  The incorrect behavior on XML binary is probably due to bug 9194655. This problem has been fixed in 11.2.0.1.

• Firefox crashes all the time, this list is not in safe mode. What is the difference instead of the plugins and supplements?

  My browser crashes every time and I must reduce and restore the browser to make it work. I disabled all add-ins and plugins in 'normal' mode, deleted my profile and created a new one, reset firefox and the problem persists, drunk when I run firefox in mode safe, everything works very well. Is there anything else instead of disabling add-ins and plugins this safe mode doesn't so I do it in standard mode?

  Another thing is that my computer is under domain, and other local users on my computer don't have any problem with the browsers.

• Differences in behavior in 11 g to indicate the LOV is available for a field

  People,
  
  Would appreciate some patience when you answer this question, because it would be obvious to those of you who deal with forms on a daily basis and have done for years. I'm a DBA who came recently in a small shop where I get to do some thing/all which has the name of Oracle on it. We have a Forms application that has been around for a long time. I just migration of databases and our Forms/application on Linux Server (version 5.6 (Tikanga) of OEL 5 Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server) and the last stack (Weblogic 10.3.4 Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.4). We were on Forms 10gR 1, I think that, since the version indicated by opatch says "Oracle Application Server forms and reports Services 10 g 9.0.4.0.0."
  
  So, I installed the software WLS/FMW on the new box, configured and it guaranteed without any major problems. I copied on the * .fmb of old for nine box and their migration using the tool/script...then compiled all forms in 11 g and got again * of .fmx. There were several warnings during migration on deprecated features, but no error... our Forms application is quite simple in nature... nothing really complex that I've encountered so far.
  
  While we tested, our users have noticed two changes in the behavior that bothered them.
  (1) they have been accustomed to see points of suspension (...) appear on the far right in the field, if there is an associated LOV. They still get a message at the bottom that there is an LOV, but no visual indication in the field itself. And they can do a Ctrl-L to display the LOV, as before.
  (2) when they navigate using the mouse to a field, it is used to highlight the whole field so that they can re - type the value. Now, he puts just the cursor exactly where they sailed in the area. Tab and in the field will highlight the whole area for re - type.
  
  I watched for a while and you don't see any property to get either a behavior to return the value. I compared the property sheets for the previous version of property sheets for the current version... and all the properties and the values appear to be exactly the same.
  
  Can someone tell me if this is expected (i.e. 'live with it') behavior or if there is something that I missed in the configuration of the application? I have been away from forms since Forms 4.5/Developer 2000 called, so part of the behavior may well be the new way of things. I also watched the *.env files and entries appear the same (essentially all faults - aspect, etc.). I might just miss something manuals (that look amazingly similar because they study at the end of the 1990s).

  For the first question, I'm not sure about ellipsis in the corner of the field, but you can try to set app.ui.lovButtons = true in the registry.dat file.
  This file in 11g should be in $DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmrconfig/servers/WLS_FORMS/applications/formsapp_11.1.1/config/forms/registry/oracle/forms/... Easy to find ;)

  Regarding the second question, in 11 g of the matches of the behavior is changed. You can work around by using built-in SELECT_ALL. You can call it in click When starting at the level of the form.

• Differences in the behavior of a Cork in CS6 and CS5.5

  I noticed a difference in behavior of plugin in CS6 and CS5.5.

  In a SequenceSetup function the following call generates a PF_Cmd_ARBITRARY_CALLBACK in CS6 with the State PF_Arbitrary_FLAT_SIZE_FUNC of the additional parameter. The PF_Cmd_ARBITRARY_CALLBACK even appears later in a plugin works and does not work properly in CS6. Although there is no problem with this function in CS5.5, it generates no odd events.

  The problem was not in the call to PF_GetCurrentState. We use multithreading to manage an image in our plugin. And each thread must call PF_Progress callback in turn. But it turned out that "no reminder æ is thread-safe unless explicitly indicated.

  You are right to make a copy. In Flex, the tables are references, if this assignment: random [k] = sireLinkedP [i] affects [k] random real behind sireLinkedP [i] matrix instead of a copy. Who is?

• Skillbuilders Save on exit and form Plugin tabular popup LOVs in IE

  I currently use the Skillbuilders Save on exit for a tabular presentation plugin and have a problem that only happens in Internet Explorer (tried 8 and 9) - it does not occur in Chrome or Firefox. I created the dynamic Action for the plugin to execute when the Page is loaded according to instructions.
  
  My present tabular presentation of the fields that are popup LOVs. If in IE, I change the value of a field in the form of tables and then click on the LOV Save output warning goes off and I have to click OK on warning before my LOV popup window appears. For existing records I have overcome this problem by changing the switch to disable the warning :

  The question I have now is when I add a new line to the tabular form using the button "Add a line" standard. If I change the value of a field on the new line, and then click the LOV I get the Save on the output warning message. I suppose that it is not deleted in the same way that it was for existing records, because the new line does not exist at the time wherever the dynamic Action then ran the lov (link) has not been added to the disabled items.
  
