  If your drive works, it may just be easier to return to a duplication service and to make copies.

  Another option is to burn your DVDs as ISO file on the hard drive of the time, rather than directly on a disc. You can then use this ISO file and a program such as ImgBurn to spit as many copies of your DVD - complete each with the integrity of the original.

• Application of effects master to multiple clips

  Adobe Premiere Pro help. Master Clip effects we are told:

  • To apply an effect to multiple master clips, select the items in the project Panel, and then drag the effect to apply to the selected items.

  But only the first stage works. I select them in the project Panel, and then drag the Lumetri color effect to one of the clips. it applies to all of the clips as a master effect . Nothing changes, because I have not yet defined all the parameters of the effect. Now, I go to settings in the color Lumetri effect controls panel and change the settings, for example by selecting a LUT entry. The LUT applies only to the element in the Source window . I want to emphasize: focus is not in the Source window, it's always on the project, with the same clips still selected Panel.

  1. is it me, or is this insane behavior?

  2. How can I apply a master effect to multiple clips? Is the only way first create a preset? Copy and paste the attributes of an effect may not be possible on the main elements.

  You can only set one effect at a time.  So yes, add the effect to a clip, creating a preset and then apply to all the rest.

  I want to do master detail form, I have three VO, PersonVO, EmailVO, AddressVO. PersonVO is the master and Email and address details are. I want to make the connection between a single instance of PersonVO (Master) to these two details with a single link from view.

  Your screenshot, it looks like the Note box is part of the design of the Master Page to the pages right and left. Open the master page view (view > Master Pages). Then ctrl-click on the Notes box. You will see little black squares appear at the corners and the middle of the Notes box points when he was selected. Now remove it. You can do the same for the adjacent, if necessary text block. Adjust the height of the main text block and the location of the rule of separation as needed.

  He wants a place on the header of every page of his Web site where he can post his latest information in real time every day. If he had his way, it would look like a strip of tickets transiting via the header of each page. I was going to include it in the design of the master page header, so all that he would have to do is update the copy on the master and it would update the header of each page. But in the Assembly browser does not work on master pages.

  Is there a way to do this? Even if it's an a widget that has been done by another Member of the community of Muse?

  The options on the download page are Web Premium, Design Standard, and Master Collection and Production Premium. I want to make sure that I get the programs that I paid for, not all of which are included in the standard design.

  Too bad. I thought about it. Must say that I am not at all impressed with Adobe and their lack of support now well. I wish indeed, there was another company, I could support instead, but I guess just to monopoly, you can do what you want and get away with it. (And no, I don't mean forums).

• Can not unlock a Master Page text boxes

  First think first: Adobe InDesign CC for MAC, OS X 10.9.1.

  I received a file from a client with a lot of master pages. Now, what intrigues me is that at point, the designer uses a master page (title on bottom - Y) to add text on the footer, which foot is then used on the rest of the master pages. Each master page contains three layers: text, Images, frames blue boxes.

  

  Then he created another master page (Z - Footers_Page #).

  Now, the delicate issue.

  There, initially, locked down titles that have been on the layer of text boxes. I unlock them.

  

  Then, I went on my page document to sselect this footer text and put a little smaller, but only on this page, not on every page of the document. Usually, this is done by clicking on the desired text block while pressing command + shift. It did not work.

  I checked the master pages and noticed that the page that I tried to change used the Z Master. So, I thought that the master might have locked up too substantive text. So I went to this basic form and I noticed that the text boxes containing footers is not locked but has not yet shown on any of these three layers.

  

  I tried the command + shift + click on the boxing of text containing the phrase ending by... Central Virginia, to make it editable. No question. They are not shown in the text layer boxes.

  The only text boxes, I can change are the page numbers.

  

  However, when I do the layer of invisible text boxes, all the footers disappear, including those I can't edit at all.

  

  I started, so I was wondering. What is going on? Commands like show all on the spread or unlock everything on spreads are gray. So, how do I change this line on a single page.

