Digital signature custom

I need to create a snap custom digital signature and I wonder what would be the easiest to take route.

There must be some fields that the user must fill in a user interface, and it should also go to our database online and get custom of the person signing.

The signature is a set of their signature actualwritten. These areas and the signature must go in the visible block, then it must be signed.

My questions are: is all of this possible with the Acrobat API (I guess)?

Should I do as a plug-in, or use javascript? Which would be a lot less time?

I have reviewed the documentation, and it seems as if all my needs could be made using JS, then that would be the simplest method.

I just need to know if anything can be done before I start on this path there.

Thank you! I use Acrobat 8.1 SDK and Acrobat 8 Professional on Windows XP-based computers.

Yes, it is possible.

You will need to write a plugin, which is the only set of APIs that are rich enough.

Look at the different samples in the SDK for signatures, stamping of images etc.

  • Digital signatures / Custom Signature Logo

    Good morning-

    I get quickly acclimated to the concept of digital signatures as my employer is stiving to a paperless office.  I have several questions which have developed, but I'll start by (hopefully) an easy one:

    When one aspect of the digital signature is beign created, one option is 'Logo', which will place the Adobe "A" behind the image signature information and timestamp.  Is it possible to put a custom logo behind there - as the emblem of my company?

    Thank you very much

    Warren

    Hey Warren,

    The answer is Yes, you can replace the clover PDF (it is not the software Adobe A) with your own logo as a background. Open the image file in Acrobat, and it will be converted to a PDF file. You don't crop the image. For that, you have Acrobat Adobe Reader free software cannot convert images to PDF. The next thing is to save the file with a specific name and a specific location.

    The name of file, you will use is SignatureLogo.pdf and there is no space in the name of the file to note. You must save the file in the following location:

    • Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\\Security
    • Vista or Win 7: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\\Security
    • Macintosh: \Users\\Library\Application Support\Adobe\Acrobat\\Security

    I'm sure you understand that will match the name of the logged in user and is the current major version of Acrobat or Reader. Although Acrobat and Reader to settle in different locations and even use separate registry entries, they share the users application data directory.

  • Problem with a digital signature on a Windows installation DVD

    I bought a new laptop which has Windows 8.1, but I rather have Windows 7. This is why I bought a new copy of Windows 7 Home Premium, on a DVD. I think it's authentic. The DVD has holograms fantasies around the hub, which would probably be difficult to simulate. Unfortunately, the installation does not work. He gets regarding copying the files from the DVD and compression of the CAB files. The computer restarts and the installation is stopped due to an error. It seems that the file C:\~WINDOWS\~BT\System32\winload.efi has a digital signature that can be verified. The file must come from the DVD. The same file in the data Windows 8.1 is a part of Microsoft, and it has a valid digital signature. How does it all, that the same file from the DVD is not recognized by Microsoft?

    It is possible, in the F8 advanced boot options, key to select an option 'Disable driver signing checking', but I can't make it work. The setting is lost when the system reboots and no amount of pressure on the F8 key it will answer. In msdn some additional ways are described, to disable driver signing checking, but I'm not confident about their use. In any case, I wouldn't tinkering like that, with a DVD so-called Microsoft authentic.

    Can someone help, please?

    Hello

    To answer your question, windows $. ~ BT is a startup folder temporary created during the installation of Windows that has the installation log entries.
    As for the freezing of the installation, I believe that the problem is with your media so please check if the media is corrupt.
    You try to install on another computer for cross-checking if the media is corrupt.

    Try to perform a custom Setup to disconnect all external devices.

    Are you dual boot Windows 7 and 8.1?

  • How to add email address to digital signature without unique name

    When I create a digital signature it allows me to enter the e-mail address.  The only way I can get on the signature e-mail is changing the name unique appearance and checking.  When I check what he adds my new name, location and e-mail address.  Is it possible to have only the name, email address and date?

    Thank you

    email is a part of the unique name and you get either all or nothing. You can activate strange name and/or Date when you create a custom look. Try using the latest version of Acrobat XI. I remember there were a few minor changes in appearances custom last year (or was it in Acrobat MS only, I don't remember).

  • How can I add my email address to my digital signature?

    In the past, whenever I've digitally PDF documents, signed my used email address appears next to my digital signature in Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.0.  However, because I bought a new computer and upgraded to Windows 10 when I sign digitally a document my e-mail does not appear next to my signature.

    How can I add my email address to my digital signature?  And why it no longer appear?

    Are you still using Acrobat 9? If so, BONE is not important. If you use a signature certificate that contains no email field (it's optional) now?

