• A script for the e-mail notifications to all detectors of vCenter device 54 default works as expected, however it ends with an error.

  We test the automatic configuration of alerts by email of all the alarms of 54 by default since version 5.0 of the device of vCenter.

  Since this is something that we intend to do on all the installations/upgrades, it can be a time-consuming task having to manually set each alarm set on each vCenter so I indicated to an article in the blog of VMpros which appears to address a similar task and who suggests using PowerCLI script to take care of this:

  I fixed the script from its original version because it shouldn't change certain actions of alarm to send alarm notifications at a different e-mail once a week. Instead, we will propose a one-time activity.

  After configuring vCenter server connection information and change the e-mail addresses, I have successfully tested the custom script to add notifications by e-mail to a test alarm (named "Test alarm") to a simple action, that I had created earlier (turn on/off a virtual computer in our laboratory). The added script notifications by e-mail to our alarm test as expected without error.

  Before you change the script to add e-mail notifications to all 54 defect detectors as needed, I decided to test the custom script against one of the predefined alarms (named 'Host the status of material power'). While the script added notifications by e-mail to the alarm 'Material receiving power status' as expected, he finished with errors.

  I just want to make sure that our custom script contains no script errors before using it on all the installations/upgrades (any suggestion or criticism is welcome).

  Okay, I think I found the problem.

  You set 3 actions on this alarm (3 x Email).

  This means that it

  Returns 3 objects (one for each action).

  Unfortunately, the New-AlarmActionTrigger cmdlet wants 1 as input Action, not a table object.

  The solution is to select the Action of explictely for which you want to change the trigger.

  Beware, the script does not remove the old triggers, so you will end up having several triggers for actions.

  I work with OR lock virtual amplifier to build a detection system that uses a linear led strips detector to measure the effect of an electric field on the spectrum of a molecule absorption. Traditionally, this technique was carried out using a single photodiode detector connected to an external amplifier of detent and the absorption spectrum was analyzed using a spectrometer. The lock would demodulate the signal of interest based on the wavelength. In my setup, I acquire any range (all wavelengths) simultaneously to speed up the experience and improve S:N. to do this, I use a spectrometer OOptics USB2000 + and NI virtual LIA. Each element of the photodiode array, then acts as a unique photodector calibrated to a specific wavelength. I want to demodulate the signal of interest of each element of the matrix of the photodiode.

  After reviewing several of the messages on this forum, I start to worry if my setup actually work. So far, I have seen that everyone uses a detector single channel connected to a card scanner of some sort, which also acquires a reference signal. Phase delays would come mainly from electronics and cable lengths. In my setup, the detector is digitized by the 2 MHz ADC in the spectrometer OOptics and my digitizer OR is only to measure the experience reference signal. Because two ADC of separate instruments are used, this prevents the use of the vLIA? My intuition tells me that don't know, but I am relatively new to the use of detectors photodiode array for this purpose.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Now we are getting somewhere.

  The effective sampling rate is about 70 Hz.  Unfortunately, the time is probably metered software, which introduces additional jitter at the time of each data set.  Sampling a signal to the Nyquist rate only gets you the minimum information on this signal and certainly produced very little significant phase information.

  Given that the intensities of the pixels are measured at the same time, you have no worries for the phase shifts between the pixels.

  Question about the synchronization: the spec introduces a measure whenever it receives a TTL pulse?  Integration of 1 ms, then send 2048 data points, then wait for the next pulse?  Assuming that's what he does, then you have a chance to lock a verrrrrry slooooow amplifier.

  It would work something like this.  Setting the sync generator to produce a measure trigger pulse every ms T, where T > 13 + 1 ms.  Suppose that T = 20 ms (FLA = 50 Hz) to keep simple mathematics.  Sets the modulating frequency to 1 Hz.  Then you get 50 samples per period of modulation, or sample all 7.2 degrees.

