with a local WSDL and others from a URL. But it would be strange if that was the problem here.

  My guess is that this is a bug in JDeveloper, and I would like to know how to correct it. Somehow my classpath does not seem right, is there an xml file, I could manually change so that I do not have to deploy the jar with my project? It made my huge EAR file and I have to wait 7 minutes before it is deployed. This is unacceptable...

  During the deployment, JDeveloper complains of not being able to find the oracle.jbo.domain.Number, which is in adfm.jar if I'm not mistaken. Isn't it weird? It should be available on the WLS or not?

  I solved it. Somehow, I don't have a weblogic - application.xml in my screen of application resources. It is supposed to be where jps.config.xml and cwallet.sso are. I did a manually and added to the library-ref mentioned before him. Then I could deploy without any problem. I still wonder why JDeveloper na not create one for me in the first place, because I don't remember having to do it manually for any other project I've ever done.

  Anyway, problem solved!

  create the field of prod, you may need to extend your domain name to include libraries of the adf.
  Start the server administrator
  Goto, wl (http://:console) console create datasource
  Select the tunnel server protocol tab
  Create a connection to the server App (Application Server Browser View menu) in jdev
  Right-click on your App. GoTo Deploy - name of the application - to - new connection
  Run the jspx in the browser (http://:appname-ViewController-context-root/faces/jsfpagename.jspx)

• Deploying ADF applications on Glassfish 3.1.2 two

  I managed to solve the problem of deployment by modifying the deployment under the Application properties configuration:

  1. unselect Auto Generate and Synchronize weblogic - jdbc.xml deployment descriptors

  2 deselect the credentials under Security Deployment Options

  3 deselect users and groups under deployment and Security Options

  

  I think auto generation of weblogic deployment descriptor - jdbc.xml was most probably the origin of the problem.

• ADF Application - Development Mode deployment problem

  my application works fine, while running on integrated wls (just give a click right and on my page jspx - auto deployment).
  
  If I go with manual deployment of option on same wls integrated or stand-alone wls means
  
  I can able to get my login page, if I have some means of connection he did re - direct to my index page than it would be problem? (it doent replicate this kind of integrated wls (auto deployment))

  use all adf security. my login page is in extended session bean index page - backing bean of limited scope.

  In the colsole admin click on the name of one of the libraries, and then select the target tab and see if the checkbox for your (managed) server is set. If it's the library should be available, and you should not see the error.
