  I think that my Acrobat Reader has been recently updated, and now whenever I comment and click on "text" the popup from the toolbar appears way too the left and through the window, as it is not easily accessible (see screenshot). I tried to move it, but have not thought about it. Thank you in advance for your help!

  

  Ah, the plot thickens... This has to do with the display of the label next to the buttons of the tool on a Mac. You can disable these labels by doing a right-click (or Ctrl-click) on all buttons in the tool and then unchecking 'Display all the labels'. The text properties bar will appear in the Acrobat window. Under Windows, it seems that the function 'Display all the labels' completely hides the text properties bar.

  Then, turn off the labels, and you should see the bar in an easy to reach position.

• M452nw: M452nw - too light output text

  I recently installed my new M452nw color laserjet printer.  The output of color and graphics are great.  However, the output of black text comes out too light.  In fact, if you compare the same document on my new M452nw from my old HP LaserJet 6 p printer old text output is much better.   Advice on getting the output text that do better would be appreciated.   Sometimes I see an online review from PC Magazine this month which said to the text on this printer output is below average so I don't know if I'm stuck with poor quality text output or if there is something I can do to improve.

• Pavilion HPE 440F: need new video card for HPE-440F

  Salvation;

  The ATI Radeon HD 5570 in my Pavilion HPE 440F appears to be dead, or is doing. The fan has stopped working and I think the map has overheated.

  I'm running Windows 7 x 64.

  Anyway - I would like to install a new card - and best video. It is, since it is HP, I bet that not all cards are compatible with my system.

  For example, I can buy an ATI Radeon SR-290, which gets much higher than my current card pass mark. Or maybe even a NVidia card might be a better value for the money.

  Can someone point me to a list of compatible video cards for my system?

  Ubuntu_Kid, welcome to the forum.

  The problem you are having is, most of the newer video cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  Your computer was released on August 26, 2010.

  Some of the manufacturers have developed a VBIOS that will allow their cards to work with legacy BIOS.  I know that the EVGA has done with some of their cards.  I suggest to call their Tech Support (1888-880-3842) to see if they have a card that will work with your computer.

  Recived my monitor yesterday and I found a few questions

  1)

  When you lift the monitor that it is obvious that something is in bulk on the inside. There is a rattle noise clear as if a small screw is tumbling backward. Other than as described below, the monitor seems to work very well however, and I'm not sure if there is an RMA number valid?

  2)

  The monitor is audible noises when displaying text. No noise is audible during the display of photos or video.

  Specificially happens when displaying multiple lines of text in small print. Particularly in windows Explorer when you browse folders with a lot of content in the 'list' or 'Detail' view. The noise is so clearly audible above noise background and difficult to ignore. If I resize the Solution Explorer Windows, noise is reduced / increases in proportion to the size of the window. Noise is also audible when you browse web pages with text or editing of text documents.

  The noise is constant while adjusting the contrast or brightness. It is independently using DVI or DisplayPort. Have also tried to connect to another computer with the same result.

  If I reduce the resolution or use Windows scaling of the frequency of the sound changes, but is still audible.

  EDIT: Two computers use windows 8. We have a discreet GFX (MSI 760) and the other is a laptop with Intel HD graphics card.

  Here's something to check.

  Open windows control panel, open Folder Options, click the view tab and Remove the check mark next to "always show icons, never thumbnails".  Click on apply to save this change.

  I started my computer today and no text is display. There is no time at the bottom right of my office and no text under my programs, the Start button will not work either. I was suggested to do a system restore, but without a start button and no text similarly navigate a system restore I am unsure of my options. If someone knows this problem and a way to fix or an easy way to get a restore syetm with no display text at all I would be very happy. I am running windows 7.

  Given that your PC is only two weeks old I could do this:

  1. Perform a factory restore, using the hidden disk partition. Consult the manufacturer's web page for instructions on how to start the process.
  2. If the machine always behaves badly, require a warranty repair or replacement. If this machine does not work perfectly now and then he'll grief for years to come.

  I don't think that there is a layout manager "absolute." Have you considered too horse paint (Graphics g). Call super.paint (g) for doing the real work. Then g.drawText ("go", 150, 20)? Of course, you need to g.setFont () and g.setColor () and do a little math to get the text where you really want.

  We have updated a v2 app that has an element with Post following text element & P3_END_DATE_ICON.
  
  The P3_END_DATE_ICON element is hidden and calculated when loading either provide an icon with javascript or null.
  
  Following the upgrade, HTLM with escape sequence text, not just the HTML code as before so the javascript does not work.
  
  Before I dig deeper, it is a known problem please?

  In addition, some fields have an icon that allows a user to clear the value. It's text post element too with the following:
