difference between RTSI or IFP in synchronization

Hi all

I have a small question on the difference between the PFI and RTSI pin used in synchronization. I have 6711 card and I'm going to use external clock to drive the analog output and the output of the meter. Someone said I can use PFI as a source and I have read the manual, it looks like I can use pin 20 MHz of RTSI as the temporal also. So if I plugged a clock 10 MHz on the pin of temporal RTSI, means all output is based on this clock? What do I have to configure the software to make it work? I it is confusing because RTSI has 8 pairs of poles and the first is a time base, there are some for the analog output, some for the analog input. I need of synchronizing the output meter and analog output. Should I change connect the external clock to the time base RTSI or connect to an analogue output RTSI and out of meter?

Hello there;

The main difference is that the purchased triggers or events generated from the PFI lines are synchronous with the data, so that they have a relationship of data/clock phase. On the other hand, triggers acquired with RTSI lines are not in sync with the data so that there may be no such relationship.

So pretty much if you need triggers and events to synchronize with the clock uses the PFI lines

Here is a KB with more information

It may be useful

Greetings

    What is the difference between vr and veeam for synchronization? Just for machine replica and sync?

  • What is the difference between REFin and PPSin? Can I use the PXI-5652 to synchronize USRPs?

    Hello world!

    I'm working on a project I want to synchronize 8 USRPs (USRP 2920) as receivers. And it seems that PXI-5652 has a connector REF, so I decide to use it as the reference of the USRPs 8 clock. But I don't know how to connect the PPSin, and in fact I'm confused of the difference between the REFin and PPSin.

    Thank you!

    Jay_c salvation,

    In short,.

    REF is the terminal for the device USRP to accept a signal from external reference frequency (10 Mhz).

    PPS is the terminal for the device USRP to accept a signal from external time source base clock (1 pulse per second)

    You can see this whitepaper for a detailed description of MIMO system about 8 * 8.

    Please refer to the section "time and frequency" for information specific to your question.

    I'm not sure whether you can use the specifically 5652 signal generator for your application.

    iCloud made only in iCloud, is usually not the part where you would hold pictures, it would be iCloud library that synchronizes your photos on your selected devices.

    With iCloud library enabled, you cannot delete a photo on a device (or iCloud.com) without deleting each device which uses iCloud photo library (iCloud.com). In order to save space on your mobile devices (and indeed your Mac if you want to) turn on the optimization of the pictures on these devices (settings > photos & camera > optimize storage on your mobile device and Photo preferences > optimize storage on your Mac)

    Dynamic optimization, it reduces the resolution of your photos, if necessary, so that you don't notice it occurring initially. However, when necessary, it is very effective, and users have reported libraries being optimized for much less than 10% of their original size in some cases. My own library is about 9% of its original on my phone size.

    In most cases, optimize your photos should be enough to alleviate space issues on your device. However, if you have an exceptionally large library you may need to disable iCloud photo library on your mobile device and use instead the photo stream. You can then use a computer to manage the photo stream photos and have them automatically imported into you iCloud photo library.

    Creative Cloud files are stored in your CC account synchronized.

    Document Cloud files are the only pdfs stored with the sync Acrobat DC system.

    The two are separate storage options. However, the DC option synchronizes perfectly with all your versions of Acrobat (mobile, desktop, etc.)

    Imagine a folio as content kind of as a book has pages.

    That said, you may not aware that only edition apps are no longer included in Creative cloud without a full account of DPS, you cannot create an app.

  • difference between the incremental update of the IKM oracle and incremental update IKM oracle (PL - SQL)

    Hello

    What is the difference between the incremental update of the IKM oracle and updated incremental IKM oracle (PL - SQL) and incremental update IKM oracle (line by line).

    Thank you

    Papai

    The only difference is that the second using plsql for incremental update. He also to manage clob issues well enough.

    If you need to know more you can read the description of each KM section.

    Incremental update IKM Oracle (PL-SQL)

    -------

    Description:

    -Knowledge integration module

    -Integrates data into an Oracle table from target in incremental update mode using PL/SQL.

