  "Change appearance" is disabled. It has always been since I 1st turned on this game in Win 7 Pro x 64.

  Just to be sure: the option "change appearance" depends on the selected layout (turtle etc.), then you should choose a layout first before you can change the displayed details (colors and patterns of the stones etc.). This option is not available on the start screen (grayed out =) where you see the layouts available but don't have selected one yet.

  In your case, the option is not available on selected either page layout screen (where it shouldn't be greyed out). Is this fair?

  For some reason any firefox stopped to load the site youtube for me. I can watch videos other people uploaded on facebook for example, but can not enter the site. Explorer is in charge of the site, so I tried to change the proxy settings in my firefox such as recommended in the Help Center, but nothing helped.
