Display Internet explorer opening is small.

When I open internet explorer the size of the window is the right size, but the displayed information are small. If I go to the page, then expand it show that it is 100% display. I like the display to 150%. Is it there to save the setting of 150% and it shows all the time then this size. It becomes very annoying, changing the display of the page whenever I change web pages or reopen Internet explorer.

Greetings,

In your status bar, click the down arrow next to your zoom setting > all at the bottom of the window > click Custom > change the parameter default to 150%, or when you choose

Who should do it for you, close and reopen IE.

  • Why internet Explorer opens in the small window

After I opened my home page in Internet explorer 7. Whenever I click on the links they allways open in small windows. I tried to resize and closing, but it makes no difference, I also tried to hold the SHIFT key and the keys CTRL but in vain.

The whole recall settings has been nothing else into trouble for Microsoft.  Your "bug light" comment is correct to halfway.

However, there are some things that you can try and I hope you find a solution.

Have you tried to resize your window and close the resized window via clicking on the top left corner of the window (Yes left) hand and selecting 'close' in the menu?

    Hello

If you can, please respond in Italian, in the contrary case, it's the same thing in English!

I bought my new satellite a300 1ih (W.VISTA) about a week before, but I have a problem: when I use Internet Explorer and Mozilla same, FIrerfox, it uses to open advertising web pages by itself.

I have banned the pop up and I selctioned Protection-> high for everything.

Then I looked online for a solution and found out that a lot of people have the same problem. What can I do?

Please help me :( Sorry for the English

In case I would recommend allowing a pop-up blocker.

In IE-> tools-> Internet Options-> privacy-> turn the popup blocker

Secondly I advise to use anti-virus software and Trojan and scan your entire operating system.

  • Windows Internet Explorer opens automatically at startup of the Facebook page

I use Windows Vista Home Premium software on a Gateway computer. For some reason any start-up, my Windows Internet Explorer is automatically upwards, and there a Web Facebook.com page already on the screen asking you to sign up for Facebook. It flashes at the bottom of my screen until I click on it. I don't want no internet will automatically launch and I want either of Facebook. How can I keep internet start automatically without my even clicking on it? Thanks for the help.

    Dear Rachel,

    Please, try the following steps.

    (1) check that the homepage of your Internet Explorer is not "facebook.com" - could be found under Tools-> Internet Options-> general, in the section "Home Page." If you do not have "facebook.com" written there, replace it with another site that you want to load when you start your browser or with "subject: empty ' If you just want a blank window is displayed when you run your browser.

    (2) on your Start menu, choose programs-> startup programs list. If "Internet Explorer" is in the list, just simply delete.

((3) if (2)) does not help, try running 'msconfig' (choose Run from the Start Menu and just type "msconfig" in the window that appears), go to "Startup" and uncheck a box near point "Windows Internet Explorer".

    2. are you having problem opening all the icons on the desktop?

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

You can check the Safe Mode issue.

    Reference:

Start your computer in safe mode

    Step 2:

If the issue is not still in Mode safe try boot minimum troubleshooting:

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

Note: After a repair, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

    Method 2:

This problem may also come from Virus/Malware, I would suggest that you download and run a full scan of the system using the Microsoft Safety Scanner.

    Microsoft safety scanner

    Note:

The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

This problem only recently begun? You have McAfee? McAfee has been updated at the same time as the last batch of updates from Windows 7 and it seems to be the cause of internet connection problems reported for most, if not all, entry.

See the communication from this "criticism" - McAfee

Some customers may experience a loss of network connectivity and/or errors in McAfee Security Center after a recent update

You should make the fix McAfee, if necessary. There are corresponding communications for their enterprise products.

I had to run the removal of McAfee Development tool a few times before and it caused a problem with the license if the PC was not connected to the internet during the abduction. Due cat of McAfee support reset their files in order to allow the relocation-reactivation. Here is their link cat - McAfee - media contains the link to the cat

I got McAfee, but the connection has started working again on its own so I thought I was clear of problems. However, when I checked it says he was doing routine checks the updates in vain when I told it to do a manually. So stick with McAfee you don't follow their procedure of fix would have upgraded my PC at risk by not updated and, like other McAfee ads have since explained, the application did not refer to its database of threats correctly [and this could explain part of the variability of the symptoms of failure but all involved loss of internet connection]. Actually, I removed McAfee then installed Microsoft Security Essentials rather & my answer IE is faster I knew it [even though I had the Add-ons McAfee disabled for centuries].

    - - - - - - - - - - - - -

If you do not have McAfee then Windows update than kb2705219 can also be a cause as the uninstall that appeared to solve the problem for some users [but I'm not particularly convinced by this]. To uninstall an update - control panel, programs & features, [left side of the window] see installed updates. Wait until the system has finished the research for the list of updates. Select update required, then right click and Uninstall.

Hello. In PS CS4 and XP.

Half of the time I use the color picker in Photoshop suddenly IE is opened using Photoshop in a separate window. I'm clicking on something? What I seem to be clicking on the box of color ranges is in the color picker. It's just very annoying. Was wondering if anyone had this problem? I thought that using Photoshop was supposed to open if you click on the Photoshop eye on the toolbar, which is not in CS4.

It has been seen from time to time.  This may indicate corruption in the memory space of Photoshop.  If I were you, I would immediately save my work and close Photoshop if you do this.

Some things to try to prevent it from happening:

    • Update your video driver on the web site of the manufacturer of your video card.
    • Set up the OpenGL drawing to turn off advanced drawing and vertical sync.
    • Examine your 3rd party plug-ins, delete the ones you don't need and seek versions updates to those that you use.

Good luck to get to the bottom of this.

    Hi John,.

Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Community forum.

According to the description of the problem your taskbar does not work as it should. After reset of Internet Explorer open tabs of Internet Explorer does not appear under a single icon of IE those who make their distinct appearance.

First of all, try to restart the computer, and then check the status of your question. If the problem persists, try to perform the same task again and check the status of task bar button. The following article will help you perform the task and help you customize the taskbar.

Change appear on the taskbar buttons

In addition to this, I suggest you to check the system files are they work very well or not and to check who are trying to run the (SFC) System File Checker tool.

Scan SFC will be scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    1. Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
    2. Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
    3. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow
