  A 'profile' means that another organization has a policy that governs the iPhone.  In other words, your friend must not have the pure iPhone and simple... He probably belongs to some organization or school with a COMPUTER service that governs.  You should contact them on this email account.

  That does not answer my question. However, I found the answer by contacting Skype. The discount is applied at the renewal of the number, as long as the user had a Skype subscription.
