I can't drag and drop images (jpeg, tiff, RAW, Olympus) of Windows explore (File Explorer and not IE) to Photoshop Elements as I can with Corel Paint Shop Pro X 2? He also works in Corel Painter IX.5 & ArtRage 3 (except for RAW)... My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit... I uninstalled and reinstalled the elements, but in vain. I also tried to run the items under different compatibility modes, but still no luck...

  I just remembered: If the editor or organizer "run as Administrator", then you can't drag and drop in Windows Explorer.  To see if you are running the program as administrator, start right click the icon of the bureau or the menu that allows you to launch PS, then select Properties.  On the Compatibility tab, is run this program as administrator checked?  (Note that in Vista and Windows 7, running a program as an administrator is different than running it in an account that is a member of the administrator group).

  Are you aware of any hardware or software changes, prior to the beginning of the question?

  You cannot drag, drop or move the pictures in windows photo gallery, but you can do a right click in the empty space of the image window and use options such as group by, sort by, etc. to organize photos. You can even mark photos for storing photos

  I use DW8 for the redesign of a site someone else created in FrontPage and will continue adding content using FrontPage. I'm afraid that another user would not understand CSS formatting and finally break, so I keep a page a table-based layout using the fairly minimal CSS for style.
  
  Some of these pages, when I try to drag an image from the list on the page file DW, the cursor only becomes a stripe diagonal-circle sign ' ", and it will not drop the image. When I create a blank page, with or without a table, I can drag image files and drop them without problem.

  I still don't know what the problem was, well, just rename the site and its location on the disk, forcing DW to reread everything from the beginning, eliminated the mysterious problem. There is probably an easier way to force DW to do this - I'll look for it if it happens again.

  but I want the user to be able to drag a photo to the page and what it apears on the page in the browser (no upload fancy but just customer data)

  and also a button 'Download' but also using data (I won't use of node.js or any database for this project).

  When I select multiple files in a folder in the library grid view and try to have them drag it to another folder (for example, I'm moving the file), it does not work.  Similarly, when I try to do the same to publish photos on smugmug, I have the same problem.  The only way to do is drag-and - drop individual files which becomes painful when you want to move or publsih 100 files. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  Just to sum up PSE6 or PSE7 are not supported under Win7 so you could face some issues.