    -Non-existent rows are inserted. already existing lines are updated.

    -Data can be controlled. Data invalid are isolated in the error Table and can be recycled.

    -This KM uses PL/SQL to perform the inserts and updates until and blob columns are supported. Please see the restrictions.

    -When you use this module with a source table logged, it is possible to synchronize the deletions.

    Restrictions:

    -When working with the logged data, if the "synchronize destruction of the newspaper" are executed, the lines deleted on the target are engaged

    -The data are updated even if not changed (upgrade from any (e)

    -The number of lines (number of inserts/changes) is not available because the transactions are performed using PL/SQL

    -Comparison of the data is performed using the key to update defined in the interface. It must be set.

    -L'option TRUNCATE does not work if the target table is referenced by another table (foreign key)

    -Options FLOW_CONTROL, and STATIC_CONTROL call the Module knowledge check to isolate invalid data (if no CKM is defined, an error occurs). These two options should be set to NO in the case where an integration Interface meets a TEMPORARY target data store.

    -L' FLOW_TABLE_OPTION option is set by default to NOLOGGING. Set it to a space if the interface is running on an Oracle 7 database

    -Deletions are committed regardless of the VALIDATION option

  • Difference between redo logfiles, Undo Tablespace, Archive log data file

    Can some please highlight the difference between Undo and Redo Logs
    Also why we need to separate the archive logs when the recovery log data can be written directly in data files...

    Help you will be highly appreciated...

    Hello

    Ed gave you a very good answer.

    Rememeber database files are online and they are written to by DBWR process. So we have the database files, redo log files and archive logs.
    In order to avoid all the crawl log when you perform a recovery, database performs control points that summarize the State of the database. This operation of control point provides a shortcut to the recovery. At the checkpoint, the database knows that all incorrect pages were written to disk (for example, database files). At the time of recovery, the log (which includes-finished and unfinished transactions) is used to bring the database to a consistent state. The system locates the time of the last checkpoint and returned to this position in the log file. Then he restores forward all completed transactions (read committed) that occurred after the last checkpoint and rolls back all transactions that were not committed, but that began before the last checkpoint. This is where online log files are used.

    Now imagine that you need to back up your database GB 100 + all 10 minutes. It would be a waste of space! So you take a backup of your database at time t and backups of archiver process redo logs periodically to check the newspapers so that redo log files can be replaced and RMAN will use the last backup and archive the log files to recover your database at the time.

    Now, I mentioned the checkpoint process. The Checkpoint process regularly launches a control point that uses DBWR to rewrite all the blocks Sales in the data files, so synchronize the database. Imagine one dam is running and have exhausted all the redo log files. At this point, Oracle will wait until all Sales already queued blocks have been written to the buffer on disk (database files) foremost him redo log files can be considered as superfluous and available for re-use (i.e. can be overwritten). This will result in the following message in the alert.log:

    Thread 1 advanced to log sequence 17973
      Current log# 3 seq# 17973 mem# 0: /oracle/data/HAM1/log3aHAM1.dbf
      Current log# 3 seq# 17973 mem# 1: /oracle/data/HAM1/log3bHAM1.dbf
    Thread 1 cannot allocate new log, sequence 17974
    Checkpoint not complete
      Current log# 3 seq# 17973 mem# 0: /oracle/data/HAM1/log3aHAM1.dbf
      Current log# 3 seq# 17973 mem# 1: /oracle/data/HAM1/log3bHAM1.dbf
    Thread 1 advanced to log sequence 17974

    I am sure you have done the following:

    alter database mount;

    Database altered.

    When you mount a database, Oracle combines the instance started the database. Oracle control files are opened and read. However, no checking such as the restore/recovery is performed

    alter database open;

    Database altered.

    An open command opens the data files, recovery logs, it performs automatic and consistency of database recovery. At this point, the database is now ready to be used by all valid users.

  • What is the difference between TopLink Essentials & EclipseLink?

