  My bet would be a problem with your color cartrdige.  (Some programs such as Adobe Reader can send data to the printer as color to make black).  Print a page of diagnosis as described in this document or the check ink levels in your color cartridge.

  Is a busy HARD disk when you start your laptop?
  You hear Windows sound?

  If possible try to connect your laptop to the external screen or a TV to see if you can see anything on an external device.

• OfficeJet Pro L7590 can print but not scan

  My printer (Officejet Pro L7590) can print and copy correctly, but the scan function - that has worked well at the same time - has just up and stop working, and my attempts to solve the problem simply go round.

  • When I try to scan using the button start scan on the printer, I get an error message saying 'no scan options '.
  • When I try to open the solution Center, it is said that he cannot run because the installation is not complete.
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the software (latest version, which is three years, downloaded from the HP website) do not work. The software seems to go through the process of installation very well, but crashes on the stage finish ("product configuration"). Eventually it times out.

  A few things that might help...

  There may be a compatibility issue with some of your
  source files. Convert your audio files to the. WMA
  format before you import into Movie Maker can be useful to
  a try.

  Several formats are apparently compatible with
  Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv
  Audio - wav, wma, wmv

  Also, before you save it... go to... Tools / Options / Compatibility
  tab and disable all filters / OK.

  It may be interesting to try to save the project in DV - AVI format...
  (the file size will be much larger, but the result may be better)

  XP Windows Movie Maker 2.1...
  To save a DV - AVI movie file...
  (and other options)
  Type of... CTRL + P (or go to...) File / save movie file)
  to open the wizard movie recording.
  Choose... My computer.
  Next /.
  Enter a name and a location.
  Next /.
  Show more choices.

  Open the window of the droplet and choose... DV - AVI.
  Next /.
  Wait while the movie is saved.

• When the scaling in the layout, 1st page prints correctly, but the following pages were not properly/too large for the paper, parts of text missing scale

  When you try to print in Firefox and when the scale to the size of the page in the page layout, the first page prints correctly, but the following pages do not scale correctly and are too large for the paper, with the parts of the text are cut off at top and right. It is not fixed by checking or unchecking the scaling / shrink to fit page width "ignore" in the print window, or by changing the scale percent.

  I am running Firefox 15.0.1, on Mac OS 10.5.8.

Signatory 1 has filled in the required fields, but the information is not correct.   Once the document is signed, it is not possible to return it. I would recommend to restart a new transaction and send it for signing.

  I had this all-in-one printer HP Deskjet F4180, I used it twice to print or scan and everything seemed fine. But now when I turn it on and connect via USB it only shows me this message "HP Deskjet F4100 series disconnected!" I use Win7 (64 bit) and 13.0 driver software. Can anyone help?   Hmm, maybe, it's a hardware problem. First of all, try another USB cable and USB port on your computer. If this does not make a difference and then try to install this printer on another computer. If it will not install the printer port is probably bad.

  I downloaded the file and:

  1. It is not a Photoshop PDF.
  2. I get the same result, try to open in Illustrator; mutilated font substitution. It's because I don't have one or more of the correct fonts used in the document on my computer, and I suspect the same is true of yours.
  3. The fact that it opens without problem in the player and Photoshop is meaningless, to essentally (or at least, it is not an inidication that should also be open without problem in Illustrator, which is what seems to imply your original message). Player displays the correct fonts as subsets of them are embedded in the PDF file for use by the reader. Photohop just rasterized the entire page, so there is no data required police.
  4. If you had the font, you would get the substitution in Illustrator. It works that way for any PDF.

  Whenever I go back into a PDF file that I have created or downloaded, and add comments and highlights and then try to save it, I get an error message saying "the document could not be saved.  The file may be read only... "But the file no is NOT read-only and it is there ANY security settings.  What gives?

  For some strange reason, Windows creates a thumbnail preview in the display pane for some files: photo, files PDF, XLS files, PPT files to name a few.

  

  To disable the Windows Explorer details pane, click on organize > Layout > and click on the details pane to make it disappear.
