  One solution is to cut the string as = $b $a.Split([char]0x0a)

  Then read the lines simple as $b.item (n) beginning with index 0. $b.count returns the number of lines.

  I'm writing a java script to delete the contents of the fields when a checkbox's checked to disabled.  I have a java script to fill in the field when the checkbox is enabled (which works perfectly).  But in the case where the user accidentally checks the field and wants to uncheck the box I would like the content of field that were initially filled from the first java script to be removed/disabled.

  When I had similar problems with Toshiba response was that the browser is intended for limited use. My problem was not being able to access any site that requires a password. Not rocket science you'd think!

  I use the browser Blackberry 2 custom field in my application to display local html pages that I load device SD Card. For the few notes I met the application crash.

  I quickly tested behavior Blackberry browser for these pages and found that it crashes too. Steps to reproduce:

  4. try to open the test.html file by clicking on it.

  5 blackberry browser will crash.

  Thank you for your comments. But I finally found the solution me

  The solution is the following:

  (1) change us html so that it will contain no image resources.

  (2) for each image resources, we create something like

  or any other appropriate HTML element. Here, we will retain certain information that will help us identify how and where we need to charge, a kind of identity.

  (3) first load us the HTML page in the application. It should load without any problems.

  (4) then call us the JavaScript function that will replace our

  items with images using the timer. It is possible with BrowserField2.invokeScript (). When the script will replace an HTML element with element, which could cause some resources load (I mean handleResourceRequest), so you should run with it.

  I tested this solution in my application and crash problems have been solved even when we have a lot of images on the web page stored locally in the device memory or on the SD card.

  If I understand you correctly, that you are trying to achieve is to have a situation where you enter a page and is already an empty record ready for the user to insert data in, and so you won't have to press the button to the right of exploitation to create?

  Another problem is the time for video playback in the default browser for the blackberry 8900. When I tried the same thing in android and iphone taking 7-8 seconds to play. But 8900 takes 45 to 60 seconds.

  I am able to reproduce this problem.  It is caused by a problem with the BrowserField himself.  I don't have a work around for this when using the BrowserField.  You could launch the browser to display the page or play the video directly in your application using the player class.

  Our development team is aware of this problem, which should be resolved in a future version of BlackBerry Device Software.

  I develop a native app that involves a lot of content in the file. I can show the list of files. When I open the file content, the content must be displayed in the Explorer. I can show the content in the browser as a separate instance. Can I integrate the content in the browser on the Blackberry screen?
