  First of all, must be defined, the grade you want, ask yourself, if you want to rank by period, branch etc, so you must use "RANK (according TO SIZE).

  2dont criteria: -check the second line "SumaTotalProyectos" which is the sum total of society in Ene-2015 (January 2015) for all projects. Who is 211 249 318,42

  3 criteria:-check the 187 157 538.57 which is the sum of the top 10 projects

  4 criteria: -which is the percentage of it, 187 157 538.57 / 211 249 318,42 = 88.60%

  How can you put?

  Check the filter of RANK

  

  2 to check the 2 criteria: total sum of society

  

  

  3 to check the 3 criteria: ranking of the sum

  There is no direct option, you can try the following workaround.

  Option-> Print-> page printable Html

  Then the file-> Save Page as

  Pharmasset Save as type as it is-> all files
  File name as Report.xls

  When you open the xls file, if you get a pop up saying problem during a load simply omit it and move forward.
  The report opens in excel.

  Or save the page as html /mht and open it with Excel, it works too.

  Note: I tested this in Mozilla

  I think you would work with your DBA to kill the session associated with the workbook running.

  A query like this will provide your DBA with all the necessary information, it must:

  Select
  vs.*
  Of
  v$ session vs
  where
  vs. Program like 'dis51ws@% ';

  After the session was killed, it is a deletion of standard workbook (select file > open workbooks, and then right click on the name of the workbook, and then select delete).

  You can always extend to do an outer join between EUL5_DOCUMENTS and EUL5_QPP_STATS to see workbooks that have never been performed, however I find that this is rarely the case.

  I'm developing a discoverer report which columns are the following
  
  Place name, Department, Emp, County. A location will be more than one Department and a Department has more than one employee.
  
  Here is an example of output. (Here * is nothing but empty space) In America, we have 2 departments and a Department has 3 employees other has an employee so America County is 4

  All bring the report I just dragged all the columns required in the display list and sorted by location, Department.
  
  But in the same place, deparment repeat for each employee that should not happen.
  
  Also how this group and can also let me know how to get the total at the end of each group.
  
  And finally, I need ti get the total general for all locations

  Hello

  The report should consolidate sort the location and Department. Goto the type tab and select the location and the Department, then change to kind of group. The location must be sorted first.

  Yes, there are but belong to the author of the report to make it effective. During the phase of creation of parameter, on the dialog box new setting at the bottom right is a checkbox that allows the user to associate this setting with the results of a previous parameter. By default, it is disabled so you have to manually set. Once set, you can choose which previous parameter, you can base it on.

  The general process is called cascading parameters.

  Please make sure that settings are available to the end user in the right order. For example, you could offer to the end user a parameter to choose a year, with the second parameter that may be the month. If these two were partners, then the list of values proposed for the month will be préfiltrée for the months in the year (s) taken earlier.

  EI here some notes of my Oracle Discoverer 10g Handbook:

  Cascading parameters are parameters that are restricted by the presence of a filter on a pre-existing condition. That the State can either be a coded irreversible condition or a condition that is associated with a previously invited parameter. Using cascading parameters, you can ensure that the lists of values are seeded to ensure that only the correct list is available for selection.

  We recommend that in order to effectively use cascading parameters, you create these settings on items that a) have lists of values and (b) are contained in the same hierarchy of drill discoverer. This is simply for reasons of performance and will not be applied by Scout. Oracle advises users not to create parameters cascading on points non-forage-hierarchy, although users can still go ahead and do so if they wish.

  Hi Gayatri

  Did you not see my answer for the CASE because the CASE offer the use of the clause BETWEEN, but DECODE indeed does not work. Let me give you a quick summary of DECODE.

  In its simplest form, it takes 4 values and looks like this: DECODE (A, B, C, D)

  This basically means, IF A = B THEN C D OTHER

  The trick to solve ENTERS a DECODING is to work on algoriths where A = B. Because we do not know how values are from 00 to 99, although I could tell there were 100 we would of course 100 pieces in DECODING, but that would be awful. How about if we look at it another way and say this:

  IF PART_NUMBER< 'sdk00'="" then="">
  ELSE IF PART_NUMBER > 'SDK99' DO pay_AMOUNT
  ANOTHER pay_amount + 100

  This statement was only 2 hard coded values, but how do you DECODE work with less of? Easy, we use the function LESS. The LEAST function takes 2 values and returns the one with the lowest value. So I use LESS (PART_NUMBER, 'SDK00'), then whenever the PART_NUMBER is lower than SDK00 it will be true. A similar situation exists for the inverse function more GRAND. Put it all together, then you can do this:

  DECODE (PART_NUMBER, BIGGER (PART_NUMBER, 'SDK00'), DECODE (PART_NUMBER, LESS (PART_NUMBER, 'SDK99'), PAY_AMOUNT * 100, PAY_AMOUNT), PAY_AMOUNT)

  In English it can be read as follows:

  IF the PART_NUMBER is greater than or equal to SDK00 and the PART_NUMBER is less than or equal to SDK99 THEN PAY_AMOUNT x 100 ELSE 0

  I fear that Oracle failed to conversion of the discoverer in OBIEE workbooks. It is still on the radar, but they have nothing.

