  I've seen this before--has to do with the screen scaling on Windows. Set your display to 100% and see if it is resolved.

• v.31: NoScript, initial home page are displayed correctly, but the tabs are not displayed correctly

  I'm under FF with NoScript, never "do not forget history," "Tell sites I don't want to be followed," not selected "Remember passwords for sites" and no Flash. My search engine is Duckduckgo. I use FF for private surfing. If I want to watch the video, I use IE11.

  V.30 with before, I could never see how to configure FF to view my homepage of duckduckgo.com , when I created a new tab. But this is only a minor annoyance because I just click on the Home button.

  Now with v.31, when I create a new tab I see nine rectangles where my story would be represented, if I had not turned off. At the top is a search box with Duckduckgo. However, when I try to use the search box, I see a message 'this page requires JavaScript. Download no - JS here. »

  What is the point of allowing my Duckduckgo home page to display properly when FF is displayed first, but the following tabs require is at the bottom right of the screen and select NoScript "temporarily allow all this page" or by clicking on the Home button? From my point of view, this is not an improvement, just something different to look at.

• Why Firefox was leaving my home page is not displayed correctly?

  I currently use version 3.6.24 Firefox on my PPC mac with 10.4.11 system. I use Firefox for many years without any problems. I received yesterday and on my screen to alert that there is a new update of Firefox available at the facility. I clicked on OK and the update started. When it's over, I checked and it's the same version, 3.6.24, I used and apparently nothing has changed until I went to my eBay site. Once on my site, I signed in and went to manage my Articles page. When you click on one of them you are normally taken to another page. When I went there after apparent installation of the updated release of Firefox page showed my ads in a single column, my profile in another column and third column for my alerts all on one page. This is not normal. I got out and went to my home page which is http://www.rr.com/. Now it was different. Parts of the site have disappeared, the sections with the weather, news, and reviews. I thought it might be the site and then I launched Safari and went to the same page and it is normal. This morning when I started Firefox it shows my home page as screwed up as yesterday. Safari has shown as it should look like. I then started SeaMonkey and it showed the page as it should look like. I really like Firefox and I'd like to get it working again as it should.   Whenever I open a new tab in firefox, other open tabs, fades and nothing is readable. The same thing happens with web pages too. It happened when I updated my firefox version 17.0, hoped that it be rectified with version 17.0.1 but nothing never happened.

  It's terrible. I used Firefox and it predecessors since I started to use a computer in 1994. Now I am now forced to use IE because I can't solve my problem that began a couple of Firefox versions there. I tried the police thing hardware acceleration, by disabling add-ons, everything. Images, text and buttons are missing. Videos not working and just show a black screen dead. It's totally unusable. I have done several system restores and even tried Chrome that I hated. I want my Firefox in return. I use Windows 7 Ultimate and the problem is on BOTH my laptop and desktop. I had the virus and malware scans. Is it possible that Super anti-spyware or Malware Bytes could have been hurt or removed something windows which helps to FF at work? I've used these programs for many years and especially, they just seem to get rid of tracking cookies. Please help as I am at my wits end. I've attached a screenshot of my Yahoo page as well with Firefox and IE.

  On the system with the problem, could test you in a new profile? This would be disconnected from sync so it should not be affected by the problem parameters shared through this account.

  A new profile will be your plugins installed by system (for example, Flash) and extensions (e.g., security suite toolbars), but no themes, other extensions or other customizations. It should also have databases of completely fresh settings and cool a cache folder.

  Note: this will be in addition to your regular settings and not replace them.

  Exit Firefox and commissioning in the Profile Manager by using the start box menu (or run). Type or paste the following and press ENTER to run it:

  Do not delete anything here!

  Any time want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog box.

  Click on the button to create a profile, assign a name like TEST and ignore the ability to move the profile folder. After you create the profile, select it and start Firefox in this profile.

  Display images no matter what difference?

  When you return to the Profile Manager, you might be tempted to use the button to delete the profile. It's a little too easy to accidentally delete your 'real' profile, so I recommend you to resist the temptation.   Small text, is because you have told the browser to use 5pt font size in the body,td,th css declaration which is in the head section your pages code.(that's really small even for print)
