digitizer want 23 HP

does any1 know where I can buy a digitizer to 23 screen hp envy that mine is cracked so the touchscreen is not responding, I have searched and not found anything I even disassembled but the scanner does not have a reference number

Hi Fritz, Ive had the same problem, cant find on partsurfer and hp will not help, they are a bunch of tossers and that's an understatement. Ive got the part number 678535-001, but you won't be able to find it online or the other. A company called Casetek product in Suzhuo, in China, but still cannot find distributors in the United Kingdom. HP want you take to repair through them which could cost £221, which is the quote, they gave me, but the part itself is expected to cost only about £50-80 but it is hard to find. There wasn't one on ebay, but its been sold. It is in a separate part, so don't let Hp cheat you and say this is just like the one with the lcd screen, ive opened, it comes separately. Here is the one which was on ebay http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=171180769283#

When you scan a document, what you get is a * photo * of the words, not the words themselves. If the quality of this image is good, you can convert editable text using a software called OCR (OCR) character type.

Unless you already have an OCR program (many scanners come with a 'Lite version' of some OCR program) you will need to buy. The best one is generally regarded as spnord Fine Reader, but Omnipage (which I use) is also very good.

If I'm not mistaken you use ICA scanner. This 'Still Prompt pages' option is not available for ICA scans from now. But we are working on that, and will soon be available. I'll put you once its available.

For now please try the TWAIN driver.

  • After scanning, there is no option was to where I want to be extorting digitization.

I have a HP Photosmanrt 2610, using Windows 7.  Recently, I've been successful download HP Solution. So, I was very pleased to now be able to scan.  But to my horror, there is no option to send my scan to Word.  Now, I don't know where my scan went.  Is there a download that gives you an option as to which file you want your analysis file for?

Thanks for your help.  I could find my answer on the community forums. What I had to do was look for the option "text (ocr) RTF file.  This scan-to-word.

  • I have a lot (1000 hours) SD video on rapidly deteriorating the band I want to digitize and archive.  Should I export to AVI, MPEG2, H264 or...?

It's my first post, so if I get this is wrong, I apologize.  My question is as stated above...

    Hi Rob,

For DVCAM tapes, I highly recommend Firewire capture in the form of .avi files DV, which would be 100% lossless - essentially a transfer of data from a tape to hard drive - SAME data to different media. Doesn't get better than that. And keep backup tapes - I have a lot of DV and DVCAM tapes that are 15 years old and over and still read perfectly. Being digital, that signal will not be weird as old VHS tapes... you have a photo or not.

For analog tapes, then use the MXO2 capture with Matrox MPEG-2 I-Frame codec, which is intra-frame with 4:2:2 color and you can increase the data rate slider as needed to meet your needs for quality. Of course, you have the option of uncompressed with Matrox, but probably exaggerated and takes tons more storage space.

What about H.264, it is certainly the most ubiquitous format around in recent years, but it is "lossy" - highly compressed, so I would not really call this archiving for so many info is thrown when encoding. I think that the color will be 4:2:0, for example, most interframe encoding (not full images). If your MXO2 has the option 'MAX' that supports capture directly in H.264 format, for what it's worth.

The problem with the Matrox codec, or similar, is that it requires a PC with Matrox codec installed. But you will encounter in this type of situation regardless, years in advance. You might find yourself transcoding your entire library for a newer, better codec in 5 years, who knows.

The only media with proven longevity are film. I have 8mm films of the 1940s who plays back perfect on the original Kodak Brownie projector that Grandpa passed. Try to reproduce any digital recent or size of band in the 1970s. HA!

Something to consider about the archiving of your video library in digital - even if you have a RAID configuration with redundancy, you'll want all the files that are duplicated on another drive to safety. Readers can and do fail. And readers also die after several years (or less) while just sitting on a shelf, they become just unreadable. You must therefore have a backup AND move the data to newer media after a few years without danger or risk losing everything.

    Thank you

You can do a check of malware with several digitization programs of malicious software on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
All of these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.

  • is the glass front/digitizer for ipod touch 5th generation and iphone 5th generation the same?

I have a digitizer broken on my ipod 5th generation touch, it's the cheapest digitizer with the first delivery I found on amazon:

It is, however, for the iphone 5, not the ipod touch 5th generation.

    these parts are compatible?

If this is not the case, can someone point me to the cheapest place to buy a new glass + digitizer for ipod 5th generation? I'm not afraid to do my own replacements and have done so before.

  • Spare part Portege M930 digitizer pen

    Hello

I'm having a little difficulty finding replacement/pens digitizer replacement for my Portege M930 - I still have the pen that comes with it, but I've been known to lose this kind of thing, so I want to be ready for the inevitable and know where I can get spare parts before I'm stuck without one!

Please note that I'm only after the pen supplied with the M930-l am aware l can use wacom pens or other digitizer pens but I want really the same thing, as I have so it will still fit into the laptop, as soon as the pen must remain separate I lose them all the time and $ 30-40 a pop that will become expensive quickly! I have looked through the manual and cannot find a reference for her number, nor has google found a lot of use.

