Difference between Horizon 6 Advanced and the company of 'unified portal' and Horizon 6 workspaces
Can someone do a bit of explanation for the following:
I am you are looking to understand the use of terminology in marketing and how it fits into the picture.
Terminology:
Workspace - VMware
VMware workspace - Horizon
Workspace Portal - VMware
-Unified Workspace
With the following references
- "Portal Workspace 2.0"VMwarefiles Horizon feature is deleted ' VMware Workspace Portal 2.0 Release Notes
- VMware Horizon workspace (notice the data sheet is still published but is a bit outdated)http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/workspace/VMware-Horizon-Workspace-Datasheet.pdf
- "Access to files and Applications from anywhere.
AND the use of the terminology "unified workspace.
What the "Unified Workspace" such as described in the "VMware workspace" link below different described also in the same document?
http://www.VMware.com/files/PDF/products/horizon-view/VMware-horizon-view-pricing-Licensing-FAQ.PDF
They seem to be different that the ability to share files is available under "VMware workspace.
There is good documentation on the item "VMware workspace.
http://www.VMware.com/files/PDF/Techpaper/VMware-horizon-workspace-reviewers-guide.PDF
But I can't find documentation on "Unified workspace" limited the video below speaks of a 'unified workspace", but has pictures showing"VMware workspace.
https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=2SstavM0r9A
More specifically,.
-Are they a portal with the various components of license? (I guess that's the case, but the documentation is very limited)
-They are two different portals?
If they are two different portals how both are integrated?
Help appreciated.
Hi Sean.
I can understand that it can be confusing, a lot of changes has been done in recent years.
The Horizon workspace file-sharing component were interrupted from Horizon Workspace 1.8.2 will finally be replaced by Airwatch Secure Content Locker.
I'll try to answer your questions:
1. - are they a portal with the various components of license? (I guess that's the case, but the documentation is very limited)
1. A: Yes, there is a single portal.
2 - they are two different portals?
2a: no, there are not two portals.
3. If they are two different portals how both are integrated?
3 A: there is only a single portal.
4. how the "Unified Workspace" such as described in the "VMware workspace" link below different described also in the same document?
4 A: its the same, it's just a way of describing the feature.

Try to explain the difference between a DPS application and a coded / from scratch app.
Guys, I need help. I'm writing a guide for my clients regarding the DPS. I want to include some information on the differences between a DPS App and a code app. Any of you have ever had to explain that, and if you have, what did you say?
The most obvious difference is that a DPS app is what you get InDesign and a coded app, you must have a coder. But what are the feature differences? As I am not a coder and do not have access to the resources of coding, I'm at a loss.
Thank you
Karen
They are large enough.
In short, the DPS is a solution or a framework that allows non-technical people to create content for use on multiple platforms, with various limitations by platform. Especially there sense for Magazines and newspapers as a platform target, with a few exceptions.
For example, DPS does not access the hardware device API, such as the cameras of the device, the GPS or accelerometer. Limits of the DPS depending on also what license you buy, for example, if they are a client of the company, they would be able to build a showcase custom, which is not available in the Pro licenses or simple editing.

I want to create a simulation of 3D on the front panel, and I see that we can use a 3D image control or a display of Simulator control. It seems that each of them can be used at the same position. What is the most important difference between 3D Picture control and display of Simulator?
Hi sfh1,
You are right, I found examples of Robotics that use 3D photo control and display Simulator control to display a scene 3D on the front panel. After further research, it seems that control the display of Simulator adds additional features compared to the 3D picture control. The control displays Simulator allows the user to right-click control during execution and change the background color, draw fashion, draw contact, view the ID of robot, display sensor data, suspension of service Simulator and reset service Simulator.
More in depth on these options and the display of control Simulator can be found here:

If you would like more information on the picture here 3D control is another resource:

What is the difference between HP Photo Creations and Snapfish
I've been curious.
What is the difference between HP Photo Creations and Snapfish?
Hi Jeff17866. The difference between these two services are the location, accessibility and share-ability of the recorded images. Snapfish is a photo on the web edition and sharing and belonged to printing HP service. You upload your images on the Snapfish site and share with other sites (Facebook, Flickr, etc) by selecting the appropriate options. The images are then stored on the cloud, and you will be able to access it from any device with Internet access. So, if you want to easily share your photos with your friends and family around the country, Snapfish is a great tool to do. HP Photo Creations is a photo editing software that you download to your desktop. You can edit your photos and order prints just as with Snapfish, but all pictures remain on your hard drive. They can be shared by downloading files on the sites you want the images appear, but you are not able to access it on other devices. -Chauntain

What is the difference between Windows XP Mode and Windows XP Mode "N".
It's confusing. Why are there two downloads of Windows XP Mode? And what is the difference between XP normal Mode and XP Mode "N"?
Thank you for your response.
The "n" of Windows versions contain no Windows Media Player. It is the result of an agreement with the European Commission to settle the dispute of the competition.

What is the difference between full Windows 7 and Windows 7 license generator system?
The Windows 7 System Builder license cost about $100.00 and the full Windows 7 on $190.00.
I am upgrading to Windows Vista 64 for Windows 7 64. It is true that I will lose everything on my drive hard because I'll need to do a clean install?

What is the difference between Windows 7 OEM and the retail version of Windows 7?
Can someone tell me, what is the difference between windows 7 OEM and sales vs retail?

There is no difference in the product itself.
Although if you get a generic OEM full version, it contains the
even software, it has the following disadvantages compared to the
commercial version:1. the biggest drawback of an OEM version (at least in the USA) is
that its license it permanently binds to the first computer, it is
installed on. He can never legally be moved to another computer, sold,
or given (except with the original computer). If the computer
dies or is stolen, your license dies with him.2. he can't do a clean install, not an upgrade.
3 Microsoft offers no support for OEM versions. You cannot call their
with a problem, but rather to secure the necessary support of your
OEM; who take in charge may go anywhere between property and non-existent. Or
You can get support elsewhere, like in these forums.

What is the difference between CTS-PRJTR-GEN1 and GEN2?
Hi, I want to know the difference CTS-PRJTR-GEN1 and GEN2-PRJTR-CTS.
Is GEN sense "generation"?
GEN is used for production in this case. We had 1 generation projectors from the start and as you might have been replaced by the generation 2. The difference between these projectors GEN1 and GEN2 were model types.
CTS-PRJTR-GEN1 was a Sanyo PLV - Z4 or Z5
CTS-PRJTR-GEN2 was a Sanyo PLV-Z700
I hope this helps you.

COUNT (1)

Elapsed time: 00:00:00.01
See that both give the same time
Do you really think the 100th's of a second it takes 6 rows from counting will truly representative of the difference it takes actually?
Such a small data set cannot possibly show no difference to these larger units of time (in the calculation of terms where we have millions of instructions per second in lieu)
As the link to the FAQ provided in the response of Anton (first response on this thread) Watch, count (1) and count (*) are essentially the same, except that count (1) actually get re-written by the query re - write the step of the optimization to make it count (*).
Generally 'count (*)' makes more sense language, because it reads like "count" while "count (1)" reads as "count we ', which does not have as much good sense when you actually count all.
