DLNA with LED TV 46VL748 - video not supported?

Hello

You have encountered problems with the DLNA of LED TV 46VL748 feature?
This utility works well with pictures and music but does not support any SD video as AVI or MP4 (tested with DivX3, DivX6, and STROKE)
I have a NAS (QNAP TS-439) with UPNP Twonkymedia server running and videos play well with other UPNP clients like my iPhone (with Twonky Mobile) or my PC.
I have the latest firmware already installed on my TV.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Phil

Hello

The user s manuals - http://www.toshiba-om.net/LCD/PDF/English/VL748-4046-English.pdf

If you check the user on page 52 s manuals, you will find a list of all formats that are supported for playback DLNA.
I can see mp4 is in the list, but there are also notes that some files can not be played.
Does that mean exactly?
Due to huge encoding on the format options, which exist on the market, TOSHIBA cannot guarantee, that each file in the list, type will work in practice.

What you can try is to transfer your files in another supported format listed in the manuals and test the functionality again.

Firmware update won't help much. Decoders used in TVs are shipped and limit its specifications. Still is it that these decoder chipsets cannot be upgraded later.

Please try to change the file format and test it again. Would be nice if you can send comments.

  • Lumix FZ1000 / 4K video not supported by first 14 elements?

    Hello

I just had a discussion with the experts, but I can't believe what they told me!

My problem, such as reported to them: I am working with sequences Adobe first 14 and 4 K of my Lumix FZ1000.

First can not play my clips correctly: there are stills, broken photos, formwork...

    Codec: mp42 (mp42/avc1)

Response: I'm sorry for the device that you are using is not supported by Adobe Premiere Elements. Please refer to this article for more details.

    Can anyone help?

    If all goes well,

    Anita

I don't have the same device, but they have two Panasonic cameras that shoot '4K '.   I have no trouble editing the clips with the Prime Minister 13 items and suspicious that there is no difference if I upgraded to 14.

When 14 was introduced there was a description of marketing that said it would modify video from the cameras 'like' a little on a shortlist.  He did not limit the support to these a few cameras.  In fact, the opposite is true.  I know a few "consumer cameras" which takes clips from 4 K that can't handle the elements of Prime Minister.   An exception is the NX1 Samsung that uses instead of the more common H.264 H.265.  There may be some cameras that can shoot variable frame rates (for example, some early GoPros) which may require an extra step of treatment.  Other than that, if your Sony or Panasonic says '4 K' on the box, you can expect elements of Prime Minister to work.

Processing power is a challenge that must be overcome.   Nothing in the world consumption works a more difficult computer video editing (or perhaps game).   Software video editing of all brands have "minimum obligations."  If you have a minimum computer, you can expect installation of video clips with smaller settings on any camera.  If you plan to shoot with the highest quality of 4K, you will need a PC range to be able to do it with any efficiency.

  • Problems with arguments, vector + AIR NativeProcess 'not supported'. < String >

I want to create an AIR application that will execute a call from style of command line (extendedDesktop) on an .exe file with an argument that is passed to it.

I followed the example of setting as shown on this page to reference Adobe. However, when I try to create a vector. < String > I get error "error #1007: instantiation attempted on a non-constructeur.»

This occurs on the following line:

    var processArgs:Vector. < String > = new Vector ["< String >"] ();

I also tried without the declaration of arguments and calling just the .exe without arguments, and I get the error "" the NativeProcess could not be started. "" Not supported in the current profile. "" I have several put supportedProfiles in place in my folder (including desktop computers and extendedDesktop) but don't know how to test and debug the file in Flash Builder with rights of extendedDesktop. "

    Hello

In my opinion, Adobe docs aren't clear on the requirements of "NativeProcess" during the creation. All the articles/docs, you find via references to research that we need to ensure that this descriptor is modified, which includes:

    extendedDesktop

    for example; http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/air/Flex/articles/air_screenrecording.html

While it seems to be necessary only for generation of deployment to ensure that the application is built in 'extended' profile that Active native installer and access to the native process.

In any case running Flash Builder with integration of built-in adl should allows you to test in my opinion (as I never had to manually change the descriptor creation/trials).

I suggest you to make sure that all things are built as planned and start the new thread on the creation of problems with Flash Builder and adl (as it seems that he is not running in the correct privileges - so you are not able to test/author some features). I assume that you use the administrator account on your machine (and Flash Builder has been installed and then run under the same account).

    (note: I'm on Mac)

  • Light Room video - .mov and .mp4 - saying video not supported in developing

    Hello

I have a movie of drone that I'd love to put in ambient light. I have the .mov file, and I converted it to encode in .mp4 media. LR is saying: "Unsupported Video in develop."

Can someone tell me why a simple video cannot be imported? in .mov or .mp4 format?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Just to clarify: your video has been imported in effect. This is different to being supported in the develop module. Lightroom does not allow you to use the module development with any video; It is not a video editor.

However, there are workarounds where you can apply the development parameters to videos. See this link, for example:

    http://LightroomKillerTips.com/another-way-edit-video-clip-Lightroom/

If you need more than that, you should consider using a tool like first or Premiere Elements video editing.

Here is the workaround from MS:

Use Windows Live Mail instead of Windows Mail

Windows Live Mail is an e-mail program that you install on your computer. Windows Live Mail stores messages on your computer. This means that you can access, read, and compose e-mail messages even if you are not connected to the Internet.

Windows Live Mail works with popular Web-based e-mail services such as Hotmail, AOL mail, Google mail, and Yahoo! mail. Windows Live Mail is designed to configure automatically many popular e-mail services.

  • Flash Pro CS6 with Air 14 SDK does not support iOS7 icons?

I am trying to publish an application using the Air SDK 14.0.0.110 (and tried 14.0.0.137) and there is still no place to put the files of icons iOS 7, 120 x 120, 76 x 76 and 152 x 152, is this correct?

Your only choice is to build from the command line, or replace with Flash Pro CC 2014.

Read this long thread for how you publish from the command line without having to get the whole typed command perfectly (you can get the line from the Console):
