Detection tools for vulnerability for firewalls

I need to test our firewall with the vulnerability of the internet. Can anyone recommend a simple and effective test for this purpose tool (portscan etc.)

It is a very good scanner and it's free. Scroll down to half way and click on the link "Shields Up". Commons & custom scanned ports and some other nice stuff for you tell what someone can easily recover computers that are behind the firewall.
