Design of CPT-50 connections / CPT-600

Two quick Questions:

1: made the CPT-50 can work alone without CPT - 600?

2: the CPT-50 and CPT - 600 works in a ring topology?

Example: If we have 10 sites (a single main HQ and a disaster recovery Site and 8 remote sites) that have a physical ring of the fiber cable linking all the). can connect us all sites, one adjacent to the HQ as a ring or you need to connect each site at HQ as topology star on fiber optic cables.

We can use all the nodes as CPT - 50 if traffic is low?

failed me so don't know much in depth.

but here are some details.

CPT - 50 can not work alone, but from the version of the 9.7 software, you can take a 200 CPT or CPT-600 and plug CPT - 50.

If you have 10 knots, that could be a CPT-200 or 600 CPT connected with CPT - 50 and all the other CPT - 50 can be connected to a ring stand alone without CPT-200 or CPT-600.

Thus, a CPT600 or CPT-200 connected with all other CPT - 50 in a ring.

I know that this above works perfectly.

    I am trying to connect to IOM via design console get the below error. IOM is in the linux machine and I copied the console from the design to the local machine, made the necessary changes in xlclient.cmd and xlconfig.xml, I am getting up pop design console but get error below.     You use hostname in your url of the IOM in the xlconfig.xml file. Add entry in your file hosts with this host name and its ip address. Or update xlconfig.xml with the IP instead of host name. It should work.

  • Designer of the app connectivity DB in SQL Server 2008 issues

    I have a new created databasse called 'PSDMO1' (cloned from existing 'Demo'). This database is on PT 8.51.08. In the same machine, I am able to connect to the database 'Demo' successfully. I am trying to connect to this database using the App Designer. But it does not work.

    I have studied and found that the login to the people itself fails (App Designer Trace below). I worked with the DBA here and concluded that, "the connection is does NOT in the database". So, it looks like problem ODBC.

    ('' People '' subsidies are already provided).

    However ODBC will display correct system DSN and also - Test connection is successful.

    It seems that Peoplesoft is unable to speak and ODBC database.

    If you are on a 64-bit computer, it could be the fact that you need to run the 32-bit ODBC admin and set up your connection it as PeopleTools (App Designer) is a 32-bit application?

  • How to design two pools of connections to database even in RPD?

    I have a few tables in a database under different users,

    first import tables under a user in the RPD, it will create a database of "ORCL" PSB and a single connection pool.

    then I inport other tables under another user, these paintings also appears under "ORCL" and did not create another pool of connections.
    When I view the data, it will prompt connection failed.

    I know why this happened, because there is a pool of connections, a connection pool is mapping to a single user,
    I try to create another pool of connections, but I think that it is impossible to the mapping of all tables in the specified connection pool.

    I also tried to create another data base in DR., it worked. But I think that is not convinient.

    so I would ask you how to manage this problem when you face?

    You must have 2 different system DSN created for the same database with different/pswd usernames. Either go this route OR
    Create or simply create an object database in RPD ORCL1 in poiniting connection pool to correct the user name and password and DSN. In addition, in the Connection Pool, check the box for "full qualified table name required.

    What shud solve your problem.

    Think of it this way. A picture of 1920 X 1080 has 2 073 and 600 pixels of information it has to go for everything everyone in the room. An image of 1280 X 960 a 1 228 and 800 pixels. Which generates a little more than a 40 percent reduction in the information which must be transmitted to all the world in the room. With a bit of testing, you can find a screen resolution that will give you the quality you want with little or no delay in the dissemination of the screen. \

    Either disable iMessage or get a data plan. No media support allows the use of an iPhone without a data plan.

    It is a smart phone. It is designed to be constantly connected to the Internet. If this isn't what you want, then get an iPod Touch and a silent phone instead.

    You need a crossover cable. This cable is designed for a direct connection between two units. The cable is cheap and you can find it in every store in PC.

  • Comm port not detected by VISA / MAX after the device power cycle connected

    I have a device communicating via USB virtual comm port. The device and labview program both work very well, most of the time. The program is designed for the automatic connection for the connected equipment. It works perfectly when I unplug and reconnect the USB cable.

    However, if the unit power cycled as the USB cable is connected and the program/vi is running of things go wrong. The device enters a phase of boot loader for a few seconds to the power upward, if labview tries to query the port comm during this phase the comm port is corrupted in some way and is no longer recognized by VISA / NI MAX. However, other programs, hyperterminal, etc device manager can see and communicate with the port when the boot loader is complete. For Labview / NI MAX to see the port I have to physically disconnect the USB cable. The program does not need to be restarted in order to detect the port comm again and, infact, labview is restarted or my compiled program does not solve the problem. Physically disconnect the USB port allows visa / MAX OR see the port is connected.

