Disable the CPU C4 State to correct high pitch sound

The Core 2 Duo processors are initially high pitch noise.
To solve this problem we neede to disable the C4 function in the BIOS, BUT we do not have this OPTION!
We need a new BIOS once AGAIN, for this problem!

I think that you must speak with the nearest service.
My Satellite A500 will run without this high noise pitch and after 1.30 BIOS updated fairly quiet.

  • Disabling the cpu fan on HP p6210f

    I recently installed a Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus, which uses a power connector 4-pin CPU fan. The HP p6210f has a Pegatron M2N78 - THE motherboard, which has a 3 - pin CPU fan power connector. The fan turns on fine, but then stops and I get a message before Windows 7 Professional can load the CPU fan has failed and the computer turns off.

    Everything I've read suggests that the new fan does not spin fast enough for the taste of the motherboard and that, given that the fan works properly, I can safely disable the CPU fan error in the system BIOS. Yet, I don't see an option for this disable in the BIOS. How can I turn off the error on a HP p6210f CPU fan?

    RoJCor wrote... "I would still be able to access my full BIOS."

    What you have is the complete HP BIOS. HP and many other features of locking of the OEM in the BIOS to prevent users from accidentally and unintentionally change the settings which becomes a service call. The only way to restore the features which have been locked, is to ask a hack or modification of one of the sites that do this kind of thing. Don't forget that the desired function may not be in the BIOS first, the BIOS can be difficult to hack or modify, or that you end up with a virus or other.

  • Why my Ff making a loud high pitched sound when loading a new page?

    This does not happen on every page, but VERY often, when a new page will load (ie: gmail, Facbook login...) as soon as this is done loading I hear a strong high pitched sound. All too often.
    It seems almost connected with the other problem Im having. When I arrive at a login screen, the connection box is filled with the sound, but the other annoying is to get rid of the info pre-populated (says enter username or phone...) I have to double-click and delete it. I know it is small, but with two issues all the time it really drives a guy nut and slows down the work.

    Any luck you have the NoScript extension installed?

    It has a sound of audio feedback when scripts are blocked while the page loads. This noise can be disabled in the NoScript options on the Notifications tab.

  • API to disable the process BPEL (State = stop) in Oracle soa suite 10 g

    Hello world

    I am looking for a solution disable a BPEL process without using the BPEL console in Oracle SOA suite 10 g. I was thinking about an API, but I can't find in the list below those that would be useful:

    http://download-UK.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28986/index.html?com/Oracle/BPEL/client/package-summary.html

    Any ideas?

    It also crossed my mind to use Ant by disabling a BPEL process. Anyone know if there are any available custom Ant task for updating the State of a BPEL process?

    I look forward to hearing from you all!

    Thank you!!

    SR

    Hi SR,

    You can do this by having a BPEL process with a java embedding containing code below.

    /*
     * Input Variables
    */
    String processName   = (String)getVariableData("processName");
    String revision      = (String)getVariableData("revision");

    /*
     * Declare variables.
    */
    IBPELProcessHandle procHandle = null;
    Locator loc = null;
    BPELProcessMetaData bpelProcessMetadata = null;

    try{
        /*
         * get Locator Instance
        */
        loc = getLocator();
        /*
         * Lookup Process. Revision optional.
        */
        if(revision == null || revision.trim().equals(""))
        {
          procHandle = loc.lookupProcess( processName );
        }
        else
        {
          procHandle = loc.lookupProcess(processName, revision);
        }
        if(procHandle == null)
        {
          throw new Exception("Unable to find process: " + processName);
        }
        /*
         * Get Metadata of the process.
        */
        bpelProcessMetadata = procHandle.getMetaData();

        /*
         * Set Lifecycle to Retired.
         * Use setState(IBPELProcessConstants.STATE_OFF) to change process state to off.
         */
        bpelProcessMetadata.setLifecycle(IBPELProcessConstants.LIFECYCLE_RETIRED);
        /*
         * Finally update the process with the modified metadata.
         */
        procHandle.updateMetaData(bpelProcessMetadata);
    }catch (Exception e)
    {
      addAuditTrailEntry(e);
    }

    If you wish, you can schedule this process.

  • Is it possible to disable the State of C4e processor in windows?

    I use a Core i5 - 450 M CPU. There is a high pitched noise when the CPU is idle.

    I searched and found that some portable computers thinkpad, they eliminated the noise by turning off 'Power state C4' in the BIOS.

    But the bios of my laptop would not turn it off.

    So, it is possible to disable the C4 mode in windows (or some software)?

    Have you read the link posted? or the answer posted? -its a problem intel/thinkpad, nothing to do with MS or Win

  • Apple Mail only works when I restart in "safe" mode otherwise it becomes crazy, using all the capabilities of the CPU.  Seems to be linked to the case.  Any help?

    Apple Mail only works when I restart in "safe" mode otherwise it becomes crazy, using all the CPU capacity without any correct output.  Seems to be connected with caches.  Any help?

    Generally, if your Mac works correctly in Mode safe, but not normally, then you have a third-party software that runs at the start of the origin of the problem.

    Safe mode disables most of the extensions of third-party startup and some Apple hardware, so it could be another problem for Apple, but I have never heard of your problem.

