When you get the pop-up window?

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the screenshot of the window to help you.

Please refer to the article below, how to include a screenshot in your message

  • Why internet Explorer opens in the small window

After I opened my home page in Internet explorer 7. Whenever I click on the links they allways open in small windows. I tried to resize and closing, but it makes no difference, I also tried to hold the SHIFT key and the keys CTRL but in vain.

The whole recall settings has been nothing else into trouble for Microsoft.  Your "bug light" comment is correct to halfway.

However, there are some things that you can try and I hope you find a solution.

Have you tried to resize your window and close the resized window via clicking on the top left corner of the window (Yes left) hand and selecting 'close' in the menu?

It flashes at the bottom of my screen until I click on it. I don't want no internet will automatically launch and I want either of Facebook. How can I keep internet start automatically without my even clicking on it? Thanks for the help.

    Dear Rachel,

    Please, try the following steps.

    (1) check that the homepage of your Internet Explorer is not "facebook.com" - could be found under Tools-> Internet Options-> general, in the section "Home Page." If you do not have "facebook.com" written there, replace it with another site that you want to load when you start your browser or with "subject: empty ' If you just want a blank window is displayed when you run your browser.

    (2) on your Start menu, choose programs-> startup programs list. If "Internet Explorer" is in the list, just simply delete.

((3) if (2)) does not help, try running 'msconfig' (choose Run from the Start Menu and just type "msconfig" in the window that appears), go to "Startup" and uncheck a box near point "Windows Internet Explorer".

    I hope this helps!

  • ThinApp several version of Internet Explorer running with IE 9 native

Hello, it's me again with questions about ThinApp.

So I thinapp-ed IE 6, 7, 8.  We currently have IE 9 running in our Windows 7, 64-bit box.  I understand about ThinDirect, how can I have some links opening in some version of IE.
We have developers and webmasters who constantly need to test applications and sites in all versions of Internet Explorer.  So, the idea of multiple IE running on their desktop is very exciting for them.
All IE 6, 7 and 8 are fine thinapp.  But, we noticed a small problem.  If a user just finished using wound up IE 6, 7 or 8, then they open a link from Outlook or any other place (during this time, no IE are open).  The link is open in whatever the last thinapp-ed IE they used, not with their native IE 9.
I made sure that all the IE thin-app are not CHECKED with "say if Internet Explorer is not the web browser default."  Only the native IE9 has this option checked.
If the user opens up IE 9 and the press are lacking and that the default web browser check, everything opens in IE 9 again until they run the other thinapp new IE.
So, I want users to run their IE 9 as their default browser how thinapp IE whether or not they have running.  And I don't want any other IE to check and see if they are the browser by default every time that they have first begin to run.
I can do to fix that?

    Hello

I understand ThinDirect, how can I have some links opening in some version of IE?

You should make a thinapp of each of the IE version and while thinapp each version you must specify the links that should be opened in this specific browser.

An example lets take IE 7 and allows you to make the assumption that the www.sevencycles.com must only be opened in IE 7 on the deploymet machine.

    Capture procedure:

    1. On a clean XP machine to perform a Prescan.
    2. Perform an upgrade from IE 6 to IE 7 only. No updates of windows.
    3. Make postscan and capture normally until you reach page statistical quality "collection."
    4. The page following this is the redirection of the browser page. Here, change the it be redirected URL www.sevencycles.com.
    5. To proceed with the default options until you build the thinapp of EI or complete the thinapp process.

    Deployment procedure.

    1. Copy the bin folder or the Internet Explorer.exe of IE7 thinapped on machine/Win 7 64 vbit machine deployment. Lets assume that the ferry of Internet explorer 7 is in c:\bin.
    2. Mount / copy the content of the VMware ThinApp on the deployment computer.
    3. Perform a thinreg thinapped Internet explore as > thinreg.exe /a c:\bin\Internet explorer.exe.

    Audit:

    1. Post thinreg check the contents of c:\Program Files (x 86) \VMware\VMware ThinApp\Thindirect it must contain the names of the packaging of each of the browser thinapped .txt files. You'll 7.txt Windows Internet Explorer. Open and check if the redirect is for www.Sevencycles.com and the location of the internet explorer 7 is OK.
    2. Check if the thindirect in tools-> Addons plugin run on Internet Explorer 9.

Are we on the same page so far?

Now come to the script in hand, I checked with the two browsers. IE 6 and IE 7 on Win 7 64.

    • Thindirection of IE6 was www.nbs.com/sixers and IE7 in www.sevencycles.com
    • Copied on the exe of thinapped to the deployment machine and did a thinreg of VirtIE6.exe and Internet explorer.exe (Version 7).
    • Therefore, the contents of the c:\Program Files (x 86) \VMware\VMware ThinApp\ThinDirect would be 2 VirtIE6.txt text files and 7.txt Windows Internet Explorer.
    • Launched the native IE 9 and the URL entered as www.nba.com/sixers; He launched the URL in IE 6 and IE 9 closing.
    • Closed-IE 6.
    • Yet once launched IE 9 and set the URL of the browser www.sevencycles.com and supported on entry.
    • IE 7 was launched with the URL the value www.sevencycles.com and IE 9 has closed.
    • Private IE 7.
    • Launched thinapped Excel 2003.
    • In a given cell type www.yahoo.com and then clicked on it. He opened a www.yahoo.com in IE 9 in accordance with your expectations.

I had the wrong scenario that you mentioned. Are there any changes that you suggest me to do in the test?

  • Internet Explorer causes with HTTPService

I have two HTTPServices. One of them read data from a file generated with PHP that queries one of my MySQL Tables. There is no problem with this one. HTTPService another sends data to another .php file that has another query that adds data to the same table.

    Problem is the following:

1 step - when I use Internet Explorer and try to add the new entry to my table that works of this step.
2 step - I'm trying to update my datagrid which is connected to the first HTTPService, that's ok too.
step 3 - after seeing the updated data on my dataGrid I try to add a new second data at my table. It gives no error, and I check my table in PHPMyAdmin, I see that the second entry is successful.
4 step - but this one and after this stage, it seems, that Microsoft Internet Explorer does not update the data I want to call from MySQL. Instead, I show a sort of cached data. (Data from the second step).

Initially, I thought that's on my HTTPService concurrrency property, but it does not work.

NOTE: There is no problem with Mozilla Firefox or Safari.

Please help me, at least to present an explanation of this problem in the Microsoft way.

Yes, it is a 'feature' Ajax IE provides to you (ie use for calls JavaScript Ajax is exactly the same engine it uses for the HttpService in Flash stuff). The place around that, I've gotten in the past is to create an int that is attached to the GET request for each call so that it can not be cached and is incremented by request. If you find yourself with myrequest.php? count = 1, myrequest.php? count = 2, etc. so that IE sucks that they are completely different applications so it never puts in cache.