  There is a little professional manner, but I preffer to learn before doing the amateur work.

  Select master z doing Ctrl A to select all the items on the master. On the flyout menu go to Master Pages/Allow Master item overrides on selection.

• Combined Master + work rest or separate by ODI 11 G

  Hi people,
  As stated in my other thread, im coming from a background of ODI 10 G.
  We now can co-locate master rest and work in the same pattern - is there all the benefits of this approach over the vault of the ODI. in separate schemas?
  
  Please note we will be 'cloning' environments through Prod Dev - UAT - rather than the infrastructure shared master rest, I understand why if this moves the decision in one way or another.

  The welcoming in the same schema will force you to have a Master a Rep of installation work.
  ODI architecture supports one master and multiple repositories work. So, in this case, I don't think that it would be possible to have all the reps to work in the same schema.

  In the future, you can have a hot-fix (only working repository) environment that remains only in dev. So, you can have 1 Dev + 2 Dev WR MR.

• Table with the Kindle and generated content in e - pubs design problems

  I encountered a strange problem with e-pub files exported from 5.5 design. It's only a problem with the Kindle, but that in itself is a pretty big problem. This has to do with the way In Design creates tables of contents. As you know, the "Table of contents" function in In Design is what generates the NCX or navigation device in your e-pub. Our books, we also create a linked table of contents in the text of the book. Below is a string of code generated by In Design that shows a typical chapter opening header that is included in the NCX and also back to the table of contents links in the text. The first (toc_marker-10) id is automatically generated by the 'Table of contents' function and corresponds to the id used by the NCX. The second id (Morella) has been created by me using an anchor point and assigning a "destination of the hyperlink" which can bind an element in my table in the text of the content. Then this piece of text is a hypertext link (via as HREF) return to the table of contents page. As you can see, In Design puts the second id towards the end of the code and after the HREF that links to my table of contents page. This works very well on all the reading devices except the Kindle, which seems to become confused by the order of the elements in the code. Amazon said that because this second id comes after the HREF, the hyperlink does not appear on this text (Morella) and the connection breaks. The way around this is simple: just move the second id < an id = "Morella" / > while it comes immediately before the href tag and everything works. But that means getting into the e-pub afterwards and put away all instances of the problem. In addition, there is no consistency in order that design attributes to the elements in the present code. In some cases where the links have been created in exactly the same way, the second id appears before the HREF and the link works fine. It's just a bug or did someone knows if In Design actually uses logic to decide the order of the items below?

  It really doesn't seem like a problem of Kindle. InDesign creates an EPUB file, not a Mobi file. It is designed to create an EPUB that will pass validation.

  Creating the EPUB MOBI file is a separate issue and not something that InDesign must concern itself with.

  At this stage of development of eBook (early on), it is quite well provided you will need script or manually change some CSS and XHTML to adjust the vagaries of different devices.

  I have a question about adobe indesign, because I work on a portfolio right now, so I do a little book with analyses and photographs.

  I already have an A-master with multiple lines, and indeed, each page is exactly like the A-master, as I wanted. But then, when I want to make a frame (rectangle tool) to put the text or photos in it, or in the case of mine, I want to make a frame to fill with a color, for the creation of a Fund. The problem: because of the frame, filled with a background color, the lines of the A-master are still invisible! I have no idea why, and how I can solve this problem. I have just started with the program, and in my view, it would be logical that A master is always visible and the lines always on top, because that's what I want (no matter if I had a background in a particular color or put a picture on the place of one of the lines of the A-master page layout)

  If you go to a Master

  Go to Windows > layers

  Make a new layer

  Select all items on the master

  Drag the point on the right side of the Panel layer to the layer above it.

  Then let all your template on the top layer items.

  Put everything else on the layer below.