  I would like to know the following, please? :
  * Is there a known difference in behavior a popup LOV in IE form (which seems to act as if you leave the page) compared to say Firefox?
  * Is it possible to add the link LOV popup on the new line of tabular form it also disables the warning?

  Hi Karl,

  The difference is that IE (wrongly) raises the onbeforeunload event whenever you click an anchor point, even if the anchor does not take the user to another page - as is the case with the Popup LOV.

  Unfortunately, the plug-in must ensure that its code is executed before any other thing which is the reason why he's working onload. The only thing I can think is that you manually add the same functionality yourself using the public methods. For example, when a new row is added through the form of tables, you must add a click handler to anchor LOV. The call, click on:

• Behavior inconsistent performance Oracle query

  Consider the following query:

  This query is performed on a table that has 10 000 000 entries. While running the query Oracle SQL Developer or my application it takes 4 minutes to run! Unfortunately, it's also the behaviour within the application I am writing. Change the value of 1000 to 10 has no impact, which suggests that he made a full table scan.

  Can you check your preferences of SQL Developer under database-> NLS and ensure that sorting is set to BINARY? I wonder if either he is on something else in SQL Developer or maybe your by default, the database is not BINARY and squirrel is assigning BINARY when connecting.

  Hi Newbie question here. I downloaded and installed desktop phonegap, I created a phonegap project that I ran on the application of the emulator on my phone.

  Please note that the developer PG App is not an emulation perfect environment that receives a compiled application. It's really cool and good to use for quick iteration, but there are cases where you will encounter differences. The media plugin is one of them - in a compiled application, your sound is perhaps in the application bundle, but that would break the App Dev PG because the beam refers to the PG Dev app, not /your/ app. Information plugin, OTH, network should work without differences (AFAIK).

  Infrastructure of the plugin and instructions to add to your project have changed over the years and so the docs have evolved in this direction. Many documents continue to include the manual installation instructions. As a general rule, if the docs say they are compatible with the CLIs of PG/Cordova, use the command 'Add a plugin of cordova' that they provide. Plugins can be installed this way will provide a "plugin.xml" file in their repo.

  Remember, however, when you use the PhoneGap developer application, have access to the base plugins more some additional plugins. This means that if the plugin is not compiled into the App Dev PG, you can not use, regardless what is your config file. XML (PG Dev App is NOT analysis config.xml). You can either:

  • Create a version of the PG Dev App containing the plugins you want to use for your use
  • Install PhoneGap / LCIs of Cordova and build your application directly
  • Build your application using PhoneGap Build

  When you use the LCIs, you add a plugin like this:

  cordova plugin add cordova-plugin-some-plugin-id --save
  

  The -Save switch will update your file config.xml properly to include the plugin. I suggest you ensure that you also to pin your plugins for a specific version so that you don't accidentally later shoot a newer version and break your code in unexpected ways.

• This is expected behavior with master isolation?

  I test HA in a vSphere cluster 5.1 and I want to know if the behavior seen when a master is isolated is normal.

  I have 2 knots in my dev Setup. When I isolate my slave (host B) virtual machine stays on as planned (response of isolation leave it powered on).
  Host B shows that does not and the virtual machine is disconnected, so this works as expected.

  When I isolate my master (host A) of network management of the electoral process unfolds.  Host A show that does not as expected. My virtual machine appears as turned on host B off.
  The diary of events for the virtual machine tells me that

  -the VM is off on host B

  -l' host B cannot open the VMX file

  -vSphere HA switched in vain this virtual machine

  All the while my VM is accessible and functional. As soon as the host has is is more isolated my VM appears as again propelled this issue.
  If everything seems to work as it should, but in vCenter messages say otherwise. Is this normal?

  When I simulate a failed host everything works as expected, regardless of whether it is master or slave

  The behavior you're seeing is planned.

  Let's start with your recent tests. When you remove the current master of the management network, the other FDM is still able to communicate with the master, and so it reconnects with the 2nd network. The election you are seeing is the result of this process - the slave FDM lost access to the master, drops in the State of the election, received a message 'am master' of a master and connected. A master of FDM sends 'Master am' election messages on all its management networks every second and a slave will connect to the master using any network of which he received this message.

  VC reports no master, as you alluded to, is because the VC cannot communicate with the master. VC knows that there is a master because the other FDM would have said what is the master. I'll drop a PR for us to improve the text of question config.

  Regarding your original posting, I think that the difference of behavior you observed is due to a problem that we have fixed in version 5.5. When you have isolated the master, a new master election occurred. There is a race (we closed) between the new master learning that on the old host virtual machines are turned on and the main workflow for the restart of virtual machines. • How to stop Safari diversion on my imac

  I get diverted into Safari in El Capitan on my iMac.  I'm getting diverted to tabs for Mackeeper, Mac Reimage, Internetcarguide and a few others.  I deleted the history of the site, deleted the Safari web caches, disabled the extensions and plugins and completed the following. The effects were zero.