    What is the difference between TopLink Essentials & EclipseLink?
    What is the best?

    EclipseLink

    EclipseLink is the open source Eclipse Foundation Eclipse persistence Services project. The software provides an extensible framework that allows Java developers to interact with the various services of data, including databases web services, mapping of the object XML (OXM), and Enterprise Information System (EIS). EclipseLink supports a number of persistence standards, including:

    * Java Persistence API (JPA)
    * Java API for XML Binding (JAXB)
    * Java Connector Architecture (JCA)
    * Service Data Objects (SDO).

    EclipseLink is based on the TopLink product, which Oracle contributed the source code to create the EclipseLink project. The original contribution came from the code base of TopLink 11g, and contributed all of the code-base/a feature, with only some EJB 2 CMP and some specific integration Oracle deleted AS minors. This differs from the contribution of TopLink Essentials Glassfish, which excluded some key enterprise features. The package names were changed and some of the code and configuration has been moved.

    The user of Workbench TopLink Mapping interface also contributes to the project.

    EclipseLink is the way forward for persistence for Oracle and TopLink. It is expected that the next major version of Oracle TopLink will include EclipseLink as well as the next major release of Oracle ACE.

    EclipseLink supports usage in an OSGi environment.

    Sun Microsystems has selected the EclipseLink project either for JPA 2.0 reference implementation.

    TopLink Essentials
    TopLink Essentials is the implementation of reference of the EJB 3.0 Java Persistence API (JPA) and the edition of the open-source community of Oracle TopLink product. TopLink Essentials is a limited version of the specialty. For example, TopLink Essentials doesn't provide synchronization between a cluster application cache, a cache invalidation strategy and Cache query.

  • Difference between fetch and cache

    Anyone know the difference between recovery and caching when ITS analyses a source? In the document below under Maintenance crawls, it says in step 4 that the robot will pick up the item. This means - it downloads in the memory of the Server HIS?

    He also says, in step 5, it compares the checksum of the file that is located in the cache. Is this the same cache is place of conservation for indexed content needs? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you
    dhartle

    Here's the source document: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10502_01/doc/search.1018/e10418/crawler.htm#i1004689

    Analysis of maintenance
    After the initial analysis, a page of the URL is only ramp and indexed if it has changed since the last scan. The robot determines if it has changed with the HTTP If-Modified-Since header field or the checksum for the page. URL that no longer exist are marked and removed from the index.

    To update the modified documents, the robot uses an internal checksum to compare the new Web pages with caching of Web pages. Change of Web pages are cached and marked for re-indexing.

    The steps involved in the synchronization of the data are:

    1 oracle creates the robot according to the schedule that you specify with the administration tool. The queue of the URL is filled with the URLS of seeds of the source assigned to the schedule.
    2. the robot launches several crawling threads.
    3. each chenille wire removes the following URL in the queue.
    4. Each robot thread retrieves the document from the Web. The page is usually an HTML file containing text and hyperlinks. When the document is not in HTML format, the robot tries to convert the document to HTML before caching.
    5. each chenille wire calculates a checksum for the newly recovered page and compared to the checksum of the cached page. If the checksum is the same, then the page is ignored, and the robot goes to step 3. In the contrary case, the robot will move to the next step.
    6. each chenille wire Scans the document hyperlinks and inserts new links in the queue of the URL. The links that are already in the document table are ignored. (Oracle ITS doesn't follow links binary documents filtered.)
    7. the robot marks the URL as "accepted". The URL is parsed in the future, maintenance tests.
    8. the robot saves the URL in the document table.
    9. If the file system cache is full or the URL queue is empty, the cached Web page stops and commences. Otherwise, the thread of Caterpillar again step 3.

    "This means it downloads in the memory of the Server HIS?"-Yes.

    "He also said to step 5 that it compares the checksum of the file that is located in the cache. Is this the same cache which is the place of conservation for content that is indexed? "- Yes, but I'm sure that the checksum (as calculated to the last time) is stored in a table, so that it is not actually access the cached file.
