  I have FSX and acceleration installed on my system. My system config is: 9450 Intel clocked at 2.67 Ghz on an EVGA 780i motherboard. 1100 watts of power. A graphics card nVidia 8800 GTX, 4 GB of RAM running Windows 7 64 bit. All the drivers, hardware and software are updated. All programs run fine EXCEPT FSX, which is my main game I use.

  V Sync is set to "Power On". FSX loading is correct. When I'm in the cockpit there is a 'sparkling effect' on panels of light from the windows, etc. At any time during the flight, all of a sudden, vertical lines appear, get worse then everything crashes or I have to manually shut down computer. I adjusted and adjusted re all resolutions, uninstalled, reinstalled the program, changed and changed everything and nothing seems to fix the problem.   Trying to backup my Storm using the Desktop Manager.

  It strengthened once last week.

  what I did to try to remedy this:

  Taken to Verizon today and they said it saved OK

  On my laptop:

  Remove the old backup

  reinstalled Destop Manager

  In the storm:

  Memory cleaned

  Restart the BB (& removed SIM card)

  hook, start backup, turns for a few seconds and stops on 'map file' displays the error message

  Went to VZNavigator where there is card files, impossible to find some kind of delete them with the exception of favorite.

  Re run backup now it get error on "options for the smart card.

  Under ADVANCED in the backup menu, there is nothing to Smatcard

  Don't know what else to do! Help!

  Make sure that you clear your browser's cache before attempting to use the backup in DM.  Open the browser - BB - then Options - Cache operations... click on clear all the items.

  After that, do your backup and everything should work perfectly!

  I understand from the description of the problem, the computer freezes in the commissioning on the Windows 7 computer.

  2. are you able to boot into office?

  3. you receive an error message/code?

  I suggest you try these methods and check if it helps.

  Method 1

  Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

  If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then download drivers software updated for this particular device.

  Method 2

  Try to start in last good known Configuration and see if you can start very well.
