• Design of network for VMware/iSCSI SAN

  I am currently reshaping our business network to take account of the variation between stand-alone servers and an Equallogic/VMware environment. We will use iSCSI to connect to the virtual machine to the San.

  My question is this. How a proper network design should seek this kind of deployment? I've specified my current hardware less than what I have to work with. Given that I can't pay by port / vlan database MTU value on the 3750/2960 should I dedicate a switch for iSCSI?

  given that the same logic has two controllers that you will have to use a pair of switches to cross connect for redundancy. You are going to need some maps as well. 1 sc, 1 for vmotion, 2 for iscsi (cross connected) and probably 2 for the production traffic.

  ISCSI SAN is not as fast as the fiber, but compared to the local drive is a big improvement for your applications, users, etc.

  Personally, I think Dell equallogic are great! PS600XV is what I put in place.

  You can make a part of your cluster of data a Variant.  It will take any type of data.  A common architecture for the producer/consumer is a cluster which is an enum and a Variant.  The enum contains all possible "orders", you might want to send.  The variant contains data that could be of any type.

  Ungroup you in the consumer and get the enum and Variant.  Attach the enum to a case structure.  In the specific case, convert the variant type in a data type of regular LabVIEW and with it as you please.

  You can certainly, if you're just a question in general.

  If you also want to get the certification built for BlackBerry, however, you at some point will have to update the application to add support for screen 720 x 720 and possibly other unique features for phones with keyboard. (At least, if the application is not one that would be useless on the small screen for a reason any.)

  Details on when that might be is not yet known. I think that the terms and Conditions of the BFB program talk about how long you will need to submit the update, etc, if that's what you're talking about.

  Many of our publishers are experimenting with it. Other titles include National Geographic Magazine and The New Yorker.

  Some publishers provide simply reuse their content on iPhone iPad and relying on the pinch and zoom feature of the Viewer to provide a reading experience. Custom content will be a much better player experience, but does it come at the expense of designing a different question.

• Recommendation of RAID for Equallogic iSCSI SAN?

  We look at a Dell/Equallogic PS6000E with 16 drives of 1 TB, it connects to our servers ESX 2-3 (about 15 virtual machines running) and to a SQL cluster (mainly a SharePoint service workload size).  Dell recommends RAID5, which would give us ~ 12 useful to.  Frankly, if we had used 8TB, that would be fine.  Any recommendations for the best RAID for Equallogics level?

  If you can really just 8 to, I must say raid 10...   Reference Dell suggests always raid 5 no matter what.

  Now best practices is to create several groups of disks with different raid levels for the taste of storage at your fingertips.

  You are going to have to make some calls to judgment on how to implement.     I suggest you test conversions PtoV tour and play with the config some before deciding, but I know that it is now possible in most cases.

  Dell has an excellent white paper on the table.  It's for the MD3000i, but the raid types and most other info still apply to the DAS or san during raids.

I have 90% complete.  2 following questions will get the finish line.  These must include with model of XSLFO code changes.  This is part of the EBS.  NO editor of BI was available to work with - so I work with the live code XSLFO.

  (# 1) where can I change STYLE of OUTLINE for the "General Conditions", I'm working on a copy of the model terms of contract Oracle-> 'OKCTERMS_en. XSL".

  Here is my best guess where this change must be made.  Please notify.

  The answer is to configure the outline style when CONTRACTS are set up.  It is a frontal process.  This isn't a change in XSL - FO.

  Hi in my world I'm not selling my Apps but their production for customers who need to turn to download for free because they are Corporate Brochures and newsletters and free guides.

  Then... If I buy the large single version of research free cloud and produce a brochure/portfolio should I notify my customer that they must pay these costs of bundle folio on top for their audience to download?   17 p has download?

  I can see he said the folio is free but do they really mean it I fear just don't to the land of my client with hidden costs.

  If I move to professional, that would mean I could publish to androids large but why make it difficult for small agencies and let them only able to offer ipad apps it's crazy!

  Folio unique means a brochure or a single download of this free booklet with one of the two packages.  I spent 3 hours looking for the answer I'm missing something!

  I hope someone can help it's superb but if 10,000 people download my free brochure of customers it could cost more than traditional printing? Is there a blocker which if it became merit to be published and downloaded at 1 million people is there a ceiling to stop it being downloaded?

• Best practices for the replication SAN with SRM

  We have a 20 MB MPLS pipe between our HQ and DR sites. Is this enough for replication? What are the advantages\disadvantages to use a VPN tunnel to the SAN replication over the internet?

  Unfortunately, it is really dependent on your replication technology of storage, replication, or modes, the data change and RPO rate if asynchronous replication.  I saw the replication occur on a 10 MB line very well even if the technology used has bandwidth capabilities very high compression.  What do you use?  Could someone here more to add experience with replication tool.

  Hi, I'm going round in circles trying to install Anastasia for my children.  The PC is running XP (I also tried it on my laptop - Vista - and failed).  I tried installing and running in compatibility for Windows 95 mode and also tried to run with a resolution of 640 x 480 and 256 colors. The best result I get is that the first screen comes up saying you want to play, but when I click on Yes it goes blac then the error box comes up saying that it encountered an error and needs to close. Then it closes. Its driving me crazy please help!
