Disabling Windows 7 Ultimate

My Windows 7 Ultimate edition comes to start sending a message that I have 23 days to activate the product. Interesting, since I bought version 2 1/2 years and it turned on then. Is not clear why he began at this time, but it seems to be in conjunction with my computer no more send all information on my printer, if wired or wireless and Device Manager is more to come. Any planned obsolescence built into this program?

Registration is relevant - and unrelated everything except sales and marketing.

Activation however is required - and must take place within a specified time from the date of "no activation" If the system must not be marked as non-genuine. Times vary with the type of licence involved.

  • I activated Windows 7 Ultimate in January 2014. After disabling certain settings and features, activation appears in computer/properties, other days it's not. Why?

    I ask that my previous question differently:

    I activated Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit in January 2014. After recently turning off a few settings and features, some days activation appears in computer/properties, other days it's not. Why? What I turned off who would do that? It modifies a registry key?

    It's actually very simple. If you have an active Internet connection, it will say active. If you do not it will say unknown state activation.

  • 26 of Firefox crashes out of Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit.

    No matter if I click on the red X, go to file-> exit or press Alt + F4 to exit Firefox under Windows Vista Ultimate 32 - bit. It almost always produces an error message that Firefox has stopped working.

    I can't find how to post a JPEG Screenshot of the error here.

    This will not occur under Windows XP Pro.

    Otherwise, the browser works fine in a BONE.

    Those are the two reports of the crash on Adobe Flash Player.

    You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • Firefox does not open after the update to 14.0.1 on Windows 7 Ultimate

    Firefox did its automatic update to 14.0.1 and would be more open. I tried to uninstall and reinstall. I tried to add a new profile (which ends not - it crashes when I cliquerai on end). Nothing seems to work. I use Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-bit. It had worked perfectly until this last automatic update,

    I went back to 13.0.1 and disabled the automatic update. Before installing the 13, I blew some left behind registry entries. 13 installed and works very well. Maybe Mozilla can make some better tests in the future for new versions don't cause pain so much. A headache more like that and I'll just go back to IE.

  • Almost 100% of the time, when I move the window of Firefox to the left or right, the content remains fixed on my screen - using Windows 7 Ultimate - how to solve so that

    How can I make the content moves WITH the frame as it is to the left or the right. O.K. works in upwards or downwards direction. If the chassis has been moved to the right, leaving the fixed content, the "buttons" don't work until the frame is moved manually to the left side of the screen. I use Windows 7 Ultimate (x 64-bit) with a LCD 1920 x 1200 in Firefox version 13.0.1 and PORTRAIT orientation. I don't have this problem with Internet Explorer or Chrome.

    Hmmm, could you try disabling graphics hardware acceleration? As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

    You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced

    In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

    If you restart Firefox, the problem is solved?

  • Clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit on Qosmio X 870

    When I got my laptop (Qosmio x 870) I immediately uninstalled BONES because it was full of bloatware and installed a clean version of windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. After my installation I tried installing the drivers on my laptop, but some do not seem to work.

    My VGA driver installed, but the windows experience index for my graphics is 5.5 which is much lower than it should be (if memory serves right it was 7.4 before I uninstalled the original O.S inflated). However, the biggest problem I encountered is the network driver. I installed all network drivers unique on the page of the Toshiba driver for the qosmio x 870, but none seems not to work. For some reason, the laptop thinks my wifi is disabled, I know that it is not (unless there is a setting in the bios that needs to be changed if not I don't know).

    I really need some help here guys, if someone can me EXACT by the drivers I need this point would mean the world to me. Toshiba really should have a package of essential drivers, as most other computer companies have, it makes everything much easier for people who hate the bloated OS that comes with their laptop.

    > When I got my laptop (Qosmio x 870) I uninstalled immediately his BONES because it was full of > bloatware and installed a clean version of windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.
    In my opinion this is the biggest mistake that anyone can do after the purchase of brand new computer. But you're not alone.
    As a first step before doing this you create recovery discs, and I really hope that you ve done that.
    Second, I can understand you if you say that the recovery image contains many pre-installed tips that you don t like, but you should not install version of the OS. No one force you to use all this stuff. You can remove all the system software and configure OS preinstalled on the way you like it.

    And third, why you didn t post here and picked up some opinions until you started to install own OS? You might get some useful tips first.
    You can install the version of the own BONE but installation of additional things must / should be made after the right installation order. Computers laptops Qosmio have more complicated platform/hardware features and drivers, tools and utilities must be installed on the right track if you want to have all the features.

    Best thing you can do now is to reinstall the OS and continue to install all the extra stuff following the installation order posted by Lasko.

  • Laptop HP 15-R084NG: decommissioning of 8.1 Windows x 64 to Windows 7 Ultimate x 64

    Hello and thanks in advance for the help given to this question.

    I searched the Forum before posting, but I noticed that this question is very specific to each PC model because the necessary specific drivers for the downgrade to work. I then decided to help with my particular model.

    I also understand that HP does not really support the downgrade to Windows 7 on a PC with Windows 8.1 as a default value.

    Summary: I have a laptop HP 15-R084NG, while I appreciate it came with Windows 8.1, I really want to downgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate x 64.

    Please find here the link to the Specifications of the product and my product number is J1T15EA

    Question No. 1:

    I have no doubts about the installation of Windows 7, such as setting the UEFI BIOS, a flashdrive bootable UEFI, etc..

    My doubts are pilots (list) will I need to download (and where to download) before installation so that I would have no problem in Windows 7, more specifically on my machine.

    Question 2:

    I'll make an HP Recovery partition backup on a flashdrive anyway (using the option Windows 8.1), but if during the installation of Windows 7 HP Recovery partition is deleted, the backup of the USB key will be enough to return to Windows 8.1 and which will include the HP Recovery partition?

