  My question seems to be very easy, even though I spent some time with Google, and after reading all the related messages, I am even more confused then before. So, I would ask someone to explicit confirmation or a reversal.

  I've got T500 2242-CTO model, with integrated Mobile Intel (r) 4 Series Express Chipset Family adapter chart only. Now, I would like to buy monitor Dell U2410 and use it's native resolution of 1920 x 1200 for daily use and for treatment of photos by Lightroom. I don't have a station at this time I will not invest in it and I have no opportunity to check it out with a monitor at the moment.

  So my question is: "can I use resolution 1920 x 1200 and an external monitor with my T500 2242, and I can use DisplayPort for her?

  Theoretically the adapter (which Windows report as "Mobile Intel (r) GMA 4500MHD") is able to display high resolution, both using VGA and DisplayPort adapters still more. The question is if it will work with T500? I read a lot of posts saying that the digital output is possible only with additional ATI card. Other people wrote that thay can use these resolutions, but they advanced Mini Dock. There are also many posts discuss whether it is possible to connect two monitors, but with double graphics cards or Mini Dock.

  The wuxga is supported by two VGA or displayport. The displayport can support a maximum of WQXA when you use native active displayport or dp to dvi converter dual link.

• Activate Bluetooth on Lenovo T400 or T500?

  I have a laptop of Lenovo T500 (2242) on which I clean installed Windows 8 Pro. It has bluetooth inside hardware, and worked well in Vista and Windows 7, although I needed software "Logins" Lenovo to turn on the bluetooth radio. And by that I mean actually turn it on so that the operating system could see it and use it. If she had died through dial-up connections (more precisely, the FNF5 utility included), then the operating system nor the rest of the su same logins that the card was present. There is no specific hardware for this switch. There is a switch to turn on/off, I keep in the position "on" at any time WiFi.

  Now in Windows 8, I can't turn on the Bluetooth card. It is enabled in the BIOS.   3. Integration of features Hotkey for Windows 8 (32-bit, 64-bit), 7 (32 bit, 64 bit), Vista (32 bit, 64 bit), XP (32-bit, 64-bit) and 2000 - ThinkPad (installs, but keys such as Fn + F5 don't produce any action at all).
  4. Broadcom bluetooth drivers Installer Package. The Setup program tries to find a bluetooth device installed. It fails. Apparently because the card is not activated!

  None helped at all. There is no evidence that the Bluetooth card is installed.
  In other forums, I saw advice to activate the Bluetooth card in the Win8-style control panel 'PC to change the settings. It is not there; See this image for confirmation.
  Can someone help me get this stupid operational bluetooth? I have included "T400" in the title because the T400 and T500 were essentially the same computer - just has a larger size of the screen and the frame to the other.

  Lenovo released Hotkey features integration on April 30, 2013. I installed, but it did not help in my case.
  I manually browsed to the extraction folder (in my case C:\DRIVERS\HOTKEY\OSD\F5-8M) and found the file "TpFnF5.exe". It does exactly what I need - manages all radios. I guess that Windows 8 has taken control of Fn + F5, which initially should launch this application.
  It will be useful.
  PS: C:\DRIVERS\HOTKEY\OSD\F5 is a similar application, but without 'Airplane Mode' switch.

• T500 GMA DVI Boot - Advanced Mini Dock: works with a monitor, but not another

  I have a type of T500 2242 with GMA X4500MHD graphics in Advanced Mini Dock. BIOS 1.20, startup display set to the DVI connector. Cable DVI - D single-link of the dock-> DVI - D input on external TFT monitor. I get different results according to the attached monitor:

  (1) PX191 19 "1280 x 1024 native plane: splash screen appears on the external monitor.

  (2) "Topaz" Soyo DYLM24D6 24 "native 1920 x 1200 S: external monitor stays off, the splash screen appears on the screen of T500.

  I also have a T42 with Mini DVI - D Dock, -- this one shows the start screen on the 24 "monitor without problem, using the same cable dvi - d single-link I tried with the T500.

  Maybe there is something wrong with the Soyo is EDID? Or a bad interaction with the T500 BIOS?

  Good news! I sent my T500 in-service, and Lenovo replaced the motherboard. Now, the startup screen is correctly displayed via the dock to my monitor's DVI port external 24 ". After what Linux / X sees the external monitor and it puts in place and it displays correctly. So: problem solved! Thanks, Lenovo

  Before the swap of the Board of Directors system, I was able to use a cable DVI DisplayPort / talk to the 24 "monitor. This requires an extra cable to plug/unplug, so it's nice to finally have the DVI dock work.

  It seems that this problem only arises with some ThinkPad + external monitor combinations. My original system card worked fine with a 19 "monitor. And another Member pointed out that a single version of a 19 "works fine with its T500 Belinea monitor, even if a previous version does not. (See this thread for more details.)

  Hi people, recently I used the Spry tabbed panels 2.0 widge on this page: www.arrowmark.co.nz/clients and on this pagehttp://tatlerprime.co.nz/conference.html but the tabs no longer appear and everything is arranged vertically to the bottom of the page. With the help of the Gramps altruistic, I adapted my pages to activate quick links to tabs and named anchors and other useful settings to help visitors navigate through the tabs and their content.

  Several things happened since then that I built these pages: my Windows 7 profile became corrupted and I had to start a new profile which means I lost access to the data of the app. I also upgraded to DW cs6. And I also lost access to my widgets Panel.

  One of these issues could have caused the problem, but maybe also this widget no longer works in Cs6.

  However, there is another possibility: that I inadvertently brought a change in the code that prevents the tabs appear. Is anyone able to take a look and let me know which is the more likely before starting a rebuild from scratch?

  [Update: I've narrowed the problem.] The panels are apart when I change the value of 0 defaultTab to 'params.tab? params. Tab: 0 ", (which I use as part of a script that allows me to send email links and links of the menu bar value specific tabs and their content.) If anyone knows another way to achieve this without affecting the behavior of the tab, I would be really grateful.   I have win7 and I tried to change the size of the text/icon from windows to 125%. It has also affected everything in firefox (text tabs, bar etc, not the text on the pages you want to change by pressing ctrl + / address). I changed it to 100% and everything became really tiny. How can I make standard size any zoom that I use in windows itself.

  You can try this:

  1. Open the properties of the desktop Firefox shortcut (right click: properties)
  2. Go to the Compatibility tab
  3. Make a mark before "Disable display timing of high DPI settings" to see if this has the effect.
