Disabling the options on the view menu

Everything has this problem?... Can Extras be disabled permanently more?

Whenever I open a photoshop file, the "Extras" are ALWAYS selected. In older versions of PS, this KEPT once you have selected it.

I create hundreds of web banners every few months, and every time I open a document I have to remember to deselect the OPTIONS in the menu. Not only that, I have to keep it clear while alternating between the layers for a reason any. I don't like because when 'Extras' is checked, by selecting another layer with an object in the immediate vicinity of the layer active becomes almost impossible, moreover, the handles of the frame object always show and give the impression that you have selected the transformation tool that I always waiting. And I don't need a dazzling show of x and is coordinated to divert attention from the task at hand... PS adds overkill when all you want to do is to SELECT and MOVE an object a few pixels.

It seems with more versions of the CC PS, they create a monolith of options to complicate simple tasks... photo with shift PRNDL of your vehicle with a half dozen of subsets with 3 you have not selected by default whenever you drive your car or your headlight Switch with eight functions with four of them ALWAYS default when one is enough.

I don't need 1 million options to speed up my work... its actually me slow down considerably by the selection/deselection of constantly having to turn off "Extras."

Just below 'Extras' on the view menu, there are «...» Show", where you can check/uncheck the individual elements - permanently.

CTRL + H (extras) is just a bucket collect them all and then turns off with a single shortcut.

  • How to disable the top menu in PDF.js Firefox PDF Viewsers

    I have the site to read documents online for users.

    I want to disable the top menu with ease to print, navigate through the pages, zoom, miniature etc..

    I want people to read the document online without allowing them to download or print document.

    Any idea?

    Articles for Adobe Reader won't help for the built-in PDF Viewer.

    I guess you want to keep viewers save a copy of the file locally.

    You can't stop unless people can see this file in their browser.

    If Firefox displays the file then the file is already downloaded in the browser.

    They can always do a screenshot copy even with the hidden menu bar and use save the page, as if the URL in the address bar is the PDF file or, if there is a link to that file on a page, use Save Link as.

    If they disable the built-in PDF Viewer and that you use another Viewer rather then you don't have control over what they do with this file.

    You will need to use a plugin like Flash to view this content, possibly recover the file via a secure connection.

    Don't see the menu bar not (File, Edit, View, history, Favorites, tools, help)?
    Turn on/off the menu bar is a new feature in version 3.6.
    (Linux and OSX see: what happened to the file, edit and view menus? )
    Windows Method 1. Press and hold the key and press the letters of the following in this exact order: V T M
    Windows method 2 Press and release the button. The Menu bar is displayed; then choose ~ ~ red: V ~ ~ iew > ~ ~ red: T ~ ~ oolbars and click on ~ ~ Red: M ~ ~ enu Bar.
    The menu bar should now be displayed permanently, unless you turn it off again using view > toolbars. Check = not displayed, NO check mark is not displayed.

  • Reader XI - bug in the "View" menu

    A bug in the view menu - don't say it's a feature!

    I tried to use keyboard shortcuts to navigate the menu of reader XI View - carefully Show / Hide-> Tbar Items (until I find that you can accomplish this with a right-click on the toolbar).

    To find View menu there are two submenus with the same "assigned keyboard shortcut: Fill & Sand Sign how / Hide." Obviously pressing on the of ' key the first time opens the pane fill & Sign, then View menu closes, so cannot use the of ' key open Show / Hide for more options.

    Why could not the devs of design chose a separate letter for all submenus in View? Where was their spirit? Is Adobe, outsourcing of design, too (for me it "feels" Asian).

    PS: couldn't find a 'suggest a feature' for Acrobat/Reader on the Adobe site, I get redirected to this forum instead.

    I use Firefox for an application kiosk on a touch screen monitor. I will prevent users from interacting with the browser interface. Is there a way to do this? Disable the context menu and zoom for the touch gestures could prevent users from getting into a State where they are unable to use the application.

    Hi TrevorTubbs, you can disable the zoom in the browser with the method described in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locking_preferences & locking these preferences:

    lockPref("toolkit.zoomManager.zoomValues"; "1");
    lockPref("zoom.maxPercent"; 100);
    lockPref("zoom.minPercent"; 100);

    I'm not sure if disabling the context menu...

    Even if you delete the audio level of the script, there always a copy of the entire file in Active Expert space project.

    An idea might be to do drag another copy of the active project to the timeline, do file right click on the calendar file, select video to delete in the context menu, and end up with just your audio file.

    Furthermore, you don't have to disassociate the lined video and audio to get rid of video or audio. Bound just click with the right button on the file and select delete video or Audio to remove.

    Please let us know if you're OK with the above details. If this isn't the case, I'll think about it even more.

    Thanks for the follow-up. Appreciated.

  • Why is there no option to all my music in the VIEW menu?

    I have an iTunes subscription game, so that I can access all my music from all my devices. Until very recently, it worked well, but now that one of my devices (a white MacBook) seems to have lost access. On my MacBook Air, under the iTunes VIEW menu, there are two options: all my music, or just the downloaded music and I can choose which of them to access. But on the white MacBook, these options do not appear. Instead there is an option for iCloud see music purchases, allowing me to access music on the computer, or just buying iCloud. But I can not access my music in the cloud at all.

    This is a recent development: before, my cloud music appeared. I am connected with the same account on both machines. As far as I know, the white MacBook is allowed.

    Should I try out allowing and then re-authorizing the white MacBook?

    Re-authorizing can help out you. And your white MacBook is compatible with the latest version of iTunes?

  • What happened to the option "reload"? (ITI used under the 'View' menu).

    When we look at some Web sites, you have a version of a page cached and force a reload to ensure what you are looking at the latest version. "recharge" used to be an option under the "View" tab, but it went from there in the last update. Where is he now?

    Firefox 4 by default the stop-button Go and recharge are combined and attached on the right edge of the address bar.

    When you type in the address bar, it will show the Go button. When loading a site is it shows the Stop button. Sometimes it shows the button reload.

    If you want separate buttons, right-click on a toolbar and select Customize, you can then drag the stop or reload buttons and place them elsewhere. If you place them in the order 'Reload-Stop' on the right side of the address bar they will be together again. For more information about customizing the toolbar, see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+customize+the+toolbar

    You can also press F5 to reload a page.
