Difficult to read stamp cancels
I'm a stamp collector, I need a simple way to read cancels on stamps over 100 years, sometimes it seems to me if I removed the stamp image and just leave cancel it would be a big advantage for me.
Hi, SGTM. Thompson,
OK, a couple of things different on your workstation. First, it was created in the Microsoft answers Site Feedback Forum. This is the section dedicated to questions about the site itself and not necessarily computer issues. The moderation team has moved your question to the Forum of programs where the answers community can consider your question and provide assistance on this issue.
Secondly, I have no idea of the type of program you would be again to achieve these objectives.
What programs do you currently use?
I advise you to do a Bing search for philately.

The fonts are pixelated, blurry, difficult to read and I do not have IT cleartype
I have an acer x203h of two monitors and a 17-inch dell monitor. Acer uses firefox and chrome the dell. I repeat that my cleartype is enabled. Firefox does not make the page correctly most of the time and then just turn pixelated, blurry, difficult to read, etc. Top page down helps sometimes travel sometimes do not. I move firefox to the monitor dell and it rasterizes less but still doesn't work. Chrome isn't Pixelize on each monitor, but it seems a little fuzzy. I've only use it for windows updates. More do the less chance of the police pixellisant.
The current font is Arial size 18. Proportional is San Serif with the rest of the choices in Arial. Allow pages to choose their own pages is checked.

My home page is extremely small and difficult to read without a magnifying glass.
When my home page is displayed, it is extremely small and difficult to read. How to enlarge or expand this page?
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: view > Zoom > reset (Ctrl + 0 (zero); Cmd + 0 on Mac)
- Press F10, or press the Alt key to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.
You can use an extension to set a page zoom and the size of the default font on the web pages.

Before that I've upgraded to Firefox 6.0, the URL was displayed in black text.
After the upgrade, it is now showing only the main domain name ( mozilla.com, for example) in the text in black, so that any additional text (like, https://support.) is grayed out.
It is very difficult to read this gray text on my monitor. I would like to make sure the full address is displayed in black text, but I couldn't find any type of configuration setting under Options to change that.
Please let me know if I can change the display of the URLS back to black.
This is a new feature in Firefox to highlight the domain in the URL bar. You can change a preference to do the full URL darkness.
Change a preference:
- type of topic: config in the location/URL bar and press ENTER.
- If you see a warning, accept (promise to be careful)
- Filter: browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled
- in the lower panel, double click on this item to toggle the value false
I don't know if yes or no you must restart Firefox after doing the above to have the change take effect. Test, and if it does not, then restart Firefox and test again.

Some fonts have recently changed their appearance and are difficult to read.
I remember not exactly where I read this, but... I think I can remove a recent update (KB3013455) to clarify an issue with some policies that have changed in appearance that make them difficult to read. However, I don't want to take the risk of a security problem. I use a laptop Toshiba Satellite old 8 year with Vista and cannot afford to upgrade.

When you print from a website, the font size is very small and difficult to read. How can I increase the font size?
Hello
You can shrink before sending it to the printer (also enlarge).
Just use the Print > print preview
Under retractable small drop to the bottom of the window, simply select the correct % for you.
Kind regards.

Trouble in difficult to read InDesign messages
I may be the only person who feels this way, but the red dark on dark gray background text is very difficult to read.
What are my options if I change to make the text readable for me.
I think the issue is the message in red text when you set the interface to the darkness. It would be more readable on a light interface, which can be set in the preferences > Interface.
That's probably all you can do. But if you want to request a change, here's where to send:

Cannot open PDFs in Reader after canceling the Acrobat subscription
Dear Adobe,
I have a case # 0185794056. It is a purchase of Pro XI and a cancellation in a short time after. Since the cancellation of the XI Pro, I had difficulties to access the drive. When I click to open a file in the drive, I get a message saying that I need to renew my subscription Pro XI. What can we do?
Sincerely,
Brian Razak
Hi Brian,.
If I understand correctly, you are clicking on a PDF in the hope of opening in the drive, but it opens (or tent) to open it in Acrobat Pro, instead. Is this the case?
Did you uninstall Acrobat Pro after having cancelled your subscription? If this isn't the case, I would start there. Or, you can also associate the PDF Reader file name extension, instead of Pro (the steps vary depending on the operating system).
Please let us know how it goes.
Best,
Sara