  For some of my clients, it's a huge setback. I have a client who has more than 32,000 discoverer workbooks and adding more at a rate of about 5 000 per year. Obviously, a customer of this size is a potential customer for OBIEE. The only thing they can do now is to rewrite all the reports.

  To this would be a huge task and I did some math for them. Let's say you can rewrite a report every 15 minutes, to test and parallel runs. So you can convert 4 in an hour or a full day 32. 32 32 000 Diviiding means that they would need to allocate 1,000 days-men for the task. Knowing that, on average, a person works about 220 days a year and you are looking at about 5 years of human, not including potentially 1000's of new discoverer workbooks that were created at this time. Needless to say that my client is not happy with Oracle and refuse to engage in this way stick with the discoverer.

  I know for a fact, this company is not alone and I personally urge Oracle to allocate resources to correctly convert the discoverer workbooks. I know part of the problem is that there are things that discoverer takes his cruising speed OBIEE cannot do or has great difficulty with. I don't see how you can convert up to OBIEE customers can do everything that Finder can do.

  My organization has decided to build their reports and dashboards using obiee. I am involved in this mission, but I don't have in-depth knowledge he obiee.  My question is what do we need to have the installation of the data warehouse?   OBIEE is a software to run without a good understanding of its complex concepts. I would really recommend attending a training course, or at least a book (for example this or this). There are MANY items of general blog on OBIEE, many of which are of poor quality and are all step-by-step guides on how to do a particular task, without explaining the overall situation.

  If you want to use OBIEE and to make it a success, you have learned to understand the basics.

  To answer your question directly:

  -BI Publisher is not the same thing as OBIEE. It is a component of it (but also autonomous available). OBIEE makes data accessible through 'Dashboards' which is made up of 'Analysis', written in the answers tool. Dashboards can also contain content BI Publisher if you want

  -OBIEE can report against the many sources of different data, one or more data warehouse and transactional. Most of the OBIEE implementations that perform well are based against dedicated DW, but is not a mandatory condition.

  -If reports against a DW real or not, when you build the repository OBIEE you build a "virtual" data warehouse, in other words, you dimensionally model all your business in one data set of logic diagrams in Star.

  You need to install

  11.1.1.6.2 BP1
  

  That should solve any problems you encounter.

• How to disable the save option for shared reports in OBIEE?

  We have a set of ad hoc reports in the shared folder of OBIEE that will be accessed by approximately 50 users. Each user can modify reports by adding or removing columns and keep them according to their requirement. That's why users should not save reports in the shared folder. Instead, they should be able to modify reports and do a save as to save the reports in my folder. Kindly help us in disabling option for shared reports.

  For these users try to read only on shared folders, so that indirectly save them is disabled on Shared as well as have to use Save as.

  For the creation of new reports.

  1. got to-> New-> analysis you'll have your presentation Tables under Select topic area
  Click on your domain-> you will get the list of tables in the area in question
  2 expand the folders, and then click the required column.
  3. click on the results tab - > you will get the title and the Table View
  4 format your Table and title
  5. save your new report in the shared folders (you can create your own folder under the Shared folder)

  View reports on the dashboard.

  1 Got to-> New-> dashboard-> you'll get new window Dashboard
  Name - the name of your dashboard
  Select location - / sharing of files/Standard dashboard.
  Click Ok-> you will get the blank window dashboard.
  2. change the dashboard-> drag and drop your saved from Shard folder under catalog reports
  3. click on the Save button (top right) and save your dashboard-> click Run [Green right arrow (top right)].
  4. now, you will have your report in your dashboard page.
  Rename the dashboard Page

  Change the dashboard - > click Properties Nedt to the X symbol-> dashboard properties
  -> You-> the Dashboard Properties window select the dashboard Page-> rename

  Guests:

  1 Got to-> New-> dashboard-> you prompt will have your presentation Tables under Select topic area
  Click on your domain-> you will get the dialog window Untitle
  -> Symbol-> column + click Guest-> you will get the list of tables
  2 expand the folders, and then click the required columns in the list (the columns should be table of your report).
  3. record your guest again in the shared folders.

  Note: Quick columns must be Promptd is in your filters to reports.
