• LOVs disabling when no mode query

  Hello. I currently have a form in which a master block fills a block of retail. When the master is automatically populated the cursor goes to the detail block and assigns to switch to query mode (due to the face that there are several details, but the user can display only one at a time). To select the appropriate details, the user can choose a LOV retail which is activated by clicking a button. Once detail has been selected and the query is executed, it is no real need for the LOV as long as the user can now change/remove the detail. Also when adding a new detail it would be useless for the LOV like the presence of it wouldn't that confuse users. So basically the only time where the LOV is useful during mode query to query the user detail wish change/remove.
  
  Your experience how you achieve that result?

  Well, you can write a trigger key-listval on your LOV element to check the mode of the block

   if :system.mode = 'ENTER-QUERY' then
      list_values;
  end if;
  

  LOV will only display mode query only

  1. put your code on this trigger after changing point that fills the default value in the product category.

  2. remove the trigger after change of product group.

  3 put the same code to trigger once - new - Record - Instance of the main block.

  I have a very basic problem. But unable to detect where I am wrong.
  In double-click for a particular item, I need to show LOV and this happens only when form mode "enter_query".

  You cannot navigate to another block when you ENTER QUERY mode...
  are you sure the correct when doubleclicking mode?
  Insert a message like

  message('SYSTEM.MODE=' || :SYSTEM.MODE);PAUSE;
  

  to check for this.

  Welcome to the Microsoft community. I appreciate that you try to disable the security mode in YouTube. Please be informed that by design, if you have enabled filtering in Family Safety, web Youtube safety mode cannot be disabled, causing it to filter adult content. The only way to disable it is to disable filtering in web parental control.

  }

  and then used these lines of code:
  enableSubMenuItem (0, 0, true);
  or
  enableSubMenuItem (0, 0, false);

  in this way, you can enable or disable items throughout the structure of the menu bar you...

  I took the XMLListCollection my menu bar used and converted to XML and then used E4x to access the enable attribute... Talk about a headache :)

  Why don't you use:
  $f_DisableOnValue (pThis, pValue, pThat)
  Checks the value (pValue) of an element (pThis). If it matches, this feature disables the element or the array of items (pThat). If it does not, then the element is activated.

  so in your case: $f_DisableOnValue ('P19_FILE_STATUS', 'A', 'P19_RETURN_TO_CUSTOMER');

  I turned on the debug mode via Admin-> Server Configuration-> debug level. Switch to debug mode.
  I restarted the server. I wanted to test whether the query will appear if there was an error in the query.

  Enabling the debug level, will show the details of the errors on the screen.

  But if you need the sql query, then you have to go the newspaper directly.
