  If you activate player rights, allowing the player uses ave files or related items, then you are limited to 500 uses for the presentation. For more details on this topic, read the article 15 of the LICENSE agreement. Otherwise, do not activate the player rights and collect data only, not complements in PDF format.

  For your 50 people, you should probably read the license carefully, but I think that you are covered. The EULA is downloadable from Adobe to review if you don't have Acrobat.

  Hi guys,.

  I worked with an Acrobat X Pro and Livecycle ES II, test to determine if we can use it effectively as a replacement for paper forms in our workplace. We have also recently deployed Alfresco, an open source CMS, that is very tightly integrated with what we would see with Adobe forms. However, I am a little confused trying to understand what controls the format of the response.

  The forms I create in liveCycle, when they are distributed, the answer seems to be a pdf or an xml file. The first few shapes that I designed happened on the server as a pdf when I've tested (which is exactly what I wanted). The last two, I created (using liveCycle), however, seem to always arrive as xml. I went through every page of the distribute... Assistant with what I feel, it's rather a fine toothed comb but cannot find anywhere to control this.

  Today, I discovered that Alfresco is impossible to analyze the form fields in liveCycle PDF (it's to do with Tika and PDFBox Analyzer, but it is not really related to this disccussion directly), so I spent in Acrobat that in my tests so far, creates analyzable form by Tika. When I distribute the form in Acrobat, however, the answers always seem to be in the format xfdf (which seems to boil down to xml in any case).

  I don't know that real PDF have been created at some point. I still have full testing of responses pdf files. Does anyone know what I'm missing which regulates the answer?

  OK, fwiw, this ad here in the case where it helps someone else.

  This became apparent once I tried to work around the problem. I concluded that I could not get Adobe back stably pdf formats and started looking in how I could use the fdf or http responses to adapt the same result. I consider using Toolbox pdf to generate the PDF file once it arrives and realized that as signature details (such as the certificate) are not included in this format, it could never work to return the signed forms that way. I tried implementing a form with a signature field so that I could see and test the data posted and found - surprise, surprise - who once signed returns to form in PDF format. Of course, it's because this is the format that will preserve all data (read: signatures) in shape, but the fact that he makes this decision with no reflection anywhere in the user interface is incredibly frustrating. We set up such that all forms have a signature field so that we can expect a response from pdf.

• Form submission (or response collection) problems abroad

  I developed a form of fill-able (imported, massaged in LiveCycle Designer Word document) and then opened in Acrobat X Pro, tools-> split-> via Acrobat.com.  It was working fine until I went overseas.  I was able to submit forms using the xxx_distributed.pdf and see the results submitted by using xxx_responses.pdf.

  Now, however, while sending seems to work properly, IE. It is said the form was sent successfully and I see the file of the form on my Acrobat.com account, xxx_responses.pdf file never shows that there is no responses submitted. by pressing "Update" no results.

  Anyone have any ideas?  I guess it is not necessarily bound by being abroad, but it was the time of the problem.

  (1) is in any way other than via the file xxx_responses.pdf (or Tracker) to see if my comments are actually in the database of Acrobat.com?   [c. to verify that submit it actually worked.

  (2) I guess it's possible that my ISP overseas blocking some necessary ports by a Tracker, etc. to interrogate the Acrobat.com database - someone ' one knows what are ports?

  (3) all other things that I can check?

  OK, I solved my problem.  The problem was caused by the blocking of incoming traffic in a router upstream from the mine.  My home setup consists of an ADSL modem/router which I use the modem part; the Ethernet cable goes into the WAN port of the router wireless one another (a better router wireless modem/router provided by your ISP).  But it turns out that provided by the ISP router was blocking traffic all entering (the standard, of course), but he had no knowledge of the outgoing traffic (why, I don't know) to allow incoming traffic.  Change the firewall rules to allow him to pass all traffic incoming to my router solved the problem.  My router has its own firewall, but he seems to know what inbound traffic to allow properly.

  Sorry, if this is in the wrong place, but desperate to find an answer. (This form is about to circulate among a few hundred grade 12 students, who will have a wide range of messaging options.  We have students do not have difficulties to send this form)

  I have a form, distributed, sent people to fill out the form (test first) and submit.  Which I will collect in the entering e-mail response file.