Do you know where I can get another feather of digitizer M930? =)
Thanks for any help! ~ Ashes C

I guess if you want to use exactly the same pen that has been delivered with the Portege M930, you should contact Toshiba service provider authorized in your country. The service guys should be able to order this part (if available) directly from the main warehouse of Toshiba

  • Want to 4500 and 4520: can fancy 4500 and want 4520 coexist as selection printers?

I had one desire to 4500 for about 18 months and just bought a 4520 desire and want to use interchangeably two printers.  When installing drivers 4520 want to internet, he failed twice. I used the CD provided and managed to instal want 4520 successfully.  I note however for the digitization of the device and the printer control panel, Envy 4500 has been "removed" but not deleted.  It seems that I must reinstal 4500 want next time I want to use it.  Is there a better solution?  They both cannot exist under another printer?

    Hello

Thank you for using the HP Forums.

In theory, the two must be able to exist together.

Just that alone can be the default printer and if you want to print from another printer, you must select specifically in some software/applications that you use.

Suggest that you uninstall and reinstall each one printer at a time again.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/identify?q=envy+4500 & Tool = s-002 #Z7_3054ICK0K8UDA0AQC11TA930O2

First select a printer, select win 10 OS download/install the FULL features software, then repeat with the 2nd printer. Note that the 2nd printer will "Default" (since it is the most recent must be installed)

    Hope that helps.

  • Envy 15 K2T37AV: Replace digitizer for Envy 15-Instructions and void the warranty?

I dropped my computer a few days ago from cracking of the digitizer, but not the LCD screen. The display still works, and I'm debating whether to pay to fix it or just do it myself or ask at a local store to do. My questions are:

    (1) do I have to dissect your laptop to replace the digitizer, or y at - it a simple way to just pull the digitizer off the LCD display and replace it?

    (2) in doing so void my warranty? Especially if I don't really have to unscrew anything, and given that the display is not covered by the warranty anyway, if it voids the warranty on everything else?

    (3) if I go with it, what is the model number of the digitizer and are there instructions I could follow?

    Thank you in advance!

  • In Photos, I changed the date, title and information on the location of the images of a slide digitizing company.  I want to preserve the custom metadata and the original resolution of 2500 dpi in a file backup, but when I export it loses my metadata chan

Using version 1.3 of Photos, I edited the metadata about the images, I received a business of digitization of slides to insert the first day of the slide, the location, a title and a keyword.  I want to archive these images with the original resolution of 2500 dpi, but when I export original unmodified, it does not preserve information.  When I export by choosing export as XMP IPTC, I can't read the XMP file to see if there are my revisions.

When I export using the 'Export # photo (s)' choice, I can use the previews/tools/Inspector/iptc and see my changes.  But this photo has only 72 dpi.

Is there a way to preserve this modification of metadata information in the original not modified?  Alternatively, this file has XMP I exported the info?  If so, how can I read it?  And that would mean I need to export both the original unmodified and the XMP file to my files from archive?

Don't know what you want - well there is a CIO field in the EXIF fields it is meaningless as DPI is not a setting but the result of a math problem third grade - points by (divided by) inches until you add inches per impression you have no IPR - and when you add inches the DPI for printing are determined by calculating not by any setting

    For more information, see http://www.rideau-info.com/photos/mythdpi.html

A 1200 x 1800 pixels picture printed as a 4'x 6' printing is 300 DPI bit matter what setting the EXIF says

  • Best way to digitize vinyl.

    Hello

I want to digitize my vinyl collection consisting of mainly electronic music.

    My configuration is:

    -2 technics 1210 MK2

    -Ortofon Concorde DJ E cartridges (band bandwidth at - 3dB - 20 - 22,000 Hz, frequency - 20 - 20,000 Hz +/-2 dB response)

    -Table Pioneer DJM-500 mixer

-Mac Pro 2010 (2x12core, 32 GB of RAM,...)

    -VinylStudio V8.8

I started with a few test records by connecting my Blender to the line in my Mac Pro and WAV 24-bit and 96 kHz recording. I'm in doubt about two areas: how to connect my turntable to my Mac Pro and cartridges. Of course, this is the place to ask the later.

Can I keep my setting or should I get an external audio interface instead of using the line? I read on other forums that some people must buy amps, turntables, usb, etc, but since I was already a very good mixer and Platinum table I was wondering if I need a Phonopreamp-to-analog converter / digital (ADC)?

I hope someone can give me a hand!

You didn't tell us how was the experience?

If it was acceptable, be happy.

If the sound levels were average low, you'll need a preamp to boost signal of phonograph.

If the audio is loud, you will need a third-party analog-to-digital converter.

I transfer my vinyl records in this way-

Turntable > preset (aka the phono preamplifier) phono amplifier > output line > mixer Mackie Onyx 1220i firewire (which used analog-to-digital converter) > firewire 400 > MacPro.

This works for a much cleaner sound for two reasons - firstly, the turntable signal is stimulated through a dedicated preamplification circuit and the second, the A/D conversion is handled by the Mackie, who does a vastly superior job compared to the A/D converter aboard noisy Apple.

    Good luck.
