• DAQmx tasks name variable

  Can someone explain why use a variable LabVIEWIOControl to keep the name of the task of DAQmx, Labview causes the sequence editor to become extremely slow. The vi attached does nothing more to open a chan (output on a pxi-6723) and its closure via the parameter of OPERATION enum (see teststand sequence).

  To simulate the problem, right click on the Action step and select "define the module." Once the tab "module" is open, click back and forth between Action 1 and 2 of the Action (1,2,1,2, 1.etc). You should see some delay, pulling up info from module of step up 2-1.

  My 'real' application works well, but a step of editing may take 10 seconds to get the info from the module. Note: This is the type of variable only what causes this problem that I have used cluster, string, enums, tables ect in the past without problems.

  I have attached a seq teststand advocating the vi.

  You will need to join with USER_VIEWS USER_DEPENDENCIES for the list of dependent views on a particular table.

• Verification of task names valid in the basis of NOR-DAQ

  I have a question about the configuration of the tasks in the version of Base of NOR-DAQmx (I need basic because the application will need to be able to run on both Windows and Mac computers). The material is a box USB-6009, ordered through LabView. When you create a task inside LabView, is it possible to tell if the name you choose is already in use or not?  Similarly, is it possible to get a list of and if all tasks are running?

  The context is that I have a subroutine that made a brief burst of acquistion of analog input and then passes the result to the caller. I would like also to the subroutine to run standalone for different testing purposes. Normally, I would have the subroutine create and configure a task, the measure and then close the task. The problem is that the process of create/set up/start takes about 200-250 milliseconds (the measure itself is about 20 ms) that is long enough that I don't want to go through it whenever the subroutine is called from the top (I need to call this routine and do some other stuff a few times per second). So what I would is have the name of the task as a control on the subroutine, test that the value is a valid and if not valid only the initialization/etc. in the context of the subroutine, but if the subroutine has been passed a valid task from the top to skip a step all the time.

  Looking through all of Base of NOR-DAQ functions, it doesn't seem to be something that allows me to do this kind of check with the exception of brute force to try to create a task and trapping so all errors that might be generated.

  Suggestions (or ways) welcome.

  It seems that the property node is a component DAQmx, not a component DAQmx Base .  I can't find any DAQmx Base property nodes.

  Try to replace the property node of the tasks with the DAQmx Base get tasks.vi.  It is not in the DAQmx Base palette. It's a Subvi DAQmx Base create Task.vi.  Caution: when you use a Subvi, which isn't on the pallets, know that they are generally not documented well and are subject to change in future versions of LV

  

  If you weren't aware, DAQmx Base is written in LV and almost all the diagrams are not p [rotege so you can look inside and see how things are doing.

• How to display all records for all accounts?

  I have recently restored accounts etc via Mozilla Backup file *.pcv. It looks that everything came OK.
  Only one problem - cannot display a folder associated with the two accounts.
  The account setting are fine (incoming settings / outgoing / nameservers etc..) -
  So from what I can see - I think it's just a display problem.

  If I go | Folder | < < account name > > | then I can 'see' all the names of folders and Inbox for the account. I just can't view any of these these. When I choose "go", nothing happens.
  Usually I would be displayed in the tree structure in the left pane.

  The rules of filtering for both accounts are all present.

  I can send email from this account.

  When I send to this email address, I get a return delivery receipt.

  I can see the "local folders".

  It seems that my screen may not display all colors corectly and it seems protected by a kind of tasks/works of art in most colors.

  You can see the first color - pure red it seems correct and solid but second it - a small red varation there artifacts / protected by a kind of tasks.

  I learned that it is a problem of dithering that can be set in the BIOS.

  For the Satellite A100-237 the problem has been resolved by downgrading to an older version of bios, but what can I do with my laptop Tecra A7-112? :|

  Have you checked whether the BIOS most recent update has been published on the driver page?
  I put t know if it helps but you can also try to update the display driver.

• task error DAQmx beginning-88709

  Hi all

  I have a chassis PXI-1045 filled with modules of the PXI-6120 S Series digitizer. I started to have problems when lance VI, receiving daqmx error task start-88709, indicating that a device has been removed or abandoned task. A clock device had been exchanged for the pxi-6653 to 6651 and re-configed at MAX (4.7). I found that text of presentation on this site about this was a problem common to all versions of DAQmx device before 9.2.2 drivers even if I had never seen him before the swapout of the card. 9.2.2 upgrade was the recommended fix that was done without problems. However, the problem persists. Now I also have a new problem on shutdown of a task, editing and restart the task. The clock and trigger signals are there... If these issues are linked and does anyone have a solution?  Thank you!

• Data channel read name DAQmx without installed DAQmx

  We have data files, including a header with the names of channels in the DAQmx channel name format.

  Now, we want to send a Labview application to our customer by which they can open these files and just seeing the names of channels in the form of text. Can we make such an application without requiring the customer to install DAQmx. We use Labview 7.1.1 and after installing the application, it asks for nivaiu.dll, nipalu.dll nipalut.dll and so on. Change the simple arrays of strings file header gives compatibility on old data problems.

  Problem solved!

  Control of channel name DAQmx can serve as a binary file read model without installing DAQmx separately. I found a Subvi calling "DAQmx unflatten string. After the removal of this call everythings working.

  Tasks in this project are preconfigured in MAX, but once the operator needed to enter and change the sampling frequency, that I would like to add a routine to start to check the sampling rate of the configured tasks. I know that using a DAQmx property node can return task names and channel names, but what I could use is a property node to return the sampling frequency of the task. A knowledge of a way to do this?

  If you place a property on the block schema node, connect it to your task control. Right-click on the property node, and then select the DAQmx Timing (class select DAQmx-> DAQmx Timing). Then select the sample-Rate property > clock.

At the top of the list is the ability to 'play together', but I can't understand how to display all the songs of the artist in a large list, regardless of the album.   The choice of the artist. Then select play all. Then press the menu button (at the bottom of the scroll wheel). Then select back to list of musk. This goes to a list of songs and does not account for the album.

• "The selected task... no longer exists" for almost all tasks (Win7)

  I opened the Task Scheduler in Windows 7 the other day and received dozens of separate messages, telling me that the tasks no longer existed. This included not only those that I created myself, but also for programs installed and crucial tasks of Windows System. The Scheduler is running and knows the names of tasks, such as confirmed by the command line.

  I looked at the entrance to register TaskCache and it seems that only 4 tasks remain in it - a random selection that includes one of McAfee, two Google Update and Windows Defender. No other tasks that have xml files in the task (C:\Windows\System32\Tasks) folder are listed.

  I read that these errors can be resolved by emptying the jobs directory of all files except those appearing in the registry and then re-import all the. I tried this for a single task that I created myself, and it succeeded. The fact for all tasks would take a very long time, but there is another problem: the Windows themselves tasks do not appear in the registry and I can't move or delete the Windows subdirectory under the task (C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows) folder, even when I start a cmd as administrator session.

  I don't think that this is supported.

  I use this work around: you can move the notification area on the screen you want (instead of just the main screen).

  Right click on the task bar.
  Properties.
  Uncheck the "display the taskbar on all screens.
  Apply.
  Drag the taskbar 'primary monitor' rest on the screen you want.
  Check "show the taskbar on all screens.
  ... you are finished. Want the notification area now on what you watch.

  Unplug additional screens and notification area will return to the primary.

  It would be VERY characteristic worth having the area of notification on all monitors.