• Confused: Switching/Local Central switching

  I was wondering if someone could explain a little more local/central switching away, when it comes to HREAP/FlexConnect modes for CAPWAP AP

  So in our environment, we are short 7.5.102.0 code on all our WLC.  We have a WLC in two of our regions (United States and Europe).  Each region provides internet services for remote sites connected.  So a site in Chicago returned to our head office on a MPLS for their internet services; as a site in Italy returned to our head office in the United Kingdom to their internet service over MPLS.  These remote sites have AP which are in mode FlexConnect back to Central in WLC.

  My question... I understand that the AP in Central switch mode tunnels traffic to the central controller, so that local switching is not.  However, what does this mean?  If the WAN link goes down, how does help local switching?  The internet is still down, since this is how the internet is announced from the central location.  Does this mean that this local server can be accessed on wireles, since we are in local switching mode?  Same question for authentciation;  Our servers are located on the central sites, with no ad servers on remote sites.  Local authentication mode, how an AP would record a user, if the MPLS link is down?  It downloads a sort of directory cache for authentication?

  Yes, local switch mode, locally customer traffic wireless turned on at the branch (you must set their IVR on the Steering switch) and they can access resources of the Directorate General whiel WAN link is down. If the internet served is issued by your central, while they won't get internet services so that your WAN links is down.

  If you have configured the local authentication, yes WLC pass credentials (if WLC has credentials user as WAP2-PSK or WEP) AP where he can use for local authentication. If you are using dot1x with RAY & AD, then you should have the redundancy of these services in order to AP of the branch to use these in a controller of the situation is not available.

  -If it's in VGW, approved and non-approved interfaces must have the same IP address

  -Uncheck "the passage through the VLAN ' on both sides

  I edited bits for our purposes, but it is basically the same. the user selects a folder with JPEG files, a folder of dest, and the script puts the JPEG images on my model and saves them to the original file name. However, sometimes the user will need to do this several times in the same folder of dest and will not necessarily know what JPEG files they already did. so they eventually overwrite files that may already have been worked on (the names cannot be changed afterwards for some reason very annoying and irritating).

  what they would like, in this case, is for the script to advise when files with this filename already existing in the dest folder (but work normal otherwise). I thought just turn DISPLAYALERTS turn it on could do it (since that's what saveAs does when you go there manually) but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I can't find clues in the reference, but then I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for.

• Oracle coherence first read/write operation take longer

  I'm testing with consistency oracle Java and C++ version and both versions for writing in a local or distributed or near cache first read/write operation take more time compared to the next consecutive read/write operation. What is because of boost operations inside real HashMap serialization or memory mapped implementation. What are the techniques that we can use to improve performance with this first read/write operation?

  In that case, why bother with consistency? You're not really winning anything, are you?

  What I'm trying to explain, is that you're probably not going to get this level of performance 'microsecond' on a consistent cluster configuration, running on multiple computers, passes through proxies for clients c ++. Consistency is designed to be a scalable, tolerant cache/processing system and distributed. It is not really designed for real-time, guaranteed processing, micro-nano-second second level. There are much better batteries product out there for this type of treatment if that's your ultimate goal, in my humble OPINION.

  As you say, simply write a small local map (or an array, list, Set, etc.) in a local JVM is always going to be very fast - literally as fast as the processor running on the computer. But this isn't really the development of a product like the consistency. It does not seek to "get the gun" that you can get on a single machine, perform simple processing; Consistency is designed for scalability rather than outright performance. Of course, the use of the local caches (including coherence near caching or replicated caching), can you put some of the performance you ' lost ' in a distributed system, but everything is relative.

  If you wander on some of CUG presentations and attend a few meetings CLOSED user group, one of the first things the support guys will tell you is "spots on a correct cluster' and not 'on a localized development computer. Why? Because the difference in performance and scalability will be huge. I'm not really looking to dissuade you from consistency, but I don't think that it will meet you needs when fully configured in a cluster of "1 Micro seconds for 100000 data collection" on an ongoing basis.

  Just my two cents.