  • ASUS IPIBL - THE CPU fan error_BIOS v.5.13

    My problem is very strange. When this error started, there really was a problem so I changed the original Cpu fan. Now I have a Cooler Master V8 and the temperature are between 30-35 °, so works very well. When I switch off the PC I always the same thing with the UPS, in order to spare batteries. When I turn on, the error appears again, but only for the first 3 or 4 attempts, and then starts normally.

    I've seen in many forums the problem to go into the BIOS and disable the CPU SPEED of the FAN. Unfortunately this option doesn' exist in this motherboard, so I thought I'd by software, the operating system.

    Is it possible or there is another way?

    Solved! The error appears because the ROTATION speed of the fan is not, so after a lubrication (WD40 or CRC on the brushless) no problem.

  • Re: NB305-10F - high-pitched noise of the slot of the headset

    Hey all,.

    I recently bought a Toshiba NB305-10F and at first everything seemed fine, but I found now that when I put headphones or external speakers in the headphone slot it emits a high-pitched noise. It is intermittent but is it about 95% of the time. Unfortunately this makes it nearly impossible to listen to any music or audio books through my speakers or headphones! It doesn't seem to be any sound when I use the built-in speakers.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. I had to send my first model for other reasons and not want to do the same thing again!

    Kind regards

    Rob

    Hello

    You use the version preinstalled Windows from Toshiba?

    I think that what you can do is update the audio driver and if it doesn't work you should get in touch with an authorized service provider. It seems that something is wrong with the slot of the headset, and it needs to be repaired

    A friend also told NB300 but he never noticed such a problem.

  • microphone and stereo make a high pitched noise high

    HP support assistant unable to height the microphone and stereo is a high-pitched noise, I have a hp compaq laptop

    I had this problem and I don't really know what are the causes of the problem (with me anyway), I found this turn of the amp mic off cures the problem, just do a right click on your "speaker" icon, choose recording devices, double-click the microphone tab select levels and turn off the boost, I apologize if this has already been done!

  • U2713H emits high-pitched noise with USB cable upstream?

    I just got a rev A06 U2713H. When I first turned on I noticed that he made a series of jerky low noises. I guess it's normal because the monitor image seems fine. The real problem I'm having is that after about 30 minutes or more, it begins to emit very annoying high pitched sound I can hear clearly when you're sitting at a normal distance. Change the brightness/contrast has no effect on this noise. Any ideas? It should with this Panel?

    Close the loop on this one. It was the associated cable. A fully seated new USB 3 cable upstream completely sorted noise.

  • HP G62 charger making a high-pitched noise

    When my laptop charger gets very hot, it starts to make a high-pitched sound... Then, once it is cold, it is well, until it's warm again...

    I can't feel any burning sensation when I sniff the charger or any odor which might relate to something fusion inside...

    What it could be, or is it okay? It's disturbing...

    Thank you!

    Is your laptop still under warranty? Whenever a problem happens which can become a fire hazard it is a major issue. I submit to your thread to the appropriate review team. Someone must be in contact with you shortly.

  • x 300, whining CPU + Linux + how to disable the C4 State

    Hello

    I also have this occurrence of whining annoying CPU when my CPU goes to C4.

    As I have Linux running on my x 300 (Ubuntu 8.10) disable power management in the bios is not an option because then I can't adjust the brightness of the screen with the function keys more.

    Is it possible to disable the C4 with a shell script?

    EDIT / I had to reinstall gnome-power-manager after turning off power-mgmt in the bios, setting now works brightness again.

    However, my question remains.

    Thanks in advance

  • 5102na HP OMEN: how to disable the audio correction Bang & Olufsen horrible?

    Is there someone who could tell me please how to disable the audio correction Bang & Olufsen? I'm sure that some people like it but I work with audio and I can't really how it changes the sound. I tried to open the Bang & Olufsen sign but I cannot unselect the correction in the section "listening experience", nor that I can change the associated equalization. Please someone help, thanks!

    I found a solution: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-PC-Sound-and-Audio/Beats-Audio-compression-and-volume-fluctuation-HP-ENVY-m6/m-p/5137867/highlight/true#M67144

    1. Go to the Windows Device Manager > sound, video and game controllers section.
    2. In the list of the audio device drivers, look for Realtek High Definition Audio. This is the device driver for BeatsAudio (a bit sneaky, wouldn't you say?).
    3. Right-click and select disable. Down arrow on this driver, indicating it is disabled. (NOTE: at this point, you will not be able to play music files.)
    4. Right click and select Update driver software.
    5. Select Browse my computer for driver software.
    6. Select Let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
    7. You should see a window that says Select the driver to install for this hardware device. NOTE: If you see a window that says something like This is the best driver for this device, close the window and repeat steps 4, 5 and 6.
    8. In the scheme box, select Audio device high definition (this is the device driver audio substitute) and click Next.
    9. In the Update driver warning window, click Yes. You should see a confirmation with the high definition Audio Device display window. Click on Close.
    10. In the list of drivers of audio device in the section audio, video and game controllers, you will notice that the high definition Audio device now displays instead ofHigh Definition Audio Realtek.
    11. When prompted to restart, click Yes.
    12. Now enjoy your music with no compression!

    Thanks to SteveCT99

    This does not disable audio-Bang & Olufsen, but I just installed this EQ across the system instead: http://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/

    HP needs to release a driver which allow us access to the "Improvements" tab so we can turn off "Loudness equalization" (although "Loudness equalization" should not be on by default in the first place).

    The current driver is default.