    I believe that most users did not want to send in the appearance of the default signature, so it was deleted. If you are now using a newer version of Acrobat, as 11 or DC, you can create a custom look in which you must check "Distinguished Name". This is where email comes in the certificate.

  • Replace the digital signature with handwritten signature?

    Is it possible for someone to doorwindow sign a pdf document, and the signature to this person blocks converts written signature? any help in this would be helpful. Thank you

    Reply to Dhingra Sukrit refers to other than digital signatures. If you want to use the digital signature, you can create a custom look. Take a picture of your signature and place this image in your custom look (preferences-> Signatures-> design & appearance-> more...). You need Acrobat. You can create custom Reader appearances.

  • Digital signature not work?

    Hello

    I've never done this before and am wondering if it will work.

    I use Acrobat 9 pro extended. I am creating and sending a copyright agreement pdf file which must be signed by the customer and me.  Using the form I can put fields of digital signature of editing mode.  Then again in editing mode normal when I click on a field, it brings the dialog box sign with my name already selected and choose sign puts my digital signature. I don't remember what I did previously for my name to be available, but I remember digitally sign pdf documents in the past. I don't know if my client has previously signed a PDF file, but I want it to be as smooth as possible, and assuming the worst case, I wonder if they will be able to sign, what troubles potential they may have, and what are the instructions should I give them as well as the pdf?

    I would much appreciate your help

  • Adding JS to Digital Signature fields programmatically

    Hello, I have a JavaScript that fills my adobe with 3 document signature fields and 3 fields of date in one place, then, the same code put JS in the tab calculate date as required fields.  What I can't seem to know is how to fill the signature with the JS I need for them to have as well.

    Below is the code for the custom action I created:

    First, acquire the box of culture for the Page #1

    var aCropRect = this.getPageBox("Crop",0);

    Calculate the rectangle on the implementation of the text box.

    Field is in the title to the signature block

    var nRight = aCropRect [2] / 1;

    Field is above the bottom 162pts, width 250 points, high 50 points

    var rectFld = [];

    rectFld [0] = nRight-350; Left side is 150pts on the left of the right

    rectFld [1] = aCropRect + 212 [3];  The upper side is 400pts over background

    rectFld [2] = nRight-100; Right side is - 25pts right of the right

    rectFld [3] = aCropRect + 162 [3];  The background is 360pts above the bottom of the box of culture

    Add the field

    var oFld = this.addField ("Signature1", "signature", 0, rectFld);

    Field is greater than the low, broad, 162pts 78 high points 50 points

    var rectFld = [];

    rectFld [0] = nRight-98; Left side is 98pts left of the right

    rectFld [1] = aCropRect + 212 [3];  The upper side is 212pts over background

    rectFld [2] = nRight-20; Right side is 20pts to the right of the right

    rectFld [3] = aCropRect + 162 [3];  The background is 162pts above the bottom of the box of culture

    Add the field

    var oFld = this.addField ("DATE_1", "text", 0, rectFld);

    ACCCT var = "if (!)". this.getField(\"Signature1\").value) this.getField(\"DATE_1\").value = "\". « ;

    this.getField("DATE_1").setAction ("Calculate", ccalc);

    Field is greater than the low 225pts, width 250 points, high 50 points

    var rectFld = [];

    rectFld [0] = nRight-350; Left side is 350pts left of the right

    rectFld [1] = aCropRect [3] + 275;  The upper side is 275pts over background

    rectFld [3] = aCropRect + 225 [3];  The background is 225pts above the bottom of the box of culture

    Add the field

    rectFld [3] = aCropRect + 225 [3];  The background is 225pts above the bottom of the box of culture

    Add the field

    var oFld = this.addField ("DATE_2", "text", 0, rectFld);

    ACCCT var = "if (!)". this.getField(\"Signature2\").value) this.getField(\"DATE_2\").value = "\". « ;

    this.getField("DATE_2").setAction ("Calculate", ccalc);

    Field is greater than the low 495pts, 75 points wide, high 25 points

    var rectFld = [];

    rectFld [0] = nRight-200; Left side is 150pts on the left of the right

    rectFld [1] = aCropRect + 520 [3];  The upper side is 520pts over background

    rectFld [2] = nRight-125; Right side is 125pts to the right of the right

    rectFld [3] = aCropRect + 495 [3];  The background is 495pts above the bottom of the box of culture

    Add the field

    var oFld = this.addField ("Signature3", "signature", 0, rectFld);

    Field is greater than the low 495pts, width 60 points, high 25 points

    var rectFld = [];

    rectFld [0] = nRight-110; Left side is 110pts left of the right

    rectFld [1] = aCropRect + 520 [3];  The upper side is 520pts over background

    rectFld [2] = nRight-50; Right side is 50pts to the right of the right

    rectFld [3] = aCropRect + 495 [3];  The background is 495pts above the bottom of the box of culture

    Add the field

    var oFld = this.addField ("DATE_3", "text", 0, rectFld);

    ACCCT var = "if (!)". ' this.getField(\"Signature3\").value) this.getField(\"DATE_3\").value =------"------" (util.printd (\"mm/dd/yyyy\ ', Date() ')) new";

    this.getField("DATE_3").setAction ("Calculate", ccalc);

    Here are the things I need in the fields of signature respectively...