    It seems to me that there is a problem with VISA where somehow if a device is not correctly identified by VISA during the first attempt it just does not take into account the port until a physical intervention. Is there a way to force VISA to reassess completely all connected comm ports?

    Officially, we do not support the use of com virtual ports, if unfortunately, the feature you have now is probably as good you'll be able to get with this configuration. I know it's not the answer you were hoping to hear and I apologize for the inconvenience, but it is not really possible visa work well with all software virtual com port due to the wide variety of products available.

    I bought a unit of RPS-600 and 700 - RPS for the redundancy of the power supply for PowerConnect 5224 unit and 5424 respectively.

    Two questions/doubts came into my mind and I hope that some experts here could specify:
    1. What is the step by step connection rps-600/700 (new procedure) to PowerConnect 5524/5424 (live system) - e.g.: power first rps-600, then rps on rps-600 cable then cable rps on 5524 etc.?
    2. with the step defined above, there is no downtime?

    You can plug the switch first RPS, then the RPS to the electric network. There should be no interruption of service.

  • Connectivity with other VSS VSS

    I would like to confirm on the VSS structured design. We can connect 2 VSS back-to-back as the core and Distribution? I saw 1 Cisco document that give me only limited information with only the domain ID will be different on the two back to back THAT VSS pair connected.

    I want to confirm what is the link between the 6500 (VSS) and 4500-x (VSS). We can connect as layer 2 Port channel between Catalyst 6500 and Catalyst 4500 - X? Access layer to the works as layer 2 and connect with 4500-X as well. Then the Lass remain on Core (6500)?

    Or we can connect the two VSS pair as layer-3? If yes then Lass remain on 4500-X?

    For back to back VSS, you just need to worry about the VSS domain id, it should be different.

    with reference to n/b connectivity 2 VSS, it may be L2 L2 or L3 port channel there depends on your condition.

    Yes, multi-Cloud is designed to manage multiple connections in the same or multiple platforms. You can even have multiple connections to the same AWS region by using different accounts to facilitate the assignment of chargeback. You also have the option of specifying and area availability.

    PS. a new version of the multi-Cloud kit will be available in late February with the offering of the CIAC Enterprise Edition 3.1.1 complete future scalability. For AWS, it will also support IP elastic, management and distribution of key pairs. The current MCAK for Starter Edition is recommended for the proof of concept only at this time.

    the small icon 'wifi' on the taskbar of my laptop has six other House and wifi connections listed. I only know me. When I click the wifi icon, four of the six say "connect automatically". is it safe? Why it will remain unchecked in the box? concerned.

    This option is by design. The option "connect automatically" is always checked for any open network (such as a secure network) so that you do not manually connect (each time) if the laptop comes in the range of open network.

    If you do not automatically connect to an open network, then uncheck the option.

    If the option is checked, even if you do not want to connect to a network, there is no harm.

    If you have concerns, please let us know.

  • How DO I create Excel 2007 spreadsheets ODBC connections?

    SAP Crystal reports 2011 and as the sources of data using Excel spreadsheets.

    In Report Designer, you create the connection to the worksheet.

    While this leads to 95% accuracy, there are problems with the tool CR not actually 'SEE' or 'Recognize' values within some excellent cells.

    WHY?  I have no idea.  Apparently, SAP doesn't know either.

    SO an SAP expert has suggested that I use the ODBC connection to Excel 2007 worksheets, i.e. this connection will not have these issues.

    There is a screen in the CR tool where it can be USED? the connection, but I have no knowledge of the procedure to follow.  Apparently, Miss me a step in actually creating

    the ODBC connection so that this CR tool can see it and use it.

    I am new to using the Mobile App Designer. When I connect to OBIEE (http://localhost:9704 / Analytics /) I see the mobile option app but when I click on the option, the window to create a new application does not appear.

    If I look at the mobile OBIEE (http://localhost:9704 / mobile /) it works fine and I am able to see the phone to create or window of Tablet, but the application will not be saved. I checked the permissions in folders and permissions to my account, but they all seem fine.

    We are on the latest version of OBIEE 11.1.1.7.140715 and patch: 18794832 BI Mobile App Designer. Double, I checked the read me and followed the instructions according to the patch. Any ideas?

    Update, question relates to IE10, does not work with the compatibility view on. This must be turned off. Confirmed with the Support of Oracle to organise a fix to be put in place. Have to downgrade to IE9 or wait for a fix because IE11 is the same problem.