  Delete the file of configuration of Safari:

  1. Open the Go menu in the OS X Finder
  2. Hold the Option key and choose the library option that appears
  3. Move the folder "Safari" here on your desktop

  Remove the Safari window state:

  1. Open the library > folder state saved application
  2. Find the folder "com.apple.Safari.savedState".
  3. Move this file to the trash

  Remove the Safari application caches:

  1. Open the library > Caches folder
  2. Find all files starting with "com.apple.Safari".
  3. Move these files to the trash.

  Delete Safari Cookies configurations:

  1. Open the library > Cookies folder
  2. Delete the file called "com.apple.Safari.SafeBrowsing.binarycookies".

  Delete the preferences of Safari:

  1. Open the library > Preferences folder
  2. Delete all files starting with "com.apple.Safari".

  Remove the user plug-ins:

  1. Go to library > Internet Plug-Ins folder

  I built the app BlackBerry Hello World (from samples from the BlackBerry site developer) by using the following:

  Eclipse version 3.4.0 installation

  BlackBerry JDE plugin for Eclipse 1.0.0.67

  BlackBerry JDE 4.6.0.19 component package

  The app is supported very well.

  The app works well in the Simulator.

  I use Eclipse to generate the ALX file.

  Then I try to transfer the file ALX for my BlackBerry Tour using:

  BlackBerry Desktop Manager 5.0.0.8.

  When I try to transfer, I get the following error message:

  "This application is not compatible with your device and cannot be loaded.

  I tried different versions of the package component BlackBerry JDE (4.7, 4.6.1, and 4.5) with no difference in behavior.  Also, I don't think that I use an API that require signature.

  Someone had this problem and was able to remedy?

  The trick works OS 4.7.1

  You will need to compile the code using 4.7

  What version of office is this? Might not be compatible with the tour?

  Try the application on your device using javaloader (utility that ships with the JDE - check the bin directory).

• Should what development environment I use?

  Environment: 32-bit Windows 7, latest development environment Sun's Java, Visual Studio 8 most recent plugin beta BlackBerry 9700 Simulator works very well in the white list remote .NET/ASP/SQL Server 2008 to use as remote as possibly .asp page direct service calls, XMLHTTP and server applications.

  I would like some advice on what development product that I use.  I tried to use the version of Visual Studio Web plugin 2.0 beta 1.  Unfortunately I was having limited success and because I can't debug in this version of the plugin, I do a double page web/JavaScript on an ASP site debugging without any reference to blackberry.xxx until I am convinced then I copy the code in the index.htm or my BlackBerryActions.js and give it a try.  Unfortunately, without debug in version 2.0 beta 1 environment that I cannot use alert orders to see what is happening and the differences in behavior between the browser and the plug-in are important.  It's very painful, but I'm making slow progress.

  I also spent a day and 1/2 trying to download an Eclipse environment without success.  I tried several versions of the site referring to the documentation on the BB site and the various messages and I couldn't get the dependencies to the point where I could get the plug-in to install because of addiction.

  I feel that most of the applications that are built and are running and sold are applications in java environment makes full using Eclipse or the old environment.

  So I have three questions:

  (1) should I consider the Visual Studio Plugin 1.1 backup so that I can debug?  What do I lose?

  (2) I have can I just make the leap into the complete java development environment?

  (3) is there any web business success product plug-ins in the world of the app that I could look at to see what is possible.  My favorite so far is the Bloomberg application.  My impression is that it was built in the Java development environment.  This is the type of application, I'm only doing with more features.

  The debugging support is coming for Web 2.0, plugin towards the end of this month (March)

• LR SDK: publishServiceProvider.getCommentsFromPublishedCollection () - documentation error

  I am currently working on the support to the comments to my post supplier (for Synology's photostable), which is essentially done by the three hooks:

  • publishServiceProvider.getCommentsFromPublishedCollection)
  • publishServiceProvider.addCommentToPublishedPhoto)
  • publishServiceProvider.canAddCommentsToService)

  While the implementation is simple, I had trouble getting the comments posted in the comments Panel: I could see the number of comments, but not the comments themselves. In addition to the system became really unstable and reload the plugin does not work correctly. Instead, I had to restart Lr loaded each time to get the code changes.

  I took a few hours until I have finally realized that the documentation and the sample of Flickr are mistaken on the use of the comment callback function. Instead of:

  commentCallback {publishedPhoto = photoInfo, comments = commentList}

  It must be:

  commentCallback ({publishedPhoto = photoInfo, comments = commentList})

  This all happened in Lr 6.3 / Windows 7.

  I suspect that the documentation and code samples for:

  • publishServiceProvider.getRatingsFromPublishedCollection ():

  ratingCallback {publishedPhoto = photoInfo, side = rating}

  should also be replaced with:

  ratingCallback ({publishedPhoto = photoInfo, side = rating})

  Not yet tested, however.

  Can someone confirm my observation?

  Hmm, in Lua, 'f {a}' is syntactically equivalent 'f ({a}).  So there is no difference between these two lines:

  commentCallback {publishedPhoto = photoInfo, comments = commentList}

  commentCallback ({publishedPhoto = photoInfo, comments = commentList})
