  Yes, for what you want to do create the form in Acrobat is the best way to go. Here are a few tips.

  1. to flatten the page that contains the form field, use the flattenPages method. It is documented here: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.466.html

  So to flatten the last page of a document, you should do something like:

  Convert fields on the last page to the other content

  flattenPages ({start: numPages - 1});

  2. to save the changes in a new document, you can do this:

  Trigger the menu item save as

  app.execMenuItem ("SaveAs");

  In the console design, you won't see any form in the form designer until you install all of the connectors to the IOM.

  You should the name of the column as a variable adapter... Open your form of process... Copy the exact spelling of the name of the column at the top of case...

  You can run a form directly from a browser, assuming that the HTTP listener is running. In the case of Developer Suite, this would be OC4J. So, follow these steps:

  1 locate and open this file: ORACLE_HOME\install\portlist.ini

  2. take note of the value for ' * Oracle Developer Suite HTTP port. " It will probably be something like 8888 and 8889 or 8890 or something similar.

  3. start OC4J using the shortcut created during installation. It will be labeled something like "Start an OC4J Instance". This will open a DOS window. Do not close IT. Leave this session BACK will end the listener.

  4 once OC4J has initialized (you will see "... initialized" in the DOS window) open a browser and enter the following (replace you with host name and port requested in step 2 and form):

  http://YourHostname:port/forms/frmservlet?form=C:\myForms\helloworld.FMX

  If you are not able to get OC4J to initialize and remain running, attempts to run a form will fail. Also, if your machine is not registered DNS you can have problems using the host name in the URL. Instead use 'localhost' or '127.0.0.1 '. For example:

  http://127.0.0.1:8889/forms/frmservlet?form=test.FMX

  I was a relatively heavy form about 13 pages with loads of scripts, etc colored fonts. The size of the form is close to 1 MB at the moment without any scripts and even design 4 pages remaining. It is whenever I try to add more fields on the form, Designer gives me error when starting with the corrupted application form. I was saving the form as a pdf from adobe dynamic form. Anythin' is possible to his subject?

I have some users having difficulty opening these forms using ipad, although they got the latest version of adobe installed. I don't have an ipad and don't know. Can someone advise if there is a limitation in adobe readers in the iPad? what these users can do to solve it? What are the common problems with the opening of these advances froms of ipads?

  I created a form in DW, its ASP Mail form called form.asp. When the user clicks the "Submit" button, it evokes another page, called "formtobemailed.asp" that says time the form was delivered successfully or not.
