Display file name

Is there anyway to display the name of the file instead of just the images in numberical order?

Hi Mary. There isn't currently a way to display the names of files to revel. If you download a file on your computer when logged into the app to revel, it will keep its name of original file, however.

You have chosen to organize the display by date. Change votes to zero, or name.

  • Assistant Contact sheet print file names display problem

In Windows XP, I could select a group of images and print a Board-contact via the Photo Printing Wizard.  File names were centered under the picture and WRAPPED when the name of the file has been long.

In Windows Vista, it works, EXCEPT that file names are centered and TRUNCATED.  This isn't the desired behavior.  Y at - there a fix, or workaround or alternative solution?  (In addition to copying the files back to a XP machine?)

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello BarbaraC,

Try the following link to see if it will display full of names of files without truncating them.  I don't think that the result you're looking for in Vista is possible.  Everything I read indicates that Microsoft truncates file names to get under the tile.

    See you soon

  • Vista will not display description of the file on mouse over. File name, Type, size, and Date modified see the upward, but no description.

Vista will not display description of the file on mouse over. When I mouse over, a pop-up window displays showing: file name, Type, size and Date of change, however, it does not show the description of the file.

So, for example if I have 5 files on different types of screw - the description tells me that the size of the screws. IE. 1.5 mm or 1. 8 mm.

Update: try to get the description of the file displayed messing around in the file properties, now out of 10 records, only 2 includes the name of the file in the mice on the pop-up window. So now what lack us, it's the file name and the Description file.
    Help, please...

Description of the file in as long as this is not one of the available variables, which can be shown with ToolTips - but there are others who could easily serve the same purpose. Here are the options:

    Created
    DocAuthor
    DocComments
    DocSubject
    DocTitle
    Modified
    Name

Here is an article on how to change what is shown. http://www.ghacks.net/2008/02/10/customize-windows-explorer-tooltips/ . It is to change the registry, make sure you so first back it up before doing anything so that you can recover in case you make a mistake (or do the right thing, but it does not work as expected). http://www.instant-registry-fixes.org/how-to-backup-windows-vista-registry/ .

    I hope this helps.

  • Can Lightroom displays the name of the file in a slide show

As part of a photography club, my role is to display images on a projector for the monthly contest which is held.  As part of this process, I need to be able to display the name of the file during the slide show so that others know who the photograph belongs to which is displayed.  I can't find a way to do this via a custom slide show.

Now 'Openness' does that very well, but later "Aperture" will die a slow and painful death as revisions of the progress of OS X in the future.  for example, Apple is no longer supports Aperture.

If there isn't a way to do that currently in Lightroom so I hope that Adobe developers reading this and might consider adding this to a future revision.  I doubt that I would be the only member of a photography club all over the world who seek this facility in Lightroom.  The fundamental role of photography clubs is to encourage members to put to the challenge and by holding competitions to achieve this effect.  The I am involved in the club is the newest and most dynamic in our State of Western Australia and which is due to the incredible power of the founder of the club (a professional photographer of Rockingham) which constantly inspires us all.

    Hi Chrispy104,

46 years of experience club here, ask here!

    Easy when you know how!

    In the slideshow module.

Place a check/tick in the 'Text Overlay' Control Panel-

Click on ABC to allow text on the screen-(cela peut être fait plus d'une fois pour avoir plusieurs zones de texte!)

You can move, resize, make set, set the opacity, or delete text boxes when they are 'active' and surrounded by the resizing border.

Click on the drop down Menu to a choice-

You can simply choose "Filename" or...

If you choose 'change... '. "you enter in the text template editor, and design you everything WHAT you want to see the.

If you click the menu drop-down at the end of the [Preset] box in the editor, you can save the preset for future use!

Go to file - properties and under the initial view, select Show "File Name" instead of "title of Document".

  • Is there a way to always display a file name in the import screen?

I don't want to add everything in a folder to the catalog and it is very annoying to have to hover over the image to see the file name.  I have not found any toggle to display the name of the file.  Anyone have any ideas?

This feature is not available in Lightroom 6.2/Lightroom CC 2015.2

You can go back to Lightroom 6.1.1/Lighroom CC 2015.1.1 where the feature is available, or wait for the next update that may (or may not) have this feature returned.

  • Display the file names on stills in Premiere CS6

I need to know if there is a method in first CS6 to have file names of still images displayed, without doing it manually for each title cards. I have more than 400 images to deal with and no automated process would be useful.

No effect of the name of the element in CS6, was introduced in CC.

The path of the file is the full description where the file is located in the language of the operating system, including drive, directory and file name and extension.

In the above example, the file path combines the two circled items-"E:\Webpix" and "BleedingHeart.JPG", the path to the file would be "E:\Webpix\BleedingHeart.JPG".  If you do not have an equal sign in the name of the file, you must have one in the folder or the equivalent.

  • How to display the name of the file of the photo?

Shouldn't these meda data see the load with the photo. When I share similar pictures with people, I wish they were able to refer to a file name.

Display of file names is not a common feature of revel. Some users have asked for to display metadata and it's on the wish list for review.