  Now I need more.  You indicate that your alternative signal is microvolts.  What is the significance of the component continues?  The relationship between these two signals is the signal to noise ratio.  A quick glance on Ocean Optics web site indicates that dynamic range for a single purchase is 1300: 1, which seems low for a device with a 16-bit A/D converter.  This must be the limit of the photodiodes to an integration time specified.  If the signal is really limited to this range, you can get into trouble.  The lock-in amplifier depends on some signals actually being there, just smaller than the noise.  In this case the limitations of photodiodes or the processes scanning spectrometer, it is possible that there are really no signal there to extract.

  If your signal is a quantity equivalent to 10% of the dark current, you must get a signal you could accurately measure on average for about 100 cycles of the modulation frequency (1 Hz) to start.  Your samples are stable for 2 minutes or more?

  A different instrument may be the best bet.

  I have a problem with my computer it has been infected by a virus that is not visible in normal mode. It prevents running any application that would help in the detection and removal. I tried running mrt, mcaffe, trendmicro rootkit detector rootkit detector, spybotSD, analysis windows Defender online Windows live onecar. All these works for a minute and then shutsdown, when I click it again I get the error, as mentioned in the title, 'windows cannot access the specified device file or the path, you do not have permissions.

  This problem has a solution or re - install is the only way out?

  The pointers/help appreciated.

  Just to add, I am able to connect using my last known good configuration and only safe mode configurations.

• Speed camera detector supposed to be programmed, but reception error in Vista

  Presence of camera detector (new and 100% Legal) speed by connecting to the USB port.

  I have a speed camera detector which is supposed to be programmed and updated day by connecting to my PC (Windows Vista 64-bit computer laptop.  2 years approx.)

  I followed the directions precisely. However, I got messages such as "not found" or USB is not connected.

  I would like to stress that as an 'old' my knowledge of computers and the jargon is very limited (well well not really exist)

  Are you absolutely sure that the detector is compatible with Vista and compatible with Vista 64 bit?  Have you checked:http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/?

  Try to install on another computer and see if it works there - so we can determine if this is a problem with the computer or a problem with the device (even if new, it may still be defective).  Are you CERTAIN it requires no software drivers device or firmware or to work - just plug in and it should be good to go?

  If it is just plug and this works, what are the instructions you need to follow precisely?

  What are the EXACT and WHOLE messages, you've been receiving - Word for Word?  The unit requires a USB 2.0 port vs 1.1 and you use the right pair (or you have the right pair on your system)?  Try to use all available ports to see if it works using at least one of them.

  If USB is not connected, how you get the message?  I mean, if the device is not connected how it can send a message that the device is not connected.  I suspect you have to do at some facilities.  I suggest you only uninstall what you have installed and start from scratch to see if it was just a bad installation or a corrupted file or maybe a missing step or step out of use.

  If thatdoesn can't work, contact the technical assistance service of the manufacturer for installation assistance.  As it is brand new, I'm sure they will be willing and able to help you get this job - and they learn more about its functioning and installation procedures and system requirements that do us (and to be honest, I don't know anything - not even not the manufacturer, the brand and model of the device).

  As far as I know some application will use some techniques to detect whether they are running inside a Virtual Machine.

  So I wonder if this device can be used (or intended to be), as a countermeasure for those detectors VM, or it's just a high level feature that will just enhance the visual experience.

  Depending on your router model, there should be a way of

  I have recentrly improved Mavericks to os Sierra on a MacBook Pro of the retina, end of 2012.

  Now, I tried to install Win 10 64 bit Education via bootcamp.

  I used a pendrive of 32GB, formatted using disk utilities, downloaded the Iso of win and to create the key USB WinInstall Bootcamp. Everything worked well. But when the Mac is restarted for the first time (just after the establishment of the size of the partition to Win), a black screen appeared saying «No device startup...» ». Then I tried to turn off the Mac and now restarted the hold option key. But once again, it shows only the normal Mac partition to boot from a USB key.

  What could I do to make USB flash will recognize? What I did wrong?
