  I have virtually no experience with JavaScript and I'm trying to find a way to add some functionality to basic Automation to a form of Adobe.  I have a drop down box called "Hospital_Name" which will contain about 7 possible selections.  When the user makes a selection, I would like to have the field of text (called "Hospital_Address") under the drop-down list fill with the corresponding address to the selection.  I have the "Hospital_Address" text field set up for multiple lines and want the address to have a line break between the address and the city/province/postal code.

  For example, if the user has selected "Hospital 1", the text field would display:

  123 main St

  Anytown, CA 12345

  Help or you can provide examples would be greatly appreciated.

  GON,

  Add the near field date in your report, add a filter and choose between. Place the cursor in the first box and select Add - SQL expression, paste into the first expression that I gave you. Repeat for the 2nd box and voila it will filter you need. If you are unsure, then use the superior / equal to the value for the first term and the lower than the 2nd.

  I was wondering how I would go about getting data from a table that is in the current fiscal quarter?

  It's the simple query to get all the data:

  All I have to do is show the num_rows of the above query.

  MySQL QUARTER() function deals with calendar quarters rather than the fiscal quarters. In the United States, first by the federal Government's fiscal quarter begins October 1, dealing with MySQL as in the fourth quarter. The first fiscal quarter in California begins on 1 July, that MySQL considers (rightly) as of the third quarter.

  A way to get the quarter is to use a custom like this function:

  I just tried a report region based on PL/SQL query encoded using your method to refer to element names in the query string of back:

  As I suspected, he did not work for me P2_ENAMES was ('KING') or ('KING', 'SMITH'). I think it's because of the reason for which I gave in my previous post - ApEx passes off the coast of the dynamic execution of SQL string, it does not automatically replace the mention: P2_ENAMES with the value of the element. I don't know how it can work for you.

  I took a blow to modify your code for the construction of the query string - does not immediately guarantee, it'll work because I can't test (might be missing a parenthesis or quotation) it but you should get the idea:

  I know that has focused on getting this code works, but I would be remiss in my duties if I didn't at least mention the risk of SQL injection. You may already know this, but unless you do a good job to validate the values of the element used in the query, you could open yourself up to a SQL injection attack. For example, imagine what that would be returned if a hacker sharp entered "12345) GOLD (1 = 1" in the field of P11_SERIAL_NUMBERS - you would get all that may or may not be a security problem.

My client wishes to their viewers to be able to type a part number in the text field (green box) and when you clicked on the button 'Search' it opens a browser window and add to everything that has been entered into the text behind URL box that will.

  I have a drop down box with 3 values that can be selected:

  Dropdown2 is 101-3 subd. A

  101-3 subd. B

  101-3 subd. C

  I'm trying to get a field of text automatically fill based on selection:

  If Dropdown2 = 101-3 subd. A Text4 then = 'a. '.

  If Dropdown2 = 101-3 subd. B then Text4 = 'b. '.

  If Dropdown2 = 101-3 subd. C then Text4 = 'ValueC.

  I tried to create a custom for Text4 calculation script:

  You made a mistake... The comparison operator is "is" (or ' = '), not of '=', which is used to assign a value.

  So replace all these:
