  Here's a vSphere SDK for Perl script that extracts the MAC addresses for all your virtual machines - http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-10490

  You should be able to take it and translate it into any language vSphere SDK you plan to use. Basically you'll be listing through virtual hardware for the virtual machine to search for devices of type VirtualEthernetCard and then retrieve the MAC address of each device.

  Basically I have a vertical field Manager ful of custom components.

  Basically this custom components, draws the user name, some other info and pictures of the user related to their account.

  It all works very well, but what I'm trying to do is to get the exact field on the vertical field Manager at any time. You see, while it displays the image of the user, I download from a Web server (and it will display a picture by default while it is downloading). So what I'm trying to do is go to the correct custom component of the vertical field each time Manager, so I can quickly change the image is correct, once I get the correct uploaded image. The manager of vertical field is called via the standard method.

  I suggest that you give to your download manager - a reference to the contact that you update, if networking is done, you can refresh it.

  Try the getLeafFieldwithFocus() method. It will always return no Manager field. You can compare using the instanceof operator.

  I work on a PDF form and am stuck on one of my calculations. There are two fields 'desired Start Date", which is a date entered by the user. The "desired end" date is one year from date entered by the user. I figured out - however, before the user enters a date, I want this field remains empty. Currently, it fills with 01/00/000. How can I get this field to calculate not unless a date is entered by the user? So far, I tried this but can not get the blank to stay:

  You may need to change the date format "mm/dd/yyyy", I used to match the formats of date fields.

  My computer gets the Blue Screen of Death, whenever I try to restart or shut down. He begins to run the shutdown process, then give me the BSOD. I havn't changed any hardware recently.   Thanks for the file. It seems you Malwarebytes Anti-malware installed on your computer and the driver for the software, c:\windows\system32\drivers\mbam.sys, might be the cause of the problem. This could be the result of Malwarebytes in conflict with other security software that is installed on your computer. Please give me a complete list of all security i.e. anti-virus software and other malicious software that are installed scanners.

  It also seems that you are running Windows Server 2003 sp2. I already asked that clarify you that. You can do it.

  If you are able to start the computer and uninstall Malwarebytes using Revo Uninstaller Portable way. Restart the computer and see if it still crashes. If you are not able to boot the computer to uninstall the software, you can boot from a live cd and delete the file in question. The location of the file is C:\windows/system32/drivers/mbam.sys.

• Is there a way to get the program volume control on my computer without my windows disc? Windows came preintalled on my laptop.

  My old laptop was able to break on me, so I had to get a new one. Initially, I bought a tablet of bamboo comes with Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 (it happened quite earlier, in fact). I searched the CD install on my new laptop, but I failed to find it and after going through my room throughout the whole garage and cellar, I came to the conclusion that it's probably lost for good. It seems too have registered my product before, but I don't remember my old Adobe ID or password or anything. Also, I had to change emails because my old one hacked, so the email associated with all that was my former Adobe ID is now useless for me. However, I still have my serial number of the product, and I want to know if there is any way I can get possibly the items on my new laptop without having to pay for it. I was actually very happy with Elements 5.0, I don't really care get the version update unless necessary somehow. Is there a way this can possibly be done? Any help is appreciated at all very well.

  Also, my old laptop is a Toshiba PC laptop, and now I have a laptop Dell PC, so no Mac for me. Not sure if this is relevant, just thought I should probably include just in case.

  Unfortunately, the oldest available version of Photoshop Elements is version 7.  I don't know of any resource to download version 5.

  If it is doubtful that the former of a version would work on a new machine.

  Can anyone suggest an effective method for 3.5-4 VM?

  Vcenter v2.5.0 with ESX 3.5 on a Windows 2003 server, I am able to "Take inventory", but when I try to add another ESX 4.0 host, I get the error "Validation does not apply this time. Also I am not able to create a new virtual machine and use the existing hard drive hard file.

  The CPU, network and storage of data are the same.

  I can export the virtual machine to the virtual server Center 3.5 on the server for vSphere 4.0, but this requires rewriting the same data store, which is a huge waste of time when I'm remaining on the same data store. Can anyone suggest a procedure to follow for 3.5-4 VM? Thanks,-Jeff

  Your best approach would be to use VMware Converter.  Your problem is that you have vCenter 2.5, and who cannot manage the 4.0 host.

  I have my computer running virtual Windows 7 checked. I then checked back in the VM. I need to increase disk space on drive C (the winSxS directory seems to never stop growing). But there is a snapshot on the disc 'View Local Mode of instantaneous anchorage'. What are the consequences of the removal of the snapshot myself in order to increase the size of the disk? Throw this out of sync between my laptop and the virtual computer and require all of ~ 30 GB to download again?

  If a replication extracted from a desktop computer, a snapshot of the local desktop is created and then the changes are replicated with the data center.
  If you delete the snapshot, you ensure that you validate the changes.  This force probably allows you to download all of the Office during the next Check-Out operation.