    If (! this.getField(\'Signature1\').value) (this.getField(\'DATE_1\').value) =------"------" (this.getField(\'DATE_1\').value = util.printd ("mm/dd/yyyy", new Date()));

    If (! this.getField(\'Signature2\').value) (this.getField(\'DATE_2\').value) =------"------" (this.getField(\'DATE_2\').value = util.printd ("mm/dd/yyyy", new Date()));

    If (! this.getField(\'Signature3\').value) (this.getField(\'DATE_3\').value) =------"------" (this.getField(\'DATE_3\').value = util.printd ("mm/dd/yyyy", new Date()));

    I guess it starts like that, but don't have any idea...

    var s = this.getField ("Signature1");

    s.setAction ("Format",

    If I understand you, work with your two fields Signature1 DATE_1, you want to program an automatic in the field of DATE_1 date, when a digital signature is placed in the field Signature1  Similarly, you want DATE_1 empty if there is no digital signature.

    Under your code to add the Signature1 field, add the following two lines of code:

    var s = "if (!)". "this.getField(\"Signature1\").value) this.getField(\"DATE_1\").value = \"\";\relse this.getField(\"DATE_1\").value = util.printd (\"mm/dd/yyyy\ ', Date() ") new;";

    oFld.setAction ("MouseUp", s);

    Translated, if there is no content Signature1 (begin to sign but decide to hit cancel them), the area of the DATE_1 remains empty, but if the signature is placed, the DATE_1 field updates to reflect the current date.  (Variable s contains two lines of code)

    DATE_1 your code seems to work fine when it is used with the above lines.  If the signature field is removed, the field DATE_1 will erase the previous date that was displayed.

  • Script to detect the moment when a radio button is clicked / digital signature signed

    Good afternoon

    What is the syntax to detect whether a radio button is pressed or a digital signature field is signed?

    What I want to do is to fill in a field if the user clicks a radiobox and the user signs the form doorwindow.

    My radio boxes follow the pattern

    Group name: Group 1

    Name of choice: A, B, C, D

    Field name digital signater: boss

    Script project

    If (Group1. A == {True and this.getField("boss') .signed)

    this.getField("x").value = thisgetField("y").value

    {

    I know that the syntax is far away, but I'm trying to honor a task like thie described above.

    You don't specify what type of field 'x', but assuming that it is a text field, you can use this code as the code customized for her:

    {If (this.getField("Group_1").value == 'A' & {this.getField("boss").value! = ""})}

    Event.Value = this.getField("y").value

    } else event.value = "";

    Be aware that JS is case-sensitive, so if the name of the Group of option buttons is "Group 1" and not "Group 1", you will need to change this in the script.

  • Digital Signature in Reader and Acrobat behavior

    I created a file PKCS #12 digital ID in Acrobat 7, which included a graphic image of a real signature. When I apply this signature in Acrobat, it shows the image of the signature in addition to the other information I've included in the file. When I apply this signature in the reader but rather than the graphic image it simply places the file name information in block type where the image should be well that it always includes the other information in the file. Anyone know why this would be the case and how I can fix?

    Thanks for your help

    Brian

    Hi Brian,.

    The image is not part of the file P12, but rather an aspect of personal signature that you created in the Preferences dialog box. To create a signature custom in player appearance:

    • Select it Edit > preferences (Windows) or the Adobe Reader > preferences (Mac) menu item.
    • Select Security in the Categories list box
    • Click the new button in the appearance group box
    • Select the imported graphic on the configure Signature appearance dialog box, and then click the file button
    • Click the Browse button in the select an image dialog box
    • Navigate to and select the image you want to use, and then click the Select button in the open dialog box
    • Click the OK button in the select an image dialog box
    • Provide a title (for example my Signature) and select/deselect the checkboxes for the items you want to display or remove
    • Click OK in the configure Signature appearance dialog
    • Click the OK button in the Preferences dialog box

    Who should do it for you