    It will never be a way to re - install the HP Recovery partition?

    Question No. 3:

    I have a backup, Acronis Disk HARD whole with the Windows 8.1 (C) and the external 1 TB HP (D) on a hard drive recovery. I have already tried to start this Acronis backup and could not. Shed light on what I might do to start this external hard drive please?

    Well well, thanks a lot for any help and also thanks to HP for the Forum.

    Salvation;

    You must change some settings in the BIOS to boot from a DVD.  You must leave the settings as they are after you change them to launch W7 because it is not compatible with secure boot.

    See the information below for the settings to be changed.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03736054

    In order to boot from a USB port, you must make sure that your device is plugged into a USB2 port.  The PC does not start from a port USB3.

    If you still cannot start your Acronis backup via a USB2 port, so unfortunately, I don't know the reason why you can not.

    There is a full set of W7 x 64 drivers and software for your model on the link below.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-notebook-PC-series/6875200/model/7313173

    HP has designed Web pages to the page of the driver for the operating system, it automatically detects the load.

    You can click the drop-down menu where it shows Windows 8.1, select Windows 7, click on the blue button updated, and you will be directed to the W7 64 bit driver page.

    Your flash recovery should restore the PC is software orginal State.

    You can test that you can boot from the flash drive recovery you do - using the USB2 port to ensure sound starts and loads.

    You should be able to choose to install W7 on the existing C:\ partition and leaving intact the recovery partition.

    However, the recovery partition can no longer works after installing W7.

    If you are unable to install W7 by following the directions above, unfortunately, I won't be able to help you further the problem.

    I usually help people find drivers that they cannot find once they have installed W7, since I have not personally installed W7 on a machine that came with the W8 or 8.1.

    Usually if you just enable / disable the legacy mode start safe in the BIOS, boot from a USB2 port, you should be fine.

    Some people get a "cannot install to a GPT disk ' error and this is one of those circumstances I wouldn't be able to help you."

  • Windows Update error Code: 80072F78. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

    No matter what I try, I always get error code 80072F78.  I am connected via gigabit LAN and I have no problem, surf the web.  I have my temporary disabled anti-virus and Windows Firewall program off the coast (although I tried with it too).  I have a legal, legitimate copy of Windows 7 Ultimate.  I tried for three days to get all updates from Windows Update, but I am unable to get updates from 15 or so.  With much trial and error I finally could get many updates available (close), but I can't seem to get the rest of them.  I am satisfied that I have no connectivity issues.  I can't understand why Windows Update guard fails now.  Does anyone have an idea what could be my problem?

    He did move to Win7 or is it a brand-new (ish) computer?

    What application or antivirus security suite is installed and your current subscription?  What anti-spyware (other than Defender) applications?  What third-party firewall (if applicable)?

    A (another) Norton or McAfee application has already been installed on the computer (for example, a free trial version which is preinstalled when you bought it)?

    You may encounter temporary connection [e.g. 0x80072F78] errors when you use Windows Update or Microsoft Update to install updates

  • Windows 7 Ultimate updates fail on Toshiba Satellite P100-160

After the reboot, I click on start recommended to identify problems and when you start any of the 54 iupdates Windows have been installed. I tried this 5 times now, but always without success.

    Can someone please help?

    Have you tried to install some updates instead of the 54 updates at the same time. Try again with a combination of 5 or 10 established by restarting. In addition, for the great updates, try download and install those manually from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads.

    During the installation of updates, make sure all open programs are closed, your Antivirus program is disabled temporarily too.

    I get a similar error when running dxwebsetup... any help appreciated, Peter

    Peter, I had exactly the same problem (not with Dirt2 though).

    In my case it was caused by the protection in real time to Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE). You can temporarily disable it as follows:

    -Open application "Microsoft Security Essentials" (either find in Win7 start menu or right click on its icon on the taskbar);
    -Click on the "Settings" Panel
    -In the list on the left, click "real-time Protection";
    -Clear the checkbox "enable the real-time protection (recommended) ';
    -Click on the 'Save' button at the bottom (ignore security warnings may occur);
    -Keep the window open, it is only temporary.

    At this point, you can run your dxwebsetup (or you already have the Aug2009 redist). Well, it should install.

    Once the installation is complete, remember to re-enable real-time protection in MSE! :)

    Hope this helps,
    Ben.

    PS: I have this will register as a MSE bug in connect.

    In any case, go to the start menu and type slui 4. Make sure you do it on an administrator account.

  • BitLocker preinstalled Windows Vista Ultimate Edition

    I have BitLocker on a computer pre-installed with Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, if my TPM module has been disabled; I can see the link in the BitLocker Control Panel icon to turn on after clicking on it to turn it on, it tells me to turn on the TPM secure, restart, and follow the instructions. If I turn it on, when I click on the icon of BitLocker, it tells me that my computer is not configured with bitlocker, shows as 2 drives on the left, on the right it descriptions of the show with an 'x' next to a magnifying glass on a hard drive and the word "off" after the description. Is it the way it is supposed to look like when it will run. Because I put all perimeters to activation, the initialization and the establishment. The TPM is the correct version, group policy is set to the correct specifications, I did everything what I was instructed to do. I even let the TPM to create his or her own password. I initialized and took possession of the TPM, I turned it on, I put it to ignore blocked orders. I installed the security chip. My hard drive is narrowed, there is the extra partition specified as S:, Ok he said after doing this, I have to reinstall the software, but after reinstalling the software, it says it has deleted my second partition. I did it at least 10 times aggravating. So I used the BitLocker configuration tool to shrink the drive and create the partition. Now what I am doing wrong?