  Total egg on my face.  The people who described the problem for me, left aside the fact that they did not actually read the pop up window that came when they hit the submit button.

  This explains, so why no one really had an answer for me.  The popup window, when you choose 'internet' option indicates clearly that we must save, then fix on the mail program they choose.

• Distribute form does nothing in Acrobat 9.0 Standard with XP Pro

  I am using Windows XP Pro SP3 and Adobe Acrobat version 9.0.0 Standard via Enterprise Distribution (all features accessible to the general public, none disabled).

  I made sure that (top) advanced > 'extend forms fill-in & save in Adobe Reader... '. "has been selected and is saved in the document.

  When I click on the form (top) > "Disseminating the form", I get no response, or the next button does not work (when trying to distribute an Outlook e-mail).

  I used Add/Remove programs and repair the installation. Repair was properly executed. No change to Adobe...

  I also removed the installation, rebooted, reinstalled from distribution of the business successfully and rebooted. No change to Adobe...

  What should I try next?

  I just noticed that you are using the Standard and include digital signatures in your form. Standard is not able to apply the corresponding use right which allows player to sign a digital signature field, so you would need Pro for that. As a test, what happens if you remove the signature fields and try again?

  I just upgraded my vRealize operations to 6.2, and I work with two servers vCenter - vCenter 5.5 Update 2 b Build 2183111 (Windows OS) and vCenter Server 6 (Linux VCSA Appliance).

  After the successful upgrade - stop vCenter 5.5 collect information (adapter stuck on 'Start-up'), the vCenter 6 is very well and continue to collect information.

  What I've done so far:

  1. Restart both vROps and vCenter 5.5.
  2. Click on the Stop button next to the vCenter adapter 5.5 and click on start.
  3. Restart vCenter 5.5, click on stop, then wait for all services of vCenter to get running and click Start.

  Anyone who is familiar with this issue and know how to solve? I'll be happy to learn some tips/advice/solutions/solutions to my problem.

  You can try to remove the adapter and re - create.

  Remove and re-add the adapter Instance

  Remove and re-add (X / +)

  Home > Administration > Solutions > choose adapter > Configure (click on the gear icon) >

  Save the vCenter display name, Description, IP address of the server, credentials and expand the advanced parameters and note the configuration of collectors/groups (it may be by default group of collector)

  Delete:

  Select the Instance of the adapter

  Click on the "X" icon to delete the instance.

  Do not check the box "delete releated objects '.

  Click the Yes button

  Click on the "X" icon to delete the instance.

  Add:

  Click the '+' to add the instance.

  Enter the display name, Description, vCenter Server IP address, credentials and expand the advanced settings and select the same collectors/groups configuration previously used (it may be by default group of collector)

  Click on the button "test connection".

  Review and accept the certificate

  (You can select and copy the certificate information and save it for a record)

  Click the 'Save Settings' button

  If you are prompted, select this option to Force recording

  Click on the close"" button.

  I accidentally created a few new collections with the sync mobile checked. Now I can not turn off. I click the icon synchronize to the left of the name of the collection and the application dialog box if I want to stop the sync to which my answer is Yes. But it doesn't work. • Should what programs I make and distribute forms?

  I'm loking for an answer on how best to do that as long as a company we are trying to do. I want to be able to take sheets of paper that are currently being filled by mechanics and convert them to PDF forms that they fill out on a shelf in the shop. Then, I want them to be able to email me the full version of the PDF back to register in our system and keep on our records. My question is simply what is the best way to achieve this. We have not purhcased anything yet regarding the Adobe programs or tablets. We are eager to convert to a system that produces less paper.

  A full version of Adobe Acrobat will be enough to create the fillabe a PDF file that we could then distribute to the mechanical tablets with adobe reader on them or each mechanic will have the full version itself in order to modify it and save it?

  You can create forms with Acrobat. On the side of the Tablet, you need to use a PDF Viewer that is able to use interactive forms. The PDF Viewer integrated for iOS is not any support for forms. Others, as Adobe Reader have limited support and PDF Expert from some Readdle as (iOS only) have the best support. None has as full support as player for Mac and Windows. It begins to matter more if you used advanced form features or JavaScript.
