Do I need or should I, clear browser history?

Is there a way to erase history? I want to access a secure site with a password and account number, I don't want history to stay on the phone if lost.

As with all this interent access that on the control of the virus?

    This is not supported.  You cannot programmatically change the browser history.  The class that you reference is designed to be used with a browser field, not the browser BlackBerry itself.

    As for the rest of your question - you need to better define what you mean by "go private" because if all you want to say is do not keep a history - just sure the value 0 days or put empty when you close Internet Explorer.  I wouldn't consider that private browsing, but some might if they are simply hidden some of their most obvious pieces of the local prying.

    It is not really possible (and if that were the case, there are solutions). You are better off creating the content monitoring and logging to your router or your firewall (which I hope you have). Just make sure that doing so does not violate the laws in your area.

    I think you can get the menu bar by pressing the ALT key. If you want to return permanently, click View > toolbars and check menu bar.
