  Then I do my writing code and start the task

  When I move my code in my application hangs when it comes to DAQmxRegisterEveryNSamplesEvent with the following error

  When you're talking about an alternative, do you mean a sleeve of spare or chassis or an alternative in the code?

  If it's a matter of code, then you probably need to change your software architecture to adapt the capacity of the installation.   1 does Daq stop task VI really return to the State of the task is in front the DAQmx Start Task or DAQmx writing? Digital Input taking as an example, I don't think that the status of the task means that input data because I tried and I can't really back to the entry level it was.

  Maybe more experienced people can help to share their expertise.

  2. the information in help indicates "virtual channels created with the function/VI DAQmx create Virtual Channel are called virtual channels the and cannot be used in the task." But I don't know what "in his work" means.

  3. could I get some guidelines or expertise on the Labview programmers when use virtual channels the and when, to the more global?

  If you create a channel of the task, or scale just usuing the screw to create or Assistant session wire io is the only way to pass the info autour.  It is not saved anywhere on the disc.  A channel of the task or the scale in a project can be used by anything in this project.  A channel of the task or the scale recorded in MAX can be used by anything on this machine.  Its an extended thing.

  And Yes, the DAQ Assistant fresh extra performance overhead and the poor than the DAQmx API.  Often, it won't have the impact of a little experiment.  Large applications should avoid the express Visa.

• Error 200587 DAQmx beginning to Task.vi:

  I'm having a problem similar to what is described in this post.

  It's a fairly simple setup, but I can't make it work right.

  The engine of a valve control, I created a class to help me.

  My method takes a number of pulses and direction and use DAQmx I put management and call another method to generate the square wave.

  When I run all separate I have no [slow] problem when I change the pulse by hand. When I try to put that in a PID loop, I get an error. I tried a few different approaches, but I'm starting to run out of ideas... Any help I can get I like you a lot.

  One of my hypotheses is that I am trying to send a new impetus [sqw] until the channel is free again, but I got the same after that I tried to slow down my loop pid to 5000ms.

  Requested operation cannot be performed, because the digital lines specified are reserved or the device is not present in NEITHER-DAQmx.

  It is possible that these lines are reserved by another task, the device is used through the interface of NOR-traditional DAQ or the device is reset. You can also get the error if the specified resource is currently used by LabVIEW network variables related to the acquisition of data string, or if the data acquisition channel is used in any OPC Client software.

  If you use these lines with another task, wait until the task is complete.  If you use the traditional device through NOR-DAQ interface and you want to use with NOR-DAQmx, reset (initialization) the traditional device using the NOR-DAQ interface. If you are resetting the device, wait for the reset at the end.

• What is error 50103? the task of DAQmx START?

  I use cDAQ 9174 with NI 9401 to measure the period of the encoder.  I have two encoders and learned that I need to have a separate task for each.  Initially, I got an error telling me that the task was not reserved, so I followed the advice of the forum and added the TASK of CONTROL DAQmx, STORE of the value.  That eliminates the error, but now I have a new error 50103, which offers very few details of what actually is the error.  The seal is a snippet of the code, you see where there are three tasks, two tasks of meter to measure the period of encoder, and task of measurement of blood pressure, which in my opinion is not related to this error.

  The possible reasons: NI Platform Services: T / he said that resource is reserved.  the operation could not be performed as indicated.

• Tasks of DAQmx Digital i/o-error-200170

  I'm working on a project to use DAQmx for write and read digital channels, as well as monitor the thermocouples.  There are already source code that initializes the tasks of channels HAVE thermocouples.  I tried to imitate (to some extent) that was task initlization HAVE it, except that I read that there is a VI DAQmx flatten that allows me to send a picture and the channels I want and then create tasks and virtual channels.  I posted a picture of my code.  The error I get is-200170 for the DI and the DO.  Can someone please explain what I'm doing wrong and what it is that I do not understand about tasks?  Please and thank you.

  

  My guess is that the values of "ports" are disabled.  I do not know what DAQ you, but in my experience, usually you have/port0/$line0, line1/port0 /... / port0/line6, line7/port0 /, then you start the next with $line0/port1 port /, / port1/line1, etc..

