  Adobe has only sell the latest version of the Creative Suite, which is CS6, so you can't buy CS5 more. Upgrades are also only available to CS6 CS5 so that CS3 would not benefit anyway.

• 4540 proBook s: need help for components choosing to upgrade.

  Given that I like much this laptop, it has a very good design, good durability and all that, I decided to use it until it breaks up what is unrecoverable. And because I use it for years, I thought to upgrade components. But there is one thing that keeps me, white list.

  Normally I buy a bunch of components and complain about here "WHY IT WORKS NOT HP * T' for each component that would not work, but I decided to ask you what components are in the whitelist so I can them carefully chosen.

  On my laptop, I can pass these things: CPU (plans to go for Core i7-3940XM), RAM (as much as possible), WLAN (any Intel with AC wireless card), SSD storage and use a disc HARD caddy to use the HARD drive. (who uses CD/DVD these days anyway? ) and screen (any IPS 1080 p with finishing screen mate, my current screen does not me, it's terrible.)

  So would anyone recommend me the components are whitlisted for this model? Or tell me how can I find out what components will work? Or if anything at least tell me if someone managed to recover a laptop (this model) via USB flash drive after a BIOS flash failure method, because I'll be playing with the white list, if I can't find the right components.

  The top of the processor page seems to be an i5 - 3380M double heart and 8 GB of DDR3 - 1333 is the most memory you can install.

  There will be a white list of wifi and it is the only list of authorization. Compatible adapters are listed in the reference Guide. You must get the Ref. HP version of the map; not just one will not work. HPs are the hardest to try and install a hacked BIOS because there is a BIOS checksum block but go ahead. There is help out there if you look pretty hard.

  The SSD and installing a disc cart hard drive are certainly options. But by the time you match it all this you will be in the range of a new laptop, I think.

  Interestingly, I tried to activate MS Reader on my HD2 tonight in preperation to give to my girlfriend (I'm getting a feeling tomorrow, she has several seldomly but I hope she'll get into the Kindle as the HD2 duel boots into Android).

  My laptop is running W7 Pro with IE9, I'm a domain administrator.

  Race through the activation that I generated an error 500 on the server each time.

  With IE9 "Run As" administrator, it works.

  Is there a discounted student os disk full windows 7 64 bit available?  not the upgrade I would like the full operating system with disc! If so how can I get it? I don't see how to get a copy with the student discount premium upgrade... I need to do a full reformat and would just use win 7 because I lost my xp disk and cannot find another one anywhere.

  You can reformat your hard drive and do a clean install with upgrade version. In fact if you have XP, you must do a clean install.

  XP to Windows 7 requires a custom installation

  You can use an upgrade disk, but you cannot make a room upgrade. You will need to do a custom clean install which will remove all of your programs, but you can save your files and settings on an external storage before doing so. In addition, you will need to reinstall all your programs. According to Microsoft the following steps:

  1. start Windows Upgrade Advisor (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/upgrade-advisor ) to see if there are known issues that may affect the installation and the question of whether you should install the version of 32 or 64 bit Windows 7.

  2 back up your files and settings. To avoid losing everything that you will need to save copies of all files, photos and other information that you want to keep an external hard drive. Windows Easy Transfer (http://windows.microsoft.com/windows-easy-transfer ) is a free tool that you can use to copy your information (but not programs) from your PC and then put them after installing Windows 7. If you do not have an external hard drive, you will not be able to use Windows Easy Transfer, instead you can copy the files you want to keep on a USB stick or CD/DVD.

  3. find the discs original installation and license/product keys associated to programs currently on your computer because you will have to manually reinstall your programs after installing Windows 7. You may be able to download programs from the Internet.

  4. Insert the Windows 7 DVD in your PC. When asked "which type of installation you want. Click on "Custom (advanced)."

  5. when Windows 7 is installed, you can use Windows Easy Transfer to restore your files & settings and use your installation diskettes to install all your programs.