  Basically grouping them 8 lines / port.

  Now you try/$line0/port0, port1/line1 /... / port31/line31.

• Error 200428 creating task in DAQmx Base

  I wrote a basic program that captures a voltage signal, plots and written to a file, but when I run it, I get this error message:

  "Error-200428 occurred at the value passed to the control task/channels is not valid."

  I enclose a copy of my VI. At first, I do not have the VI 'DAQmx Base create a task' in the block diagram, and I was getting the above error. After a search through some documents, it seems that the problem was that I had to put the VI to "Create a task" in when you use DAQmx Base. Unfortunately when I did, I kept getting the same error.

  Y at - it something I'm doing wrong here?

  Material: NEITHER myDAQ

  Hi Ali.

  You encounter this error, because NEITHER-DAQmx Base does not support unit OR-myDAQ . You have NEITHER-DAQmx for myDAQ installed, however, that supports this feature.

  I am creating a task entry and exit on two different lines of the same Port. When I do this in the measurement and Automation Explorer, the port works very well with the input and output lines, but when I do it by programming in LabVIEW, I get an error in the Task.vi start DAQmx.

  

  I'd be happy if someone of you could let me know why this is happening. (As the code should be kept confidential, I can't provide the screw )

  Nitz,

  You see this error with which camera?  Most of the more recently designed devices (M series, X series) allow digital to be configured individually.  However, some devices that were designed more there only support with configurable port.  This would be true for PXI-65xx devices or material of the E series.

  First of all, note that I'm not very familiar with DAQmx and labview.

  I try to use two DAQmx tasks to communicate with a USB-6008, each task has a unique name, of course.

  Now, I have successfully created these two tasks, I'm trying to do a VI that simply destroy these two tasks (to be used at the end of the program).

  And... no matter how I try, there is no way to destroy any task either programmatically or with the created DAQ assistant.

  First, to test the object, I created a task with MAX (see first photo)

  Then I try with this .vi delete... but it does not work.

  Am I missing something?

  I've run the vi you have attached and run.  Yes, it creates a visible task in max.

  I used the function "Remove DAQmx saved task.vi" which removed the 'visible' task of max

  Find the vi attached to this function and it works fine.

  Is there a particular reason that you use LabVIEW 64-bit? I would like to try with the 32-bit version. I also suggest that try you without the DAQ Assistant.

  I try to get the labview 10.0 working in opensuse 11.4. I installed components and all of them seem to work well.

  The PCI card is also detected by labview. When I lsdaq of tpe on the command line. I get the following output

  You use DAQmx 8.0.2 or use DAQmx Base 3.4? If you use DAQmx Base, then you will need create a task before you create channels.  "" Try to run an example program which can be found by navigating to help"find examples" material input and output "DAQmx if you have DAQmx 8.0.2 and can be found in /examples/daqmxbase if you have DAQmx Base 3.4.

• -200428 - change a channel in a predefined task of DAQmx

  I was sure that I had done this before, but maybe not.  I have a Setup task in MAX spanning 3 different analog input modules on a cDAQ chasssis.

  I'm trying to change the type of thermocouple on the TC channel from the installation configuration data.  So, I have the task selected as a constant and feed it into a knot DAQmx task to the list of channels.  I can see the list of channels very well and all channels are present, but when I try to break the chain of the thermocouple out of the table and feed it into a knot DAQmx Channel, I get an error-200428, that value must reference a valid task or valid virtual channels.

  I'm trying to set up a task to read all 16 channel differential on a NI 9205.

  I get an error-200077 when I get to add channel8 (from count to zero) to the task, almost as if the software

  I have a control DAQmx task name on my VI which allows the user to choose from a list of existing tasks created in MAX.

  I prefer this list of "available tasks" to view (and possibly have a selected task) by using a listbox control.

  For the life of me I can't figure out how to get the DAQmx tasks in a listbox.

  Someone at - it advice?

  Where are you the vaiants of?  It must be an array of tasks (a task DAQmx is a type of data).  Wire just this table directly in the Ref propty to your listbox.
